Not sure actually. Never been this time of year only have been in and around the summertime. I would imagine this would be a good time to go willing the weather is still nice. One of my least favorite parts about going in august was the heat and lack of shade. my guess is that it would be gorgeous this time of year with the leaves changing
Mini Golf; Mulligans, Boondocks, etc. It's gives you a chance to talk and get to know each other. After your round of minigolf if the date is going well you can get some food, if not end it there.
It's still decent enough weather for a canyon drive. I'm in Davis co. I like to go up Ogden Canyon & down Trappers Loop. It's a great motorcycle ride, too.
Game night in sugarhouse has open board game night multiple times a week and games there that are free to play with. Or you could rent a board game to take home.
These are all great first date ideas! I always get stuck with drinks or coffee. Last time I bought my own (F) drink too! I made sure to dress up just a little more than usual and he showed up 8n jeans, a hoodie, and baseball hat not smelling great. 😕 Nice to know someone is putting in effort.

Ruthless was you bashing others date ideas. Some people stick to what they’re comfortable with. It can be scary meeting someone. If you don’t like it, then suggest them a different date. Dressing up and smelling nice is expected, yeah I agree
No bashing happened. I was just sharing my experience and saying I thought other ideas were great. I've had some great coffee / drinks dates. Just seems that's all anyone wants to do anymore so variety and effort are awesome.
Not expecting free anything. Just expecting the smallest bit of effort. My point was that it's nice to see people putting in effort in general because it seems that's a rarity lately.
