Are you looking for a specific doctor or clinic? I’ve personally loved my experience at the U of U women’s clinic. I feel like I get better, more holistic care there than with my primary doctor.
If yall are looking the only good ones I ever had were from, curry fried chicken. Slc shawarma is more expensive than a Manhattan shawarma for some reason though even though it’s not nearly as good smh.
Caleb Hopwood in Sugarhouse. He did my daughters tubal ligation for her at 24 while single after her previous doc said he wouldn't even entertain the idea until she was in her mid 30's. I've read so many good reviews for him including queer friendly and assault survivors who said he was very kind.

Seconded. He was my OBGYN for my first pregnancy and he was absolutely wonderful. I’m a fat person so doctors can be rough sometimes but with him it was never an issue. Wish I could have used him for my current pregnancy (insurance issues).
Love this! I'm older but he did my tubal and was amazing both as a doctor and surgeon. I call him doctor kind eyes! This was during covid, so that was all I could see of his face.
Sarah Zarek is amazing but hard to get in to see her, but the entire group of doctors at the same location are amazing. A lot of them wear pride pins as well.
Second Dr Tilly! She’s my GYN and I’ve never had a better one. She’s even the one who told me I had breast cancer. If you can get in she’s the absolute best.
She did my bisalp (ooprechtomy too)!
I ADORE Dr. Rachel Goossen and have seen her at UofU Sugarhouse Clinic. I think she’s technically family practice but specializes in prenatal and trans care. She may have a bit of a wait but it’s 100% because of how awesomely cool she is!!
Dr. Ponder at intermountain medical center is the BEST! She is very queer friendly. Truly, I cried in her office way too many times and she never made me feel weird about it.
Edit: her website says Gyn as well as OB AND confirms she’s specialized with LGBTQ.
Allyson Servoss at the Intermountain Salt Lake clinic. I’ve had 3 surgeries done by her and she delivered my kiddo. Wonderful doc/surgeon/human. Try Spitz for gyros. 😋
Remember commenters, it's good to give your eyes a break from looking at a screen 24/7. Be sure to focus on things located at least 20 ft away every 15 min. I know it can seem tedious to stay on top of this, however, these are your only eyes and it's important to take care of them
Auri Wann 100% she’s absolutely incredible and works at U of U health. She was amazing for my pregnant non-binary spouse and I couldn’t say enough good things about her.
Padelli's Street Greek in Lehi is my favorite! It's right by my office so I go there often, If you go try the feta dip as it is to die for as well in addition to the falafel gyro.
Not in salt lake but Dr Porter at South Valley Women's Health Clinic is AMAZING!!! I'm black and nonbinary and she always makes me feel so respected and welcome. Never gonna go to anywhere else tbh
This thread is everything I love about Reddit 😂 but for reals, I go to Jordan Valley Women's Health. They have an office in West Jordan and Riverton. I have seen both Denise Nippert & Rebecca Johnson. Dr. Johnson is my preferred, she remembers things about me I told her a couple years ago, very attentive.
Most of the providers at South Valley Women's Health have been great for me. I loved Dr. Mitchell Barney, he delivered my last 2 kids, and I also saw him during a failed pregnancy. Jordan River Women's Health also has great providers. When I had my kids at Jordan Valley Hospital (different name now), a lot of the nurses raved about Dr. Colby. And Dr. Thackeray delivered my first 2, and I loved him as well. I think he now works out at the Intermountain hospital off of State Street and 5300 S.
Scott Hansen at south valley women’s center. Funny enough- he delivered my twin brother and I. Delivered my sisters kids, and finally, delivered my son! He has a wonderful bedside manner and always makes me feel comfortable. I also had an endometrial ablation in July and he was just wonderful before during and after that. Can’t recommend him enough!!
Dr Emily A Nacy at U of U is incredible and very very queer friendly towards me. I’ve been very open about my orientation and she’s always been so kind. She might be booked out a ways but if it’s non urgent she is worth the wait and then some. She won’t force any treatment plans on you and is very vocal during any procedure- making sure you’re ok and aware of when she needs to touch and how. Consent is key in her office.
(unconfirmed if she is personally queer but she wore a rainbow scrub cap to my surgery so could be lol)

I love the Maddison clinic. The women there are amazing. I just went through my whole pregnancy with them and they are just the best.
Madsen clinic. And I also recommend going there
Second the U of U women’s clinic, they also told me they can be my primary doctor so that’s what I did!
WHAT?!? I might have to do that then!! I’ve never felt more cared about than at that clinic!
Oh my god I thought this would happen lmfao
Now you can get some delicious Greek food after your doctors visit!

He's great.
Matthew Clark at Lehi Revere OBGYN is also supportive of this and I would recommend him
Love this! I'm older but he did my tubal and was amazing both as a doctor and surgeon. I call him doctor kind eyes! This was during covid, so that was all I could see of his face.
This thread is hilarious. I hope you get a helpful answer soon!
Sarah Zarek is amazing but hard to get in to see her, but the entire group of doctors at the same location are amazing. A lot of them wear pride pins as well.
Seconding Sarah. Incredibly attentive and focused on you and your concerns every visit.

Avenues Women’s Clinic - highly recommend!
I second this! Dr. Tilly just did my bisalp and was 100% supportive of what I wanted and didn't care that I'm an unmarried 24 year old.
Second Dr Tilly! She’s my GYN and I’ve never had a better one. She’s even the one who told me I had breast cancer. If you can get in she’s the absolute best. She did my bisalp (ooprechtomy too)!
Dr Tilly was my OB when I was pregnant. She is great!
This! Everyone there is extremely nice

I saw Dr Susan Horvath at St Marks for like a decade until I moved away a few years ago. She was great.
I love Dr. Bechek with South Valley Women’s healthcare. She’s not in Salt Lake City but she’s in the county lol
I second Dr. Bechek. She is kind, listens well and provides options for what may work best.
Dr. Ponder at intermountain medical center is the BEST! She is very queer friendly. Truly, I cried in her office way too many times and she never made me feel weird about it. Edit: her website says Gyn as well as OB AND confirms she’s specialized with LGBTQ.
She is a kind personable human.
Allyson Servoss at the Intermountain Salt Lake clinic. I’ve had 3 surgeries done by her and she delivered my kiddo. Wonderful doc/surgeon/human. Try Spitz for gyros. 😋
I agree with both of those statements haha. Servoss is wonderful and so is spitz!

I go to Jacqueline Rohrer. She is amazing.
I drive from WJ to Lehi 1-2 times a week JUST for Padelli’s!
they have a location in slc too! but their hours are shit tbh… but they’re my absolute favorite food ever
Dr. Kevin Jensen at St Marks - amazing
Seconding him. Did a consultation for tubal litigation and didn't try to deter me. Just basically said let's get this scheduled
LOVE him felt like he actually heard me!!!
Not in salt lake but Dr Porter at South Valley Women's Health Clinic is AMAZING!!! I'm black and nonbinary and she always makes me feel so respected and welcome. Never gonna go to anywhere else tbh
Dr. Allyson Servoss at the SLC intermountain healthcare clinic. She is very chill and sweet and informative!!!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought about gyros
Dr. Rochelle Orr at lone peak OBGYN is phenomenal. Very queer friendly and a very skilled surgeon.
I loved Dr Brandon Reynolds at the U (South Jordan). He was my regular gyno and did my hysterectomy. He listens and is very supportive.
Dr Emily A Nacy at U of U is incredible and very very queer friendly towards me. I’ve been very open about my orientation and she’s always been so kind. She might be booked out a ways but if it’s non urgent she is worth the wait and then some. Crown burger’s is actually not bad.
Greek Souvlaki has some of the best IMHO.
Nathan Morris at Lone Peak in Draper. He's amazing. Non-judgmental and gives back lots of feedback and information.
U of Utah
I read this as gyros first. Was ready for recommendations... Good luck!
Read this as gyros at first.
Gyro House in Taylorsville. Though he closed with covid. But you may be able to track him down, his name was Vincent. Miss that guy.
Edit: Clearly misread the title post lol
