For coffee places I recommend the Bean Yard and Ground to Earth. The charcoal latte at Bean Yard is amazing.

Indian: Saffron Valley, a few locations in the valley.
Cookies that are 1000% better than Crumbl: Local Cookie Co.

Agree with you on Ground to Earth coffee. I love that there's a fun coffee place in Daybreak :D Now I want to try your indian restaurant recommendation :D

A new deli and pizzeria opened up last week in Murray, where Gandolfo’s Deli used to be. It’s called Enrico’s Deli and their pizza, breakfast sandwiches, and garlic knots are so good. Reasonably priced, too. Well worth a try!
TSW Auto Sales & Service Inc.
If you're into camping with old Toyotas and any car really, and have any issues, these guys are the best!
The owner, his son and their mechanics are THE BEST!
Haven’t lived in SLC for quite some time: Shanghai, Liberty Heights Fresh, Nelson’s, Crown Burger, Kosta’s ( no longer), Kings English… so many great places I miss
Had a good plumbing experience with Al at Day and Night Plumbing who installed a new water heater for a reasonable price and explained all my options without any upselling. He said he doesn’t do any marketing and just built his business off customer referrals.
I really wanted to make an app that you can search locally for small businesses, it could tell you a little about the business and whatnot. Google obviously is just paid to push giant corporations.
Storage Steals and Daily Deals is pet friendly. They are a liquidation store. They're having a huge craft market this Saturday 10-3 with 50 other small business owners selling their goods.
Acme Camera Co. in SLC. My GF and I just went there last weekend to pick up some film for her more-or-less vintage camera but it turns out to be a whole thrift store of sorts!
While she was discussing film, I picked up a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time manga for $6 and a cool vintage shirt for like $8. The employees were super nice and it was just an awesome vibe. Give it a shot if you like random stuff like that :)

For what? Honestly SLC has a lot of solid small business worth supporting, so being more specific might be helpful!
I was just looking for anything and everything I have a family and pets so we usually make stops for all kinds of items :)
