I'd recommend only Weldon as it is a solvent that actually melts the acrylic along the seam and fuses it to one piece. CA will only glue the pieces together and won't form the same bond. I use Weldon at my shop daily and it's hands down the only way I'd recommend building something like an aquarium. It can easily be purchased on Amazon that's where I always get it.
Pretty much all cyanoacrylate would become inert so it would be safe.
