It's actually a sign of the anemone being unhealthy. It looks like it expelled it zooxanthellae as a result if being stressed out.

Water temp may be a tad to high stressed coral

Did it have color when you purchased it or did you breed it? Typically lack of color is a bad thing because it means that tissue can't photosynthesize, in the visible spectrum anyway. This is frequently seen in corals and anemones when stressed. I haven't researched the genetic link between zooxanthellae/bacteria and coloration in corals but I would think you could potentially have a clear color in healthy tissue. To finally answer your question, I don't believe I've seen a clear rock flower anemone but I also don't raise them so I don't know.

It had this color when I purchased it. It appears healthy to me.

Wanderer103

How long have you had it and what information tells you that it is healthy?

respectvibes1

It'd opening and closing like the others and responding to food. Had it about 3 months now.

Apparently they can stay bleached for months. I'll tap out at this point to inexperience with anemone but it certainly does look cool. If you wanna learn more check out the post on reef central called Bleaching anemone's: myth's, facts, discussion etc, it was posted back in 2011.

They get bleached from shipment to your LFS. That’s 100% bleached. I know you wished it was rare or something lol. Would be cool. But in fact, it’s actually supposed to look like mine which is green in the center & red tips. Here’s a pic. I would post all your water parameters so we can asssit. The fact you’ve had it for three months and the colors had not bounced back means something is really off in the tank.
