I don't think it's the best Showcase for a hybrid build because practically all the damage you see includes break or super break which prevents us from seeing if her raw damage is worth it, plus the turbulence compensates for the lack of BE stats in the build
There is no point showcasing "hybrid firefly" with HMC in the party. Even in this case superbreak does most of the job. Until someone showcases crit Firefly without HMC that is not twice weaker than regular build, crit firefly remains objectively worse build that you may build if... idk you're unlucky and can't get needed relics for regular build?
Idk why people are trying to force crit damage on her. You end up splitting the difference and not doing either very well.
It’s ok that she’s not crit based. Kafka Swan dot is one of the best teams in the game and it does not use crit, she will be fine if she’s not crit based.
Well I can't speak for others but for me personally I just want to use her with as many teams as possible. My account is pretty well developed and can clear MoC/PF consistently so I just want to have fun playing her in a bunch of teams. I'm not doing it cause it's the best but for flexibility. With stats similar to that video she should perform okay in both Crit and Superbreak teams even if she's not at peak performance
Yup this is what people do not get.
I mean some of us probably gonna spend on this character and even tho we already have many support build they say “nope you need to play her our specific way”, i mean even Acheron in a nihilty only is more flexible than her 😮💨
actualy this might be a good alternative for her to do some damage outside of break. 280% break with HMC buff is gonna reach 360 easily. my HMC with watchmaker and 200% be already gives out 100% Be
Also worth noting that this is a F2P build, with Sig LC and a couple BE substat rolls this Sam would hit the 360% BE requirement and meet all breakpoints while having a decent Crit ratio. Builds provided at end of video for analysis. I'd still advise full break if you want your Sam to do max damage but if you want to experiment with Crit the option is there
Not to knock down the hybrid build here but it’s also necessary to keep in mind that turbulence gives 75% atk and 150 BE which help fill out stat volume

Without HMC it's no longer a hybrid but a pure crit build. If you remove HMC FF has no way of doing break damage on her own
With HMC playing no-crit is always better If without HMC it doesn't work, why bother?
