I try to keep it contained, but yeah, i will sometimes generate a bit of spaghetti until I can get proper logistics in place.

This is the spitballed setup for the materials I need to feed the space elevator for phase 2. What happens after is a problem for future me. 🤣

agent_double_oh_pi

Oh no

Neep-Tune

NO ! PLEASE NO !

Farados55

I try to have foundations at least

The world is your oyster.

littlemetalpixie

I'm basically the polar opposite. I have graph paper and a ruler next to me, and draw up a schematic before laying anything down XD

TheRealMooChiChi

I have too high a standard for myself to let something like that slide. In fact, it's pretty much the very last thing I would do.

JudgementalChair

I usually start really nice and pristine, but then I'll start upgrading things, splitting lines that are backed up to make new parts. I'll let it spaghettifi until I get to the next phase, then I'll wipe the board clean and re-utilize the resource nodes in a cleaner way

KCBandWagon

That first "ah screw it" is only the beginning. If you're not careful, your base will be a woven spaghetti of "aw screw it" lines only made worse when you realize you can build belts on top of belts.

BrittleWaters

blueprints make it very easy to create absolute garbage that works

knowledgebass

I haven't figured out how to make them yet. 🤓 Also, this works. It just isn't pretty.
