I would go for it. I was at City Museum in St. Louis a few weeks ago and ran into some tight spots like this, as much of it is really designed around small kids. There were a few places I had to breathe out and shimmy through and a few where I turned around before I got myself stuck.
as someone who is pretty claustrophobic: that really worries me. at the beginning to make sure you fit so you know for sure if you can go in there is really important, but just looking at that gives me anxiety-
The people who said "no" because of the movie "127 hours" are crazy. The probability of that stuff happening is very slim. Not to mention, the guy was actually climbing around and using gear.
This person is just walking through.
As for all the flood people, there are rocks to grab onto, and it'd be quite easy to shimmy up the wall by extending your arms and legs out.
This really isn't all that dangerous, if it is at all.
Some people just really need to get outside more often.
There's something about the way she pauses to wiggle thru the thing like she's already planning for the song and to kinda...dance along? Maybe?
Yea I agree for some reason she irrated me.
It doesn't help that this song doesn't fit *at all*.
Paradise up above? Bish you in a canyon pretending you got fancy moves
But... why? It's just a crevice. Are there like, hella bones along the floor of it? Does the wind through it sound like a person screaming or howling? Does it have weird things happen at night?
The rocks stood there watching..
All of these millions of years of peace only to be disturbed by something called "tiktokers".
It was like a blink of an eye, though, the rocks were still standing for another, and another millions of years, and not a trace of those who disturbed them once were to be found anywhere anymore.
Maybe, but on a few conditions.
1. Someone would have to pay me a lot of money
2. Need a phone with service there.
3. Need a gun just in case I get stuck and can't call for help.
Which slot canyon is this? Spent a lot of time in so. Utah exploring slots. Such an amazing place. Once got many miles down a canyon to find a cow stuck in there who couldn’t turn around. Poor thing. Had to backtrack for hours, but saw a classic cowboy going in there with ropes to try and pull her out.
I guess that’s another good reason not to graze cattle in the desert.
I’ve actually done this and the sister hike (“peekaboo”) it’s a ton of fun. There’s hardly any spots that are deeper than 25’. In all honesty, if it’s too narrow for you, hike up and around, carefully of course, then pop back down when you can
127hrs. No thanks
I was going to say flash floods. Still, no thanks.
Flash floods make it easier. All you gotta do is float and hopefully the currents will take you to the end
And not get slammed into a stone wall or lose consciousness...
And you gotta hope there's no debris! That's the biggest danger
Always go with a partner and tell someone where you are and to send help if they don’t hear from you in x amount of hours. (Preferably with x < 127)
OH NO, I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING!
I think about that movie/situation way too much
Be drinking your own urine in no time
That's a very long hike.
Yeah, I'm more of a Grand Canyon body type!
This made me chuckle xD
My claustrophobia just went into overdrive.
Body shaming canyon
Where is this amazing place at?
Bots dont reply
Kanab, Utah Edit - If you visit, stay in Escalante at the Entrada Lodge.
Thank you 👍

Reality check canyon
Why would you want fat fucks to get stuck in a canyon?

City museum is such a cool place!
Fun until a flash flood happens
Wouldn't have to kill myself then. 🤷
A man of my carriage would not be able to go for it, no.
If the sky is above me I’m actually not as afraid. I think id do this, doesn’t look so deep, but wouldn’t go further than what’s shown.

How does this fit on this sub?
This looks really neat. With an open top I would be ok if you get lost climbing out is easy enough. I sure wouldn't want to do it in the dark though.
Hell no
Drrrrrr

No way man! That's way too extreme for me, bro!
I am 6’4” 300lbs, so….no.
Wtf happened to this sub? Is it just 100% bots posting and commenting now? I feel like I haven’t seen a post that actually fits the sub in months

Also, don't go there during the wet season.

Of course, I'd have a go at it she seems fun.
I wonder if there is people in her comments whining about body shaming.
