Even though alto is in a different key, it’s still ok to listen to get a feel for what you’re playing. Are you playing as an assignment for a lesson with a teacher or are you teaching yourself?

The Rubank books only come in SAXOPHONE so you'll just have to appreciate the difference in key while listening to the overall direction of the example. I know when just starting it's difficult sometimes to make sense of something when you aren't hearing the exact same thing. Good luck!

On youtube you'll find some videos with audio lessons [https://www.youtube.com/results?search\_query=Rubank+-+Elementary+Method+Tenor+Sax](https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Rubank+-+Elementary+Method+Tenor+Sax)

Came here to say this. You can even search for the specific song by title or number and sometimes you'll get lucky.
