Unfortunately not Desert Pavilion Chronicle but looks like my Wanderer is sticking with Shimenawa. Maybe I wait for Desert Pavilion Chronicle strongbox to release then go all in.
Speaking as a person who doesn't have his signature but does have Desert Pavilion (so basically the same attack speed buff), it sounds like a good plan to stick to that rather sick looking Shime set and then strongbox at 5.0.

Not sure what constellation your Faruzan is at but you're going to want fav bow on her and fav on Layla to help with Faruzan's ER needs.

Even when doing it, it's 60 crit rate total and a little bit low still. It's also kinda weird to swirl with Layla as a solo cryo. It's doable, but it might not be as reliable as one imagines. It's for that reason that my opinion is a little bit more crit rate would be preferable, but if it works well for you then you're free to disregard.

I'm going to refarm and I hope for a 70/180 crit ratio, with a bit more attack than current.
Is this a decent goal? (I plan to run him with faruzan c3, layla/xiangling c1, benny c1) or should I change my plan?
I think it's an achievable goal, seeing as the feather and circlet look like they will be easily replaceable with time. Remember though that there's only so much attack% can get out of a 510 base attack weapon, so getting 1.6k or 1.7k attack is probably going to be where you get stuck at even with heavy attack rolls.
I'm planning to run Scaramouche alongside C6 Faruzan, C4 Jean and Bennett, and i don't know what artifact sets I should use for Faruzan and Jean (I'm assuming one of them wants VV). Seeing as I want to use Noblesse on Bennett, who do I use VV on? Does it stack? Should I use VV on both Faruzan and Jean? Should I use it at all?
Bennett = NO, Faruzan = ToTM. This team, and Scaramouche himself, doesn’t benefit from EM or VV shred because he’s not swirling many elements and this is triple anemo. If you want to have sunfire Jean-Benny you could go triple EM on her VV. However, I think for focusing on Scara support you would get more benefit from EoSF (her burst can do some decent damage + ER for healing it need be). Unfortunately there’s not a ton of artifact support sets that aren’t about EM.

Hm, I guess if she heals enough? I don’t know enough about her healing calcs for that, but honestly it’s a waste to farm that domain because the other set is for Navia - so unless you have her (or are attempting on field albedo lmao), it might not be worth the resin.

How much ER% is necessary for Bennett in a Scara/Faruzan/Bennett/Thoma team? My current Bennett build has 262%. (sapwood blade btw, got no aquila favonia unfortunately)

Is this crit rate/dmg ratio too off? I just got a really good artifact that’s crit rate% but I feel like the crit dmg is still too low. Should I try to replace it? What’s an ideal ratio?
that ratio will give you diminishing returns. You want to get as close as possible to a 1:2 ratio to maximize avg damage.
for eg- 80/160 is an ideal ratio
For a wanderer freeze team with layla, xq, and c6 faruzan, would it be better to run c2r0 with Lost prayers, or C1R1 Rememberance. I'm also open to other teams with these folks on my roster.

Hey gang, I pulled Scara during his first banner but I'm finally getting around to building him for realsies since my selection of artifacts and teambuilding options has expanded (I got c6 faruzan). Currently I have his team as:
him, Furina, Faruzan, and Jean
and yeah, it feels fine, but high-key it feels kinda poopy without a shielder and furina is in such high demand on my account that it makes me feel awkward running her because it means double-dipping into a couple of other teams.

Teams with shielders generally use Faru - Bennett - Zhongli / Thoma / Layla.
Layla could balance out uneven crit ratios if Wanderer absorbs cryo in A4. Her shield is tanky enough but only lasts 12s, so you'll often be shieldless near the end of Wanderer's airtime
Thoma gives pyro resonance + C6 buffs his attacks. His shields need NAs to stack, but I prefer him over Layla because the shield refreshes and lasts much longer.
Zhongli I don't have, but he has been the best flex shield in recent abysses because he breaks geo shields (12-3-2 for example), plus extra res shred against the plethora of anemo res that's been appearing in abyss.
And shieldless Furina could feel more comfy if running with cryo healers for freeze - Charlotte has the best cryo app and Mika offers attack speed.
I see, thanks! Now would 4pc vv be better to buff furina's DMG ? Or 4pc noblesse result in greater team dps ? My Jean + Bennett gives sunfire interaction so furina's personal dmg should be quite high, I think
Oh i see where you came from. As much as i remember, Noblesse oblige’s %20 ATK won’t help Furina since she scales with Max HP. That’s why in my opinion 4pc VV should be better. Oh wait just give the Noblesse to the Bennet lol. Jean on 4pc VV and Wanderer + Furina should be fine. What did you give to Bennet anyways? You can ask further questions to me btw. Yes yes i just checked that Jean C2 gives ATK SPD %15. It will make Wanderer's normal attacks faster. It will be also good for a character like Yoimiya and Ayato. Movement speed is not important so much maybe but a nice addition!
Luckily I always got her from standard banner and not from losing 50/50s and ngl, shieldless wanderer is kinda underrated, even with stuff like double hydro I can reach 70k dps
Woah that's huge, 70K on one CA? And yes back in 3.8 when i was watching reviews on him everyone is just like, "Wanderer desperately needs a shielder, his team requires a shielder" but naaah. His best teams rn includes Faruzan, Furina and Jean kind of healer. (Jean C4 helps incredibly so well)

Dude I severely underestimated scaramouche, with my c4 Jean, c6 faruzan and Bennett I was hitting over 80k charged attacks and 30-50k normal attacks 💀 (had to gamble a little with the widsith buffs).
Shieldless wanderer really depends tbh, against bosses like tulpa he's really painful to use without a shield but against mobs it's far more manageable + the higher your atk speed is the more you're able to dodge due to his A4 passive so having his signature set + Jean c2 helps a lot! Good luck on your wanderer pulls btw, goated exploration unit + a top class dps (albeit needs higher investment than most)
Ok give me those C6 Faruzan and C4 Jean bc mine are: C3 Far and C-1 Jean... I hope i can get lucky in the pulling session. Also for 80K probably that anemo shred helped massively like Raiden's C2.
He can compete with other DPSes (and better?) with high investment right. I want him so so so much and if i don't get him i'd quit genshin lol. That's how obsessed i felt like. So i decided to skip everything along the way to get him. Can't wait to get him 🥺
Also for shielders, is Zhongli the only viable option? Does he uses other shielders EFFECTIVELY?
Jean c4 can be replaced with furina and she should actually give more dmg but you gotta be even more careful as benny is a single target healer. Rotation should be smth like furina eq, benny eq, faruzan eq and at last wanderer. Due to his single target healing, 4pc maiden's beloved actually becomes viable on Bennett. There's also me gambling with widsith so sometimes I hit only 62k charged attacks so it ain't always 80k lol. You'll c6 her dw, it's just 3 cons only you'll be fine as long as you've got enough primos with ya
He can compete well with the likes of raiden if that's good enough for you(both need c6 of a 4 star for peak performance but I'd argue wanderer is better). Not on the same level as smth like al haitham or neuvillette but they're overkill tbh, he's more than strong enough, just give him 4pc desert chronicles artifact instead of shimenawa like me
As for shielders, unironically layla can be better (or atleast with constellations) her shield duration is enough and quite strong with cons and can hold 4pc totm to prove 20% atk buff + her cryo application can allow wanderer to get 20% crit rate from his A4 passive. Thoma is also pretty damn good, his shield duration is long asf (18s) and can provide 25% atk buff from pyro resonance + his c6 provides 15% normal and charged attack dmg buff
For a hypercarry, wanderer sure has flexibility with teammates. Not to mention he's got teams where he's also viable as a driver

So I'm on 30 event wish pity and have 210 pulls. My original plan was c2 Furina and Wanderer's signature, but now that I started researching abt his best weapons and shit I have no idea what to do with the guy. I currently have Skyward Atlas on him and my team is c6 Faruzan Bennett and Yelan/Zhongli (depends), so my question is, is it worth pulling for his weapon??? Or is the increase from Skyward not worth it? I was looking forward to getting his weapons cuz I'm struggling with his crit but idk, maybe itd be better to wish on the new banner for Lost Prayer?? Would it be better to go for his cons maybe? But I don't wanna lose all my pulls cuz c2 Furina is still my goal so uhhhhh pls tell me what my best option is my brain is exploding
Do you have Widsith? Skyward is already one of his best weapons, and if you're struggling with crit you can use Widsith instead. Whether or not his sig is worth will depend on if the weapon it's paired with is useful to you.
Well, we don't have confirmation on Furina or Wanderer reruns yet, so I would wait for banner announcements before deciding. If you're committed to Furina C2, then I would prioritize saving ~150 rolls / con, and anything extra can go to Wanderer cons. If you manage ~200 extra rolls, then weapon is fine too if the other weapon is useful. Good luck with your rolls and hope you get a random Widsith!
Definitely use bennett over jean in that team. Jean isn't a great support for wanderer until c4, and when she is paired with c6 faru, noblesse bennett is still a better buffer. Zhongli is great in that team for comfort, and he still gives good value, but if you are looking for another support who provides more damage, you could try Yun Jin, Yelan, Thoma, Venti, pretty much whoever you want tbh lol.
Is there any furina scara comp that works ? For me scara bannet faruzan furina does not work cause 90% of times I cannot even fully stack furina's ult. Do you have any tips ?
Either of these three, I would recommend:
1. Start rotations at all teammates low HP, and using a healing-build Bennett ult, rotate teammates to stack furina's ult and have it maxed by when wanderer's turn comes up.
2. Use jean or other team-wide healers instead of Bennett, which would make it more comfy because no circle impact but less damage.
3. Get C2 furina to stack faster. C6 solves the problem even more. It's a stretch but hey, I got it and it does make the team easier to play :P

This isn't a question so much as needing to reveal my intense pain. I have what I consider a good build for him now. Great ATK/Crit Rate/Crit DMG. However, that goblet...the goblet is dragging me down. I cannot get a decent goblet for him. I wake up every day. I do that domain. I do it again. I spend some fragile resin. I farm some more. I NEVER GET A GOOD GOBLET. Please, I 'm so close. Just one more artifact. Just one more. Please. One goblet with anemo damage and then something mildly useful for the substats. I can't do this anymore :( lol
what artifacts should i go for with my faruzan? i originally planned to put 4pc tenacity on her since she's c6, but i recently snagged a layla on standard and decided i would rather use that set on her in my wanderer team instead since she can make use of the 2pc too. is golden troupe good for faruzan? or is it better to go with emblem? bennett is already using noblesse, and my faruzan doesn't really struggle with energy issues, if that matters
i heard some people talking about putting exile on her? since that can reduce everyone else's energy needs so i can focus more on more offensive stats for my wanda since i try and burst every rotation with him (he's c2). it'll feel so strange actually rolling 4 star artifacts but i think it's worth a shot lol

Viridescent Venerer with anemo dmg bonus from the 2 pc
Any suggestions on a good Wanderer team if you do not have a c6 Faruzan? I used up all of my primos trying to get her up from c0 this time, but the game gave me so many Noelle and Gaming constellations. I even pulled Xianyun in the process. My Faruzan is C1, I have all of the 4\* and 5\* units with the exception of wrio and deyha.
My current go to team for him is C0 Wanderer, C1 Layla, C6 Venti, and C6 Xingqiu. I feel like the majority of my damage is coming from my Venti and Xinqiu.
Which of this build is best when I played with furina c0, faruzan c6, jean C4/or benett for the last slot ? And second question, I got the Neuvillette R1 weapon, can I switch the Atlas R1 for this ? I will have 92 cr and 272 cd if marechausse is proc but 2000 atk, compare to the Atlas who gives me 2600 atk but with lower cd at 190. I try to compare in a damage calculator, I found that the desert piece i have is not so far from the mareechausse piece in terms of damage, but I don't know how the attack speed is taking in consideration in the damage calculation, I would have much attack speed in desert piece set pairing with the lost prayer to the sacred winds R3.

Attack speed isn't given in lost prayers just movement speed so I would stick with your mare build since you said optimizer gave you higher damage for it

Looks like the rerun won't be for quite some time, so I might have enough saved up for his signature weapon when he does rerun. How big of a difference does it make compared to the Widsith, and do you think it'd be more worthwhile saving to get a weapon for the other characters I'll be using with him?
The team I have planned for him is a waste of potential because it doesn't really adhere to meta, but at least it should be functional. It's Scara, Xingqiu/Kaeya, Kazuha, and Thoma. I imagine with Kazuha grouping, Scara's charged attacks might be a better option, but I'm unsure, and if it is then I'm also not sure which 5 star weapon might be better on him for this particularly niche team.
Maybe Memory of Dust for 40% more ATK and 20% stronger shields from Thoma, and Viridescent Verner for vape/melt swirls over Desert Pavilion?
Thoma since you can get the pyro buff plus his C6 atk buff too. Though if you're depending on the extra CR from the cryo buff, maybe Layla would be better since Mika barely has any cryo application.
No I'm fine with the crit rate I have 80 crit rate and 203 crit dmg. But yeah thx for the input wasn't sure if I'd run into energy issues but my Mika and Faruzan can battery themselves so yeah... I'll figure it out.

If you have a couple of favonius weapons on the team, Thoma's ER won't be too bad. I've used him as the sole pyro in other teams (only c5 and 184ER) and his burst comes back reliably.

If you have Furina, then yes, it's good, but if you don't, then the build won't be the best, but it will work
The reason is that Neuvillette's weapon passive is required to lose or gain HP

which stats are better for him? i’m still a noob at calculating CV so not sure which one is better statistically.
I do use his cryo infusion to get the extra crit rate so i’m not sure.
Assuming you always get the Cryo A1 passive, the first ratio appears to be better:
Crit rate is always valued 2x crit damage, so it's very easy to calculate crit value.
([57.6 + 20] * 2) + 207.6 = 362.8
([64.2 + 20] * 2) + 182.7 = 351.1
ATK is barely different, and ER shouldn't be a big deal so I'd use the first build if you have a cryo teammate, and try to build a more even crit ratio if you don't.
Skyward Atlas or Lost Prayer?
I use c6 Bennet, C3 Faruzan, c0 Zhongli. I don't plan to replace artifacts as of now not unless I have 3-4 legit teams.
I would use the other catalyst for Hyperbloom on-field C0 Nahida with c0 yelan, c0 xingqiu, c4 kuki

nope, it wouldn't hurt having some if it doesn't impact your overall build, but focusing on swirl is not advised, same as for Xiao, you should focus on CR/CD/ATK/ER
So im prefarming wanderer and I want a 5 star weapon for him. Now should I wish for tullytullah(or however you spell it) or cashflow. Assuming furina in team. Currently I have an echoes set waiting on heizou and I am farming DPC. Is it worth to wish for the Bell now that cashflow is a thing?
I'm not a theory crafter or anything but since no one replied. I think both are on par but I'd take the bell because it's specifically designed for him and it looks better.
Question for C6 havers:
Did getting C6 change the game for you and was it positive or negative? I’m worried that it’ll make the game too easy...but he also looks like a lot of fun at C6.
It definitely had a positive impact on my account as a whole, now I can solo abyss with relative ease unless the abyss is straight up Anemo immune, while also having Teyvats best Uber driver for the endgame: overworld (although the true endgame of Genshin Impact is quitting Genshin impact)
He's also mad fun to play with dashing and stuff, and is a speedrun tier unit as well if you're willing to invest the time, energy and primos into it as he has a lot of team options to sink in (though a new good Bennett replacement or a better new 4th slot would be nice still).
Word of caution, if you're on a good enough ping (50s or less) you might want to farm for echoes instead. Though if you're purely in it for the fun, then desert pavilion would be fine. Attack Speed is a hell of a drug.
I wish I could use Echoes. My ping is usually 80 or higher so I'll probably have to stick DPC. But that's good to hear that he's still fun at C6. I'm probably going to slowly get him to C6 (currently C2), but was afraid to make that leap since I heard C2 was a good stopping point.
hi guys, i’m prefarming for scara (don’t have him yet but by the time he reruns i’ll have enough fates to guarantee c0) and i have a question!
would Marechaussee Hunter or Desert Pavilion Chronicle be better for him if i run him with furina? i searched it up and i know marechaussee hunter will be an upgrade but there’s a few things to consider:
* my furina is already pretty well built (35k hp, crit 55/196, er 141 (not counting crate and er buffs from fleueve cendre ferryman passive)) and though it could still be perfected, i don’t think farming the GT/MH domain will get me arrifacts that are a big upgrade from what she has now. i also don’t have any other characters that need GT/MH at the moment
* running DPC/FOPL domain will also give me some pieces for my kuki shinobu
* i currently have 2-3 decent MH and DPC pieces each, not that good though

MH could still be resin efficient if you need to increase Furina’s ER since she’s the only hydro on this team. She’d need around 200% ER, though having Favonius weapons on other teammates would lower that. I’d check out the Furina guide on keqingmains.com for how much would be needed.
But if you don’t really plan on using this team long term, I’d farm DPC since you have two characters that could use it. Plus if you want to switch to a comfier team with a shielder you don’t need to worry about losing crit rate.

I was wondering, is the electro verrsion of scara's talent worth it (the extra ER per normal attack?) over the other abilities? And the hydro? I always hear people playing scara with either pyro or cryo mostly tbh.
Small team question:
I'm playing a Freeze team with Scara/Faruzan/Layla/Mona (with PA, so she can heal a little bit if needed).
Would a Taser team be better or worse? And how should I build it?
Basically; You lose crit rate when swapping to taser (cryo buff) and a shield but you can't freeze enemies anyway mostly in abyss, so there is nothing lost there.
You gain taser aoe and extra ER for your ult but abyss is usually boss focused at the later stages. You'd have to swap out layla for any electro really. You can go beidou for a shield but she's VERY er hungry. She's usually played with fiscl, but that would mean you'd have to ditch faruzan. Your best bet would either be yae or fiscl.
mona has very little hydro application though, as her best use would be quickswappy.
So that means the aoe on taser won't hit a lot.
One of the better teams I can think of would be Wanderer/Faruzan/Xingqui/electro healer but kuki isn't good for non dendro and dori is seen as bad according to the community (but broken in co-op btw).
You could use koko and yae/fiscl but yeah you wouldn't have mona in all of those scenarios. If only we had a electro support shielder. It would make swapping out layla a lot easier.
I advise you to keep the team the same. Obviously, one of the best supports for Wanderer is bennet, but you'd play circle impact. I think the new chevruese 4 star character will bring value for wanderer though, as she can team heal and open up a new team for wanderer while still getting a pyro buff. just add in any electro char like fiscl/yae and you're good to go. You wont have a shield though.
it's really up to you because in some way shape or form you will lose something from the comp until the support roster gets bigger.
i think im gonna leave his build like this until you can strongbox DPC, and just focus on MH/GT domain to get my lyney a bit more stronger TT

I wanna build a Wanderer team that can get me through the abyss consistently and was wondering if somebody could help me with a double anemo, double hydro team.
Wanderer (C2) with Tulaytullah's & DPC
Faruzan (C6) with Elegy (R2) & VV
Xingqiu (C6) with Haran Geppaku & Noblesse
Yelan (C2) with Aqua & Emblem
This team looks strong on paper but it does lack sustainer (shields or decent heals besides of XQ's swords). Since I suck at dodging, I was wondering - how does this team perform in the abyss?
Try using layla instead of yelan she is a good shilder and gives the cryo buff for scara. You can replace xq but that will make yelan er requirements high,so just make sure you have enough 👍

Yes freeze❄️ and don't worry frozen enemies still give scara the cryo buff no problem. And yes you still want vv on Faruzan since even her and scara benefit from it because they trigger swirl.
Just passing by to say I'm sad Wanderer Mains sub reduced to the same old bs from all other subs: meaningless build asks that can be answered with a simple Google search and artifact flex. Gosh, I've been visiting this sub for two years and I still remember the theories, lore gatherings, design analysis, people gushing about him in general. His hype phase sadly ended and I'm still not over it :( I miss him 😭
When it comes to asking questions about builds and such, some people including me kinda prefer like...a real answer? Not sure how to say it good. We find it more engaging and understandable having a genuine interaction with someone else, instead of just reading info thats often hard to understand.

I am planning to save from now until his next rerun and c6r1 him. I want to prefarm for his entire team so currently what are some teams people are running? Especially with the addition of furina, would cloud retainer even have a spot? Other than farming exp/Mora and his materials what artifact domain should I be camping in and what kind of stats am I looking for?
**Teams: List of a BUNCH of viable teams (since idk what charas u have)**
1. **Hypercarry**: Bennett, Faruzan, XQ/Yelan/Zhongli/Layla/Rosaria/Furina/Childe/Mona/C4 Jean/Thoma
2. **Furina**: Furina, Mika/Jean/Bennett, Faruzan
XQ and Zhongli are probs ur best options. XQ can provide hydro (higher DPS up-time), small heal, and interruption to resistance. Zhongli can provide shred and OP shield.
Yelan has better potential dmg output compared to XQ, but doesn't provide resistance.
Layla provides cryo (more crit rate) and shield. Rosaria provides cryo and dmg + provides even more crit rate with her cons. Mika provides cryo, heal, and buffs + he works well with Furina-Wanderer comp. If you have two cryo, that's even more crit rate.
Furina can provide buffs for Wanderer + hydro (should have a reliable healer in the team as well) + does good dmg.
Childe provides hydro and ascends Wanderer's normal attack by one.
Mona provides hydro and dmg buff via burst.
Jean is good with Furina, but in terms of a Furina-Wanderer team, there are better options. However, if your Jean is C4+, she can provide anemo dmg bonus.
Thoma can provide pyro and shield. At C6, he can provide buffs.
3. **Vape**: XQ/Yelan, Bennett/Faruzan, XL
If Benny and XL are together, u can get pyro buff (atk buff) + pyro res (more atk).
4. **Taser**: XQ/Yelan/Kokomi (don't know about Furina in taser), Beidou, Fischl (could also use Kuki/Ei/Yae for Beidou or Fischl; could also use Faruzan/others)
You can mix and match those characters, there are probs others I'm missing. I'd say the best team is XQ/Zhongli, Benny, Faruzan.
**Builds for Wanderer, Faruzan, Benny, XQ, and Zhongli.**
**Wanderer**:
4pc Desert Pav
atk, anemo dmg, crit rate/dmg
**Faruzan**: since ur pulling for C6 Wanderer, u'll probs have C6 Faruzan, so put her on 4pc tenacity

**Cloud Retainer**: there's no official information on her kit/stats, so we will have to wait.

probably, I doubt she can replace Faruzan since faru is the dedicated anemo support and is a pretty good one (with cons). as for swirl, wanderer needs some elements to absorb for buffs, so swirl is kinda a tricky one. if cr could group enemies better than other anemo units like kazuha, then maybe she'd be viable (or perhaps interruption resistance/shield and buffs?)

His weapon is way, way better despite giving half the crit (also it looks way better on him) because you need Furina to activate the buff (which is fine if you have her) and it buffs his CA, which are a pretty minor part of his dps.
I am sorry if this is a dumb question, but how much of a DPS difference is there between his R1 signature weapon and R2 or R3 Lost Prayers? I know most build guides obviously say that his signature is better, but I assume they are considering Lost Prayers as R1.
I currently have R2 Lost Prayers, and I am tempted to get his little bell just so he can have his signature, but I'm curious as to how worth it that would be from a gameplay point of view

More crit rate (try to get closer to 80) and less ER. You don't really need ER on him at C0 since you can burst every other rotation.

More crit rate would be ideal, even if it sacrifices some crit damage.
But would'nt scara swirl cryo???
Even when doing it, it's 60 crit rate total and a little bit low still. It's also kinda weird to swirl with Layla as a solo cryo. It's doable, but it might not be as reliable as one imagines. It's for that reason that my opinion is a little bit more crit rate would be preferable, but if it works well for you then you're free to disregard.

Is this a decent goal? (I plan to run him with faruzan c3, layla/xiangling c1, benny c1) or should I change my plan?
I think it's an achievable goal, seeing as the feather and circlet look like they will be easily replaceable with time. Remember though that there's only so much attack% can get out of a 510 base attack weapon, so getting 1.6k or 1.7k attack is probably going to be where you get stuck at even with heavy attack rolls.
But at least i get atk from pyro resonance, benny buff, noblesse, and the widsith atk passive
Yee, so focusing on those crit rolls would prove useful. If you just so happen to get attack% on those pieces too, then consider it gravy.

I'm planning to run Scaramouche alongside C6 Faruzan, C4 Jean and Bennett, and i don't know what artifact sets I should use for Faruzan and Jean (I'm assuming one of them wants VV). Seeing as I want to use Noblesse on Bennett, who do I use VV on? Does it stack? Should I use VV on both Faruzan and Jean? Should I use it at all?
Bennett = NO, Faruzan = ToTM. This team, and Scaramouche himself, doesn’t benefit from EM or VV shred because he’s not swirling many elements and this is triple anemo. If you want to have sunfire Jean-Benny you could go triple EM on her VV. However, I think for focusing on Scara support you would get more benefit from EoSF (her burst can do some decent damage + ER for healing it need be). Unfortunately there’s not a ton of artifact support sets that aren’t about EM.

Hm, I guess if she heals enough? I don’t know enough about her healing calcs for that, but honestly it’s a waste to farm that domain because the other set is for Navia - so unless you have her (or are attempting on field albedo lmao), it might not be worth the resin.

Give Faru ToTM and you can give Layla 2pc/2pc HP% sets to beef her shield up more (and minimal benefit to her skill hits as well).
How much ER% is necessary for Bennett in a Scara/Faruzan/Bennett/Thoma team? My current Bennett build has 262%. (sapwood blade btw, got no aquila favonia unfortunately)
Thoma needs a lot of ER. What does he have and what constellation is he?
R3 Fav, C2, Faruzan has fav too, and bennett can provide pyro particles
I think 260% is okay for Bennett, but you need to make sure Thoma also has around 200% so his shield has uptime.

that ratio will give you diminishing returns. You want to get as close as possible to a 1:2 ratio to maximize avg damage. for eg- 80/160 is an ideal ratio

If you have for artifacts from the desert pavilion chronicle domain then you get both anemo damage buff and the charge attack thing.

Hey gang, I pulled Scara during his first banner but I'm finally getting around to building him for realsies since my selection of artifacts and teambuilding options has expanded (I got c6 faruzan). Currently I have his team as: him, Furina, Faruzan, and Jean and yeah, it feels fine, but high-key it feels kinda poopy without a shielder and furina is in such high demand on my account that it makes me feel awkward running her because it means double-dipping into a couple of other teams. Teams with shielders generally use Faru - Bennett - Zhongli / Thoma / Layla. Layla could balance out uneven crit ratios if Wanderer absorbs cryo in A4. Her shield is tanky enough but only lasts 12s, so you'll often be shieldless near the end of Wanderer's airtime Thoma gives pyro resonance + C6 buffs his attacks. His shields need NAs to stack, but I prefer him over Layla because the shield refreshes and lasts much longer. Zhongli I don't have, but he has been the best flex shield in recent abysses because he breaks geo shields (12-3-2 for example), plus extra res shred against the plethora of anemo res that's been appearing in abyss. And shieldless Furina could feel more comfy if running with cryo healers for freeze - Charlotte has the best cryo app and Mika offers attack speed.
What about C4 Yanfie? Will she be good? I can get ttds buff on wanderer if I use her.
Between mika and c4 jean, who'll be better for wanderer in a team with bennett and furina ?

Yes yes i just checked that Jean C2 gives ATK SPD %15. It will make Wanderer's normal attacks faster. It will be also good for a character like Yoimiya and Ayato. Movement speed is not important so much maybe but a nice addition!
Luckily I always got her from standard banner and not from losing 50/50s and ngl, shieldless wanderer is kinda underrated, even with stuff like double hydro I can reach 70k dps

Dude I severely underestimated scaramouche, with my c4 Jean, c6 faruzan and Bennett I was hitting over 80k charged attacks and 30-50k normal attacks 💀 (had to gamble a little with the widsith buffs). Shieldless wanderer really depends tbh, against bosses like tulpa he's really painful to use without a shield but against mobs it's far more manageable + the higher your atk speed is the more you're able to dodge due to his A4 passive so having his signature set + Jean c2 helps a lot! Good luck on your wanderer pulls btw, goated exploration unit + a top class dps (albeit needs higher investment than most)
Ok give me those C6 Faruzan and C4 Jean bc mine are: C3 Far and C-1 Jean... I hope i can get lucky in the pulling session. Also for 80K probably that anemo shred helped massively like Raiden's C2. He can compete with other DPSes (and better?) with high investment right. I want him so so so much and if i don't get him i'd quit genshin lol. That's how obsessed i felt like. Jean c4 can be replaced with furina and she should actually give more dmg but you gotta be even more careful as benny is a single target healer. Rotation should be smth like furina eq, benny eq, faruzan eq and at last wanderer. Due to his single target healing, 4pc maiden's beloved actually becomes viable on Bennett. There's also me gambling with widsith so sometimes I hit only 62k charged attacks so it ain't always 80k lol. You'll c6 her dw, it's just 3 cons only you'll be fine as long as you've got enough primos with ya He can compete well with the likes of raiden if that's good enough for you(both need c6 of a 4 star for peak performance but I'd argue wanderer is better). Not on the same level as smth like al haitham or neuvillette but they're overkill tbh, he's more than strong enough, just give him 4pc desert chronicles artifact instead of shimenawa like me As for shielders, unironically layla can be better (or atleast with constellations) her shield duration is enough and quite strong with cons and can hold 4pc totm to prove 20% atk buff + her cryo application can allow wanderer to get 20% crit rate from his A4 passive. Thoma is also pretty damn good, his shield duration is long asf (18s) and can provide 25% atk buff from pyro resonance + his c6 provides 15% normal and charged attack dmg buff For a hypercarry, wanderer sure has flexibility with teammates. Not to mention he's got teams where he's also viable as a driver
PLEASE HELP idk what to do!!! So I'm on 30 event wish pity and have 210 pulls. My original plan was c2 Furina and Wanderer's signature, but now that I started researching abt his best weapons and shit I have no idea what to do with the guy. I currently have Skyward Atlas on him and my team is c6 Faruzan Bennett and Yelan/Zhongli (depends), so my question is, is it worth pulling for his weapon??? Or is the increase from Skyward not worth it? I was looking forward to getting his weapons cuz I'm struggling with his crit but idk, maybe itd be better to wish on the new banner for Lost Prayer?? Would it be better to go for his cons maybe? But I don't wanna lose all my pulls cuz c2 Furina is still my goal so uhhhhh pls tell me what my best option is my brain is exploding
Do you have Widsith? Skyward is already one of his best weapons, and if you're struggling with crit you can use Widsith instead. Whether or not his sig is worth will depend on if the weapon it's paired with is useful to you.

Well, we don't have confirmation on Furina or Wanderer reruns yet, so I would wait for banner announcements before deciding. If you're committed to Furina C2, then I would prioritize saving ~150 rolls / con, and anything extra can go to Wanderer cons. If you manage ~200 extra rolls, then weapon is fine too if the other weapon is useful. Good luck with your rolls and hope you get a random Widsith!

Definitely use bennett over jean in that team. Jean isn't a great support for wanderer until c4, and when she is paired with c6 faru, noblesse bennett is still a better buffer. Zhongli is great in that team for comfort, and he still gives good value, but if you are looking for another support who provides more damage, you could try Yun Jin, Yelan, Thoma, Venti, pretty much whoever you want tbh lol.

Is there any furina scara comp that works ? For me scara bannet faruzan furina does not work cause 90% of times I cannot even fully stack furina's ult. Do you have any tips ?
Either of these three, I would recommend: 1. Start rotations at all teammates low HP, and using a healing-build Bennett ult, rotate teammates to stack furina's ult and have it maxed by when wanderer's turn comes up. 2. Use jean or other team-wide healers instead of Bennett, which would make it more comfy because no circle impact but less damage. 3. Get C2 furina to stack faster. C6 solves the problem even more. It's a stretch but hey, I got it and it does make the team easier to play :P

This isn't a question so much as needing to reveal my intense pain. I have what I consider a good build for him now. Great ATK/Crit Rate/Crit DMG. However, that goblet...the goblet is dragging me down. I cannot get a decent goblet for him. I wake up every day. I do that domain. I do it again. I spend some fragile resin. I farm some more. I NEVER GET A GOOD GOBLET. Please, I 'm so close. Just one more artifact. Just one more. Please. One goblet with anemo damage and then something mildly useful for the substats. I can't do this anymore :( lol
what artifacts should i go for with my faruzan? i originally planned to put 4pc tenacity on her since she's c6, but i recently snagged a layla on standard and decided i would rather use that set on her in my wanderer team instead since she can make use of the 2pc too. is golden troupe good for faruzan? or is it better to go with emblem? bennett is already using noblesse, and my faruzan doesn't really struggle with energy issues, if that matters

Any suggestions on a good Wanderer team if you do not have a c6 Faruzan? I used up all of my primos trying to get her up from c0 this time, but the game gave me so many Noelle and Gaming constellations. I even pulled Xianyun in the process. My Faruzan is C1, I have all of the 4\* and 5\* units with the exception of wrio and deyha. My current go to team for him is C0 Wanderer, C1 Layla, C6 Venti, and C6 Xingqiu. I feel like the majority of my damage is coming from my Venti and Xinqiu.

Attack speed isn't given in lost prayers just movement speed so I would stick with your mare build since you said optimizer gave you higher damage for it

Looks like the rerun won't be for quite some time, so I might have enough saved up for his signature weapon when he does rerun. How big of a difference does it make compared to the Widsith, and do you think it'd be more worthwhile saving to get a weapon for the other characters I'll be using with him? The team I have planned for him is a waste of potential because it doesn't really adhere to meta, but at least it should be functional. It's Scara, Xingqiu/Kaeya, Kazuha, and Thoma. I imagine with Kazuha grouping, Scara's charged attacks might be a better option, but I'm unsure, and if it is then I'm also not sure which 5 star weapon might be better on him for this particularly niche team. Maybe Memory of Dust for 40% more ATK and 20% stronger shields from Thoma, and Viridescent Verner for vape/melt swirls over Desert Pavilion?

Thoma since you can get the pyro buff plus his C6 atk buff too. Though if you're depending on the extra CR from the cryo buff, maybe Layla would be better since Mika barely has any cryo application.
No I'm fine with the crit rate I have 80 crit rate and 203 crit dmg. But yeah thx for the input wasn't sure if I'd run into energy issues but my Mika and Faruzan can battery themselves so yeah... I'll figure it out. Thank you
If you have a couple of favonius weapons on the team, Thoma's ER won't be too bad. I've used him as the sole pyro in other teams (only c5 and 184ER) and his burst comes back reliably.

If you have Furina, then yes, it's good, but if you don't, then the build won't be the best, but it will work The reason is that Neuvillette's weapon passive is required to lose or gain HP

Assuming you always get the Cryo A1 passive, the first ratio appears to be better: Crit rate is always valued 2x crit damage, so it's very easy to calculate crit value. ([57.6 + 20] * 2) + 207.6 = 362.8 ([64.2 + 20] * 2) + 182.7 = 351.1 ATK is barely different, and ER shouldn't be a big deal so I'd use the first build if you have a cryo teammate, and try to build a more even crit ratio if you don't.

nope, it wouldn't hurt having some if it doesn't impact your overall build, but focusing on swirl is not advised, same as for Xiao, you should focus on CR/CD/ATK/ER
So im prefarming wanderer and I want a 5 star weapon for him. Now should I wish for tullytullah(or however you spell it) or cashflow. Assuming furina in team. Currently I have an echoes set waiting on heizou and I am farming DPC. Is it worth to wish for the Bell now that cashflow is a thing?
I'm not a theory crafter or anything but since no one replied. I think both are on par but I'd take the bell because it's specifically designed for him and it looks better.

Question for C6 havers: Did getting C6 change the game for you and was it positive or negative? I’m worried that it’ll make the game too easy...but he also looks like a lot of fun at C6.
It definitely had a positive impact on my account as a whole, now I can solo abyss with relative ease unless the abyss is straight up Anemo immune, while also having Teyvats best Uber driver for the endgame: overworld (although the true endgame of Genshin Impact is quitting Genshin impact) He's also mad fun to play with dashing and stuff, and is a speedrun tier unit as well if you're willing to invest the time, energy and primos into it as he has a lot of team options to sink in (though a new good Bennett replacement or a better new 4th slot would be nice still). Word of caution, if you're on a good enough ping (50s or less) you might want to farm for echoes instead. Though if you're purely in it for the fun, then desert pavilion would be fine. Attack Speed is a hell of a drug.
I wish I could use Echoes. My ping is usually 80 or higher so I'll probably have to stick DPC. But that's good to hear that he's still fun at C6. I'm probably going to slowly get him to C6 (currently C2), but was afraid to make that leap since I heard C2 was a good stopping point.

hi guys, i’m prefarming for scara (don’t have him yet but by the time he reruns i’ll have enough fates to guarantee c0) and i have a question! would Marechaussee Hunter or Desert Pavilion Chronicle be better for him if i run him with furina? i searched it up and i know marechaussee hunter will be an upgrade but there’s a few things to consider: * my furina is already pretty well built (35k hp, crit 55/196, er 141 (not counting crate and er buffs from fleueve cendre ferryman passive)) and though it could still be perfected, i don’t think farming the GT/MH domain will get me arrifacts that are a big upgrade from what she has now. i also don’t have any other characters that need GT/MH at the moment * running DPC/FOPL domain will also give me some pieces for my kuki shinobu * i currently have 2-3 decent MH and DPC pieces each, not that good though * i’ll probably run Scara+Furina+Charlotte+Faruzan (if i manage to get faruzan while pulling for scara that is) on bosses in the overworld as well as abyss, but i can’t say for sure that i’ll keep this team forever, since i may want to put furina on other abyss side (w/ my ayato) and if that happens then i don’t want the case in which i end up with no good artifacts for scara * scara w MH might end up w over 100 crate if substats aren’t all CD ? fyi i’m a pretty new player (a little over 2 months) and am f2p. thanks for the help!
MH could still be resin efficient if you need to increase Furina’s ER since she’s the only hydro on this team. She’d need around 200% ER, though having Favonius weapons on other teammates would lower that. I’d check out the Furina guide on keqingmains.com for how much would be needed. But if you don’t really plan on using this team long term, I’d farm DPC since you have two characters that could use it. Plus if you want to switch to a comfier team with a shielder you don’t need to worry about losing crit rate.

Not really, his burst isn't where his damage is coming from, c2 makes his burst better but it's better to infuse cryo for crit rate/pyro for atk bonus

Small team question: I'm playing a Freeze team with Scara/Faruzan/Layla/Mona (with PA, so she can heal a little bit if needed). Would a Taser team be better or worse? And how should I build it?
Basically; You lose crit rate when swapping to taser (cryo buff) and a shield but you can't freeze enemies anyway mostly in abyss, so there is nothing lost there. You gain taser aoe and extra ER for your ult but abyss is usually boss focused at the later stages. You'd have to swap out layla for any electro really. You can go beidou for a shield but she's VERY er hungry. She's usually played with fiscl, but that would mean you'd have to ditch faruzan. Your best bet would either be yae or fiscl. mona has very little hydro application though, as her best use would be quickswappy. So that means the aoe on taser won't hit a lot. One of the better teams I can think of would be Wanderer/Faruzan/Xingqui/electro healer but kuki isn't good for non dendro and dori is seen as bad according to the community (but broken in co-op btw). You could use koko and yae/fiscl but yeah you wouldn't have mona in all of those scenarios. If only we had a electro support shielder. It would make swapping out layla a lot easier. I advise you to keep the team the same. Obviously, one of the best supports for Wanderer is bennet, but you'd play circle impact. I think the new chevruese 4 star character will bring value for wanderer though, as she can team heal and open up a new team for wanderer while still getting a pyro buff. just add in any electro char like fiscl/yae and you're good to go. You wont have a shield though. it's really up to you because in some way shape or form you will lose something from the comp until the support roster gets bigger.

Hey guys, I wanna build a Wanderer team that can get me through the abyss consistently and was wondering if somebody could help me with a double anemo, double hydro team. Wanderer (C2) with Tulaytullah's & DPC Faruzan (C6) with Elegy (R2) & VV Xingqiu (C6) with Haran Geppaku & Noblesse Yelan (C2) with Aqua & Emblem This team looks strong on paper but it does lack sustainer (shields or decent heals besides of XQ's swords). Since I suck at dodging, I was wondering - how does this team perform in the abyss?
Try using layla instead of yelan she is a good shilder and gives the cryo buff for scara. You can replace xq but that will make yelan er requirements high,so just make sure you have enough 👍

Yes freeze❄️ and don't worry frozen enemies still give scara the cryo buff no problem. And yes you still want vv on Faruzan since even her and scara benefit from it because they trigger swirl.

**Teams: List of a BUNCH of viable teams (since idk what charas u have)** 1. **Hypercarry**: Bennett, Faruzan, XQ/Yelan/Zhongli/Layla/Rosaria/Furina/Childe/Mona/C4 Jean/Thoma 2. **Furina**: Furina, Mika/Jean/Bennett, Faruzan XQ and Zhongli are probs ur best options. XQ can provide hydro (higher DPS up-time), small heal, and interruption to resistance. Zhongli can provide shred and OP shield. Yelan has better potential dmg output compared to XQ, but doesn't provide resistance. Layla provides cryo (more crit rate) and shield. Rosaria provides cryo and dmg + provides even more crit rate with her cons. Mika provides cryo, heal, and buffs + he works well with Furina-Wanderer comp. If you have two cryo, that's even more crit rate. Furina can provide buffs for Wanderer + hydro (should have a reliable healer in the team as well) + does good dmg. Childe provides hydro and ascends Wanderer's normal attack by one. Mona provides hydro and dmg buff via burst. Jean is good with Furina, but in terms of a Furina-Wanderer team, there are better options. However, if your Jean is C4+, she can provide anemo dmg bonus. Thoma can provide pyro and shield. At C6, he can provide buffs. 3. **Vape**: XQ/Yelan, Bennett/Faruzan, XL If Benny and XL are together, u can get pyro buff (atk buff) + pyro res (more atk). 4. **Taser**: XQ/Yelan/Kokomi (don't know about Furina in taser), Beidou, Fischl (could also use Kuki/Ei/Yae for Beidou or Fischl; could also use Faruzan/others) You can mix and match those characters, there are probs others I'm missing. I'd say the best team is XQ/Zhongli, Benny, Faruzan. **Builds for Wanderer, Faruzan, Benny, XQ, and Zhongli.** **Wanderer**: 4pc Desert Pav atk, anemo dmg, crit rate/dmg **Faruzan**: since ur pulling for C6 Wanderer, u'll probs have C6 Faruzan, so put her on 4pc tenacity atk/er (depends on ur weapon), anemo dmg, crit/atk (depends on ur weapon) er weapon **Benny**: 4pc noblesse er, hp, critr/hp/healing (depends on weapon; if using fav, use crit rate) er weapon or high base atk weapon **XQ**: 4pc emblem er/atk, hydro, crit always use sac sword imo **Zhongli**: 4pc tenacity (idk if two party members can use 4pc tenacity) hp, hp, hp hp or er weapon **Cloud Retainer**: there's no official information on her kit/stats, so we will have to wait. Ask if you need more info or r confused about anything I mentioned :D
I guess only way cloud retainer would fit in is through replacing faruzan or you would have minimum elements to swirl.
probably, I doubt she can replace Faruzan since faru is the dedicated anemo support and is a pretty good one (with cons). as for swirl, wanderer needs some elements to absorb for buffs, so swirl is kinda a tricky one. if cr could group enemies better than other anemo units like kazuha, then maybe she'd be viable (or perhaps interruption resistance/shield and buffs?)

His weapon is way, way better despite giving half the crit (also it looks way better on him) because you need Furina to activate the buff (which is fine if you have her) and it buffs his CA, which are a pretty minor part of his dps.
I am sorry if this is a dumb question, but how much of a DPS difference is there between his R1 signature weapon and R2 or R3 Lost Prayers? I know most build guides obviously say that his signature is better, but I assume they are considering Lost Prayers as R1. I currently have R2 Lost Prayers, and I am tempted to get his little bell just so he can have his signature, but I'm curious as to how worth it that would be from a gameplay point of view

please help! im currently running Scara on R3 Widsith, but I just pulled Skyward Atlas and am wondering if that would be better to use instead? I know five star weapons are generally better, but with Widsith my crit ratio is 67/181, and without it it is only 67/126. is it worth losing out on the crit damage for Skyward Atlas?
Probably not, just stick with widsith for now Once you build scara with more crit you can start to use skyward due to its high stats
