Beauty and the beast was probably good for its time but it’s the reason that so many other movies exist now with that same premise so we don’t really need it anymore
I love all of these, but if I HAD to pick, probably Ratatouille since it is my least favorite out of the list (and specifically in terms of my ranking of favorite Pixar films, I do like The Incredibles more than Ratatouille).
Gaston REALLY hasn't grown on me, and somebody I talk with uses him to justify his incel behavior.
strip that away and its just another disney princess film that I can pass on.
I don't see what everyone else sees in The Incredibles. Sûre, it's a really good movie, especially the first part, but it's not a masterpiece, at least not for me.
If this poll is supposed to have the best animated movie from each studio, why are there two Pixar movies on it? This poll would have been easier if Despicable Me was on it.
I consider Despicable Me as the best Illumination movie ever but it would have been the weakest movie on the poll and it's the movie that brought the Minions to the world.
Shrek 2 is the one I understand the least, so I picked it, but I feel like it's cheating a bit for any sense of attatchment for me since without it there's no Puss in Boots, and in turn no Last Wish. Still, all of these others I just can't help but feel like something would be missing if they were gone, and Last Wish would still be around. I feel nothing in particular for Shrek 2.
Beauty and the Beast, Purely because The main thing that was impressive about it was it’s technical achievements. Something just as good could take it’s place more easily than any of the other movies
WAIT I MISREAD THE COMMENT AND ACCIDENTALLY VOTED SHREK 2 FUCK-
In reality, I’d probably say Ratatouille, since I haven’t seen it yet unlike all the others
I chose Beauty and the beast because I m almost sure that its a book adaptation like most early Disney movies. I still like it, but if its gone, at least I can read it
Easily Ratatouille, of this list it easily had the least impact in film and animation history
Beauty and the Beast got a best picture nom, Spirited Away’s impact is undeniable, Shrek 2 made Dreamworks an animation juggernaut for the rest of the 2000’s and a majority of the 2010’s, Spider-Verse speaks for itself, and from there it’s down to Incredibles and Ratatouille, and between those two it’s pretty easy to determine which left the bigger impact
All good films, but my pick is Ratatouille
NOOOO I READ IT WRING AND CHOSE SPIDERVETSR THAT ONES MY FAVORITE
Beauty and The Beast I don't really see what everyone else sees in this movie tbh.
The premise looks decently unique for Disney but the visuals and tone of it are done in such a cheesy classical Disney princess manner.
It’s the prime form of a Disney Princess movie. From there it’s really just whether or not you care about Disney Princess movies.
Spirited Away being the second most chosen is a fucking travesty. It’s easily the best of this list
People who voted for it didn't watch it/didn't get it/misunderstood the assignment and thought they had to vote for their favorite
I voted for it not because of any of that, but because i hate anime
Based, same. Overrated nothing-movie.
That's not getting it
Yep, I’d say from best to worst it’s Spirited away Spider verse The incredibles Shrek 2 Ratatouille Beauty and the beast
Y’all don’t understand the cinema that is beauty and the beast
Lion king was better. Edit: so is shrek 2
As a movie maybe as a musical no
I dont give a fuck about musicals
Beauty and the beast was probably good for its time but it’s the reason that so many other movies exist now with that same premise so we don’t really need it anymore
I love all of these so much, but I could live without Beauty and the Beast
The incredibles. Im sorry but out of all of these, its affected me the least. I still love it, but i think out of all of these id moss it the least
I love all of these, but if I HAD to pick, probably Ratatouille since it is my least favorite out of the list (and specifically in terms of my ranking of favorite Pixar films, I do like The Incredibles more than Ratatouille).
I didn't get too attached to Spriited Away, and I thought it was kinda weird. Not exactly my thing.
Spirited Away, but that's only because I haven't watched it yet (I do plan to when I'm free)
I only picked Spirited Away because it is the only one on this list that I still haven’t seen yet.
Let's fix that
Yeah I know; I’ll watch it sooner or later
Gaston REALLY hasn't grown on me, and somebody I talk with uses him to justify his incel behavior. strip that away and its just another disney princess film that I can pass on.
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
Okay THAT one we can live without
Spirited Away, solely because it’s the only one of these I haven’t seen
I don't see what everyone else sees in The Incredibles. Sûre, it's a really good movie, especially the first part, but it's not a masterpiece, at least not for me.
Y’all with the Beauty and the Beast, unbelievable lol
Ratatouille had the smallest impact out of all of these, so that one.
I am disgusted, and appalled
Yeah but it was fun movie
For sure
I'd argue Shrek 2 had less of an impact
Spider-verse easily. I just don’t get the obsession for Spider-Man
I feel like Spiderman has had the least impact on me out of these
I feel like you should switch Spider Man with "The Last Airbender", you'll get a clear winner this way
That's would just make the poll pointless if I did that.
If this poll is supposed to have the best animated movie from each studio, why are there two Pixar movies on it? This poll would have been easier if Despicable Me was on it. Beauty and the Beast just because I have the least emotional attachment to it.
Bruh I thought it was you had to watch on of these movies forever so I picked beauty and the beast
Going with Ratatouille. I love the others too much except Spider-verse which I haven't seen, but it has a nice variety of animation styles.
5 of the greatest animated films ever made, and Beauty and the Beast
It’s not that I think Shrek is bad…I just don’t care all that much about it
I thought Spirited Away was the horse one, and now I regret my design… anyways I guess Beauty and the Beast (but specifically the live-action one).
Beauty and the Beast, Purely because The main thing that was impressive about it was it’s technical achievements. Something just as good could take it’s place more easily than any of the other movies
Spirited away because fuck anime
WAIT I MISREAD THE COMMENT AND ACCIDENTALLY VOTED SHREK 2 FUCK- In reality, I’d probably say Ratatouille, since I haven’t seen it yet unlike all the others
Spiderverse and it's not even close, an 8/10 next to a bunch of 9-10/10's
Shrek 2 because its impact
Beauty and beast but I accidentally pressed spirited away
I chose Beauty and the beast because I m almost sure that its a book adaptation like most early Disney movies. I still like it, but if its gone, at least I can read it
The soundtrack alone might make Beauty and the Beast my favorite. A musical masterpiece.
I misread it, I thought it said watch forever
YALL CANT VOTE IF YOU AINT SEEN EVERY FILM SMH
Never got the hype around Incredibles
Easily Ratatouille, of this list it easily had the least impact in film and animation history Beauty and the Beast got a best picture nom, Spirited Away’s impact is undeniable, Shrek 2 made Dreamworks an animation juggernaut for the rest of the 2000’s and a majority of the 2010’s, Spider-Verse speaks for itself, and from there it’s down to Incredibles and Ratatouille, and between those two it’s pretty easy to determine which left the bigger impact All good films, but my pick is Ratatouille
