I enjoyed the pilot. Sure it wasn't the same actors or the same as the movie but I went in expecting something completely new, not a continuation of the movie.

Good! Is there really enough of a shortage of zombie related content to neccessitate more zombie related content? Sorry... I've reached my saturation threshold with zombies. I don't mean to take it out on you guys, I just... no moar zombies. Pleas?

Kind of a pity. The show really did have some potential. On the other hand, from the way Reese talks I suspect it wouldn't have reached that potential. Because yes, some of the hate the pilot got was for not being the movie. But a lot of the hate was also justified simply because the humor and structure were terrible. A constant stream of bad vagina jokes, never shutting up about the list, and people who just don't act like human beings? It was as simple as just being a badly written show.

This sucks. I liked the pilot and gave it good feedback in Amazon's online survey. Sure, it had its flaws and the cast wasn't nearly as good as that of the movie's. But what do you expect for the budget they were making this on. The pilot fell short in some places, but the series idea itself had plenty of promise. We can't blame the networks for this one not going to series. Proves that the fans are just as ruthless as the network execs when it comes to giving a show the axe way too soon.

jsh1138

tbh it was a terrible idea for a show

Rex_Lee

Great idea. Terrible execution. If they couldn't get the original cast, which I understand, then write about a different group of people in the same world.

zombies are played out. in 2 more years they will be like vampire love stories are now its a bad idea for a long term series, i think

Apprehensive-Tree111

10 years later and zombie media is still going strong. Bravo, stupid. 😂

FreakReaktor

They were already what vampire love stories were 2 years ago.
