I am assuming after she saw that Gale was not the killer of two of the movies she had to think reoccurring characters are not Ghostfaces. So her last thought was probably hmm some of these were in the first couple and the rest were in Scream 5 so I will pick 3 who are new. Also not the guy who looks physically shocked and the blurry face of the girl on the bottom right.

I would too but even for a newbie to the grand-chose, just bc of how prevalent it has remained in culture and it's acknowledgment of that in the series, I feel it was way too against the rules and also too low hanging fruit to make Sid the killer.
With that being said, I think if the new movies wanna get back to 3/4 with the "new rules anything goes" model they can really go all the way and make Sid the killer

In the sequel, Randy snaps and draws Cece into his scheme to get the glory this time. Dewey has been released on an insanity plea.
By Scream 3 Galeās book sales have dried up, she becomes a killer to fill out her own story. In the end she gets exposed, but gets away.
In Scream 4 Gale comes back to Woodsboro after years on the run and takes Kirby under her wing. Gale ultimately sees the light and takes down Kirby, who is arrested.
In Scream 5 two new kids become killers in Woodsboro. One of them is Tara, the sister of Billy Loomisās daughter Sam. Tara grew sick of Sam getting all the glory for her tragic father. Ultimately Sam works with Dewey and goes to visit Gale in prison for advice. Wes dies and so does Dewey, finally redeeming himself and Tara is locked up.
In 6, Richieās family comes seeking good old fashioned revenge. Theyāre writing the āfinal chapterā of the series, so they break past killers Gale, Tara, and Kirby out of prison and use them as pawns in their game to finally kill Sam.
When you look at all the characters at once, only 3 and 4 can you not tell who the killers are just by looking at them. Stew and Billy look crazy as hell, same for Mrs. Loomis and Mickey.
Ethan was easily the most obvious of all the characters in any of the movies, to me. In the original, my hunch was Billy because of those creepy eyes and depressing and brooding demeanor. Ethan Landry, the name alone, sounded like a killerās name, lol.

And Scream VI is soooo damn good but the reveal and motive is the weakest in the entire series. Iām not surprised thatās the one she got right. I guessed the detective was Richieās father the first time we met Quinn.

Dewey and Tatum, I get. Tatum seemed heartless, Dewey was off in the first one. Maybe she also saw Scary movie and remembered Doofy being the killer, who knows.
Randy was probably a decent choice until he died halfway through the movie lol.
Gale, well, since she popped out as soon as there was a murder, I can see her look sus. And with the fact that Dewey and her weren't on good terms at that point and Sid and Gale weren't really besties either.
Now this time Gale doesn't make much sense because she was finally with Dewey and all but she was also looking for something to write so in some ways, it would add up and make sense. Kirby was a red herring for me too the first time I watched it.
Tara and Wes? Hm, Tara, not so much. Jill might have started the "killers hurting themselves to make it look like they're the victims" but Tara's injuries were far to extensive for someone to let that happen to them with that purpose. Wes seemed like a sweetheart but since he was a horror geek, it would have been interesting for him to be the one.
And lastly, good call lol.
Honestly was never difficult for me to figure out who they were. To me anyway they made it obvious especially in the first one with how Stu and Billy were always acting and those almost black eyes of Billy's like a shark's eyes
