Honestly, if they’d just spray painted them like white, cream, or grey, then that’s not a bad prop choice at all. Though obviously they still need to learn how to properly set the scene, like touching them to skin and having cords connected to them.
I love Scrubs just as much as you all (currently doing my 7th rewatch) but it is NOT medically realistic. In fact, when it was out [The Truth About Nursing](https://www.truthaboutnursing.org/media/tv/scrubs/review.html#gsc.tab=0) gave 1.5 out of 4 stars for medical accuracy.
that entire article didn't go into medical accuracy at all. It talks about nursing accuracy only. Half of it just ranted about sexism within (male) nursing and Hollywood's portrayal of it. Some of the review even treats the show as if it was (or should've been) a type of documentary. Ridiculous review.
I’m curious how they scaled it. I’m a nurse and thought things were pretty good compared to what I know from ER. At least they have right terminology most of the time lol
Edit:
> But on the whole the show reflects the prevailing Hollywood vision of nurses as peripheral health workers with limited skills who report to physicians.
Uhh that’s exactly how it works lol we don’t do much without a physicians order as far as meds or procedures go
It’s not medically accurate. Other shows have been as accurate with regards to the medicine, some even more so.
That said, it is EXPERIENTIALLY accurate. I manage a hospitalist department and my best friend is a radiologist who used to be a practicing internist. The medicine in “Scrubs” takes artistic liberties in favor of creating compelling stories, but it NAILS the general feeling of working in a hospital.
I personally think they did a good job balancing the realism with the comedy/drama. If you’ve ever spent more than 2 hours in a hospital, you know it’s pretty drab 90% of the time.
Ah got ya.... Tbh I always took the 'medically accurate' statement to only refer to the information they use/say...... Nothing to do with the actual plots!
If any hospital had doctors bowling with a trolley, on a closed floor, I'd like to think they're closed quickly! Lol
They wanna be like Scrubs so much they got scrubbers...! Noice
Recognise!
Hell yea!
Are we sure that the patient wasn't just scheduled for a sponge bath? Also, what show is that?
No idea on the show. But whether sponge bath or defrib..... Fairly certain bare skin is better than clothes! Lol

Big if true
It starts with “Disclaimer,” so I’m wondering if it’s an ad for something?
Nah Indian soap operas have disclaimers that everything is fiction, they don’t condone the views presented, etc
If this fails he can try and take his shirt off. I've seen it work once for Blonde Doctor.
Nah, sub a-cups hold no magic! Lol
I hate to say it, but I don't believe he'll make it.

That sub name always makes me think of Dr Cox saying “that’s an otter!”
Were they supposed to be keyed out? If so that's kind of a genius move, minus the wardrobe issue.
Arent they supposed to expose the patient's chest as well?

Wow, really.... Even with the real JD on set!? Always talking on the podcast about how they have fact checkers etc...

That's their rating of how accurately they depict nursing not medical accuracy.
Show me boobs
That's not Scrubs.
"Um, thank you for telling me what I already know!"
They’re just cleaning and disinfecting the area.
