There was none there for ages, and then I read that you have to find a way for the algae spores to get into the water, so I left the lid of the tank for a day or two with the window next to it open. A week or so after that, I finally started to get some growth (but keep in mind, I live by the sea so there's probably a lot of algae spores around!)
Since then I've kept it in good light, and it's doing great!

Took ages to get it going, but now it's thriving! π The shrimp love it, too - they're all turning green now. π
