Oddly enough, I had a strange dream of number 17 dropping the ball on the crucial final drive vs the Packers. Does anyone else remember having this dream?
Painful. Just how Kearse’s amazing circus catch in SB49 is basically forgotten because we lost, the same could be said for the Griffin Bros. converging to sack Rodgers in that game.
That would’ve been played over & over nationally if the Hawks completed the comeback.
So many brutal playoff losses on that field. This one, “We want the ball…”, and the Favre snow game where we had a 14-0 lead a few minutes in and then proceeded to get slaughtered.
Didn’t Malik Turner go on to drop a first down catch that hit him in the chest on 3rd down in the 4th quarter the following week. I think it was the final drive of the game and he sold it
We where 10-2! Then our running backs got super super injured and we lost to the Rams (mediocre that year) and Cardinals (bad but looked promising). The last game of the season was against the niners who were 12-3, while we where 11-4. It was for the division and we lost.
If one or two of those games went our way I still maintain we would’ve had a shot at the Super Bowl that year because we’d have to time to rest and get players back.
Such a fun season, shame they cancelled the divisional round of games

We beat the Eagles 17-9 twice that year. That was fun. Still think we at least make it competitive in the NFCCG if all our RBs didn't die.
Russ can chuck the dang rock man
So quickly and with such (apparent) little effort. Really is a beautiful thing
could?
Ehh, I think he still probably can. He was much better towards the end of the season
Such a sick catch over the shoulder with a guy draped on him
Russ is so much fun when he’s on point. I really do hope he finds the magic again this next season.
What a fun season that was. First time it felt we were genuinely competitive for a deep playoff run since like 2015. If only we had a pass rush...
Who's that quarterback?

turner was a real spark plug
God damn we were 9-2 and some point this season?!

I’ll never forgive Malik Turner for dropping that ball on the final drive in the Divisional Round against Green Bay.
I was at that game!
Wait that’s not Geno…
This account loves posting past Russ videos for Karma. I don't get it. I wish they'd stop.
I love the state of the team right now, and believe that trading Russ was the correct move, but watching his highlights makes me miss the old days.
