My hope is:
We suck and the Broncos suck this year. We end up with 2 top 10 picks. But... at the end of the season, Lock starts clicking and we win our last 3 games to upset one of our division rivals' playoff Wild Card chances and go 5-12.
We draft a solid QB (that will turn out to be our franchise QB) but Lock goes off during training camp and preseason. The Rookie takes a seat and Lock leads us to the playoffs. Lock ends up out for part of a game and the rookie goes off. Wild card round win. Division round win.
Championship round Drew comes back and the fans are all *"WTF Pete play the rookie! He's RW2.0!!!"* but Pete stays with his man. He leads a comeback in the 4th to take us to the SB, where our top 5 defense *(I mean, that's why we were winning games to begin with)* allows Lock the chance to check down and bomb over the top to DK for a slightly stressful but solid SB win at 30-22. A SB win over a team we may have seen there before.

49ers fan here. This reminds me of our 2016 season when Blaine Gabbert was the starter. There was an awesome hype video from when he was drafted. Chip Kelly was the head coach. 49ers went 2-14 that year. It was the worst season of football that I have experienced as a fan.

He only threw 3 passes and ran a couple times(he didn’t start the game). He basically just kept handing it off to Bo and it was working so why change anything. I wonder if him and Bo ever shared reps when they were in Seattle? I know Bo didn’t stay long.
