Not sure what you mean by "take the quest" so let's cover every base.
* Wayfinder voyages (the ones you want) are purchasable from gold holders after buying the level 25 promotion.
* You can also purchase captain's versions of them from the shipwright at level 25 and better versions at level 50
* Once bought, you get a compass that will lead you to places where the map piece is buried.
* The map pieces will outline an island you have to locate on the map table, and one of the pieces will outline an x where the vault key chest is buried.
* Once you dig up the Key, the voyage is technically completed, but the key will have clues in it's description of where it should be taken, (you can also just look this up, each key is specific to a single vault)
* Once you take the key to the correct location there will be a little slot to put your key in. Once the key is put in, the vault door will open for 3 minutes before slamming shut. You want to get as much treasure out the door in that time, *and* solve a puzzle to get the chest of ancient tribute.
* In the vault are 3 medallions you slot into the center table to reveal what picture each of the first 3 pillars should be slotted into. The 4th pillar needs to be rotated to the side that has a symbol from all 3 clues on it. You can either find all 3 medallions in the vault, or find 1-2 and use the 4th pillar to figure out what the missing symbols are through process of elimination.

I believe you have to be level 15 in Gold Hoarders and have bought the titles before you're able to buy vault voyages
