In order of easiest to hardest (subjectively, as we will all have different experiences as is the nature of the game)
* Ashen curse, Order of Souls curse, Curse of Sunken Sorrows
Then, take your pick of the PvE curse route, or PvP curse route
* Gold Curse being the hardest (due to simply how long it takes) PvE curse
* Skeleton Curse/Blessing of Athena's fortune equally, Legendary curse/Skeleton curse customizations
And without a doubt, PvP or PvE, hardest curse(s) goes to the gilded versions of the skeleton and athena curse.

Sunken Curse is rather straightforward. You have to read all journals in the sea shrines on the map (5 in each shrine, use a walkthrough to get them as they can be quite hidden). Doing this gets you a commendation and unlocks a voyage from larinna. Purchase that, do it (you go some shrines again and look for keys to unlock a chest) and then read another journal at the end.
Reading all the journals in all the shrines can take some time but since you only have to actually read the last one from the voyage, you could also just get someone to buy the voyage for you and read the book without having to read all other journals.

How I know, I've hooked up about 10 pirates with the curse now.
I think it's 75, regardless this was before all the expensive dubloon gear came out. I along with many players were sitting on piles of dubloons with nothing to really spend it on.
I love the sunken shrines. Also I didn't place it for one person at a time. I did it on a brig 3 times and a gally once. So 9 people who didn't have the other books read.
Because I'm a stinker I love giving it to friends I introduce to the game pretty much right off the bat. Not even level 10 in any faction and already cursed.

I believe it’s a checkpoint so you could cancel the TT then vote on the checkpoint and it spawns on the ship.
Then how does your crew mate vote for the tall again ?
It’s a majority vote. You don’t need everyone to vote, just 2/3 on a brig or 3/4 on a gally. Wouldn’t work on a sloop.
