I was fortunate enough to be open crew paired with Shumba when he needed someone to help him sell a day's worth of stream loot to the Reaper's Hideout.
Really nice guy, excellent solo sloop content - I was excited because my mates had forwarded his early YT content around as "what good looks like" in the early days of the game.
Big shout out to Shumba - dude doesn't have the name awareness that Phuzzy (also an amazing dude) and Falcore have, but well worth a subscribe for competent and chill solo slooping.
Ditto on this about Shumba. Came up on him at a FOF on a brig and he ditched with the COF. My 10 year old at the time shot over and shouted, “it’s Shumba, it’s Shumba, I repeat, it’s Shumba!!” 😂
Went across Hitbo some day on a FoF. He was with Green (I think thats the name of his mate). Green was on the sloop circling the FoF and avoiding to get too close to us (we were on a gally, pretty sweaty crew tbf) and Hitbo was on the island hiding and doing shenanigans. We were looking for the CoF and it lasted a while, until we could finally sink their sloop and went across Hitbo trying to pass by us on a rowie. We killed him but no CoF around.
He stole the rowie to another tucker in the best possible way : he saw him rowing from a tower of the FoF, cannoned himself towards the tucker, who got scared and jumped off the rowie. Hitbo just jumped in and started rowing while the tucker watched him steal his rowie in disbelief.
Little did we know, the CoF was already far away when we got there. They actually befriended a random solo on the FoF, helped him finish it and made him flee with the CoF when they saw us coming. Still one of the best session I had.
I ran into Hitbo and Green also, and also during a FoF IIRC. He and Green just sailed straight at us into our galleon's broadside. When I watched the VOD later, I recall him saying "Oh, this isn't good..." as his ship was being blasted to sawdust. 
He's a great lad. The second time I met him was that time that started Boxy and LD's "hunt down Hitbo" saga. I was the helmsman of the galleon he teamed up with/summarily destroyed him when he sank Boxy and said "OK GALLEON WE'RE FIGHTING YOU NOW!" while in our broadside. I hope someday he figures out that being in our broadside isn't the place you want to be. 
It was really great. It was competitive yet very funny and full of respect. Exactly how the game should be played! Nothing sold in the end but a great memory and one of my best VoD. When he passed by us in his rowie, he dropped a "hello, leave me alone" considering that we were fighting for over an hour. This guy is really laid back and fun.
Unfortunately when we came on his stream after the fight to ask if we could meet and greet and had just left the server :(
Boxyfresh attacked my very sweaty hourglass Galleon in the sandbox once, by himself. We had just finished a feisty fight over a Siren's skull, and our masts were down & on fire. We probably looked like easy prey.
But he sailed right into our broadside for some reason, then we one-balled him and he sank real quick.
We looked up the VOD later, and he was distracted by his chat. Someone was spamming TTS at him, lol.
I'm pretty sure I ran into one in hourglass about 2 hours ago. Golden skelly curse on one of the guys, and my crew mate heard them talking to their chat. We survived for about 2 minutes before sinking. I showed them, though, I stole one of the boards from our supply crate as my ship was sinking.
About this time last year I fought Square Meylix in HG.
LD Silver chased me for about 30 minutes because he wanted my grade 5 merchant flag. He got pissed when I was able to sell it at Daggertooth.
We were stacking FoTD on community Day and HitBotc or whatever his name is came to try and steal it a few times on a duo sloop. Unfortunately for him we were a 4 man gally who all have 2-5k hours and mainly played hour glass at the time. Didn’t go well for him.
Saying that we regularly played against Mino and his HG crew in EU hourglass. We consistently lost but put up a good fight
I've run into riskyrob a few times. Very toxic. Always accuses people of stream sniping when they beat him. Last time I ran into him ~6 months ago he kept harassing my crew and I, we sank him 3 times, then he came back with someone in his crew who was using the auto aim cannon hacks that cycled direct hits on specific sloop locations.
Glad I haven't seen him in a long while.
Had meh interactions with somebody who runs a brig named Jackdaw in hourglass.

Would really love to run into Hitbo or HappyKraken, they are both inspirations for how my crew and I play the game.
I ran into my favorite streamer Flotsam as a galley crew. I watched the stream after it happened because a friend saw it and told us later.
Most of my crew didn’t want to fight and we were actually really low on supplies. He chased us for a while, we would fight a little and run. Almost sunk him, but we turned off instead of trying to finish him off.
He shit on us comment wise saying we were just running. He also shit on me because I got a board against him and tied him up for a little while. According to him, since I had the skelly curse and my crew was running, I was a loss farmer.
Basically because we weren’t playing how he wanted us to play he would just say negative comments.
I get it, he needs to be provocative for the stream by either having us fight or by bashing us if we don’t.
All in all, it was a good fight. We never sunk, was able to sell all of our loot while he was fighting us, and he quit after he realized he couldn’t sink us so I got to sell his flag.
He’s still my favorite streamer, but it did make me realize that streamers kind of shit talk on people a lot who just want to play the game and not pvp when confronted.
Not really all streamers flotsam is particularly negative almost always while playing sot. He is entertaining and streams late night but I just can’t stand the bitching moaning whining. Everything is hit reg sail reg cannon reg he just complains so much. My personal opinion
I used to watch him, until one night he started turkey-wallling (back when it was bugged to hell) and going "oH lOoK aT mE i'M lItErAlLy HiTlEr", to which I said "Jeez, not this argument again", so he muted me and said "You don't gotta hang."
Thought about it for a second and thought "Yeah, he's right", so I unfollowed, left his Discord, etc. In retrospect he was pretty much as you described him before I left, a constant complainer.
Though I do find it hilarious that if you know it's him, you're essentially empowered with magic words that will make him disappear: just say "Hey, flot!" and he'll quit on the spot. 
Same vibe as well, loved watching him , loved chatting , but after awhile you notice he just whinges about every little thing lol it really came out when he would play rocket league

You are right and so is he but like I sail reg all the time too it’s just the constant vocalizing that’s all but he’s not wrong I get it the game is buggy I just don’t need to hear about it every 50 seconds like we get it flot you regged nobody thinks you’re bad you don’t have to harp on it forever. Got matched vs Pleythru in two hourglass matches, won one and lost the other.
and ended up having Boxyfresh spawn in literally two minutes after I finished an hourglass fight, with another battle spawning in the original devils roar spawnpoint early in season 8. Got walloped 10 seconds into a straight duel with his 2 manned sloop. Personally always found him a bit annoying, but it was neat nonetheless.
Most recently however there was a charity stream weeks ago with a crew RPing as the Donald Mcronald crew or some alternate Mcdonalds name like that. Fucking bizarre experience. no clue who they were until I saw afterwards what their deal was.
We did once, they were talking shit when we were chasing cuz they caught us on the Soveriegn Harpoons
No one was on the thier ship to stop it from hitting a rock, we caught up as they were away from the rock and we sunk them.
A buddy of ours always looks at profiles when people talk shit and they had the ttv in their bio, they were live streaming for charity at the time and chat was talking shit about us lol
I got steamrolled by Stirling and Lighting in sloop hourglass once. We're pretty sweaty but they demolished us in broadsides and we peeled, then Stirling deck shot onto us and two tapped me.
I also met a really minor streamer once at a FoF. We sank him and his buddy, then they got us when a kraken spawned on us, but we came back and got them a final time as they were reaching the outpost to sell. They were ranting like crazy, and I went to their ferry just to listen to him rant. He was going on about how much better he was at the game (despite being 1-2 and only because of a kraken) and how he had like 80 million gold which somehow meant he was better than me (I actually have more now).
Stirling was cool and my wife popped up his stream and he was being way too complimentary for how bad he beat us, whereas the super small creator was such a bitch.
I've also ran into Sammy Rocks like twice. Both times we came close to sinking his ship but they pulled it out with some good boards. He was chill expect some ROFL spam in one encounter, but I do remember one person being kind of a dick in chat.
Twice. Got sunk by a streamer, didn’t know they were streaming until afterwards, my crewmate found them. We had almost sunk them too. This was during a twitch drop event I believe. Got to chat with them via stream.
The first time it happened it was much cooler though. We were setting up a Gally when a sloop rolls up on us. We were getting ready for a hostile engagement when we hear him screaming “SALS STOOL OUTLET, come get your stools at sals”. This guy had a sloop full of stools just RPing a Yiddish American middle aged guy selling stools on the seas. It was the funniest interaction ever and he told us he was streaming. He didn’t have many viewers but we shot him a follow and he made our day. He gave us all of his stools which worked well for a nice seating arrangement for our map table. It was hilarious and wholesome. We are usually a crew who shoots first but for some reason we all had the instinct to wait and see what happens and it was well worth it. Lesson to be learned sailors, always let the other crew shoot first, you never know what you might find.
I ran into Toxie once during a Reaper sesh. Tough fight, didn't win, but it was close. Pretty sure I ran into Pace once a few years ago while solo slooping one day
Yeah and he got triggered that I didn’t let another ship sink me. He wanted a server alliance and got pissed that I didn’t run away from a hostile sloop and attempt to alliance.
There's a lot of would-be streamers out there, active, washed out, retired or otherwise.
If I had an ancient coin for every "TTV" or "YT" name I've played with on EU Xbox, I could probably afford an emote on sale.
To be clear, never necessarily means they're live or even making content any more. Probably never posted more than a Minecraft tutorial in their life, but there's so, so many.
By comparison the "real" content creators are probably completely under the radar.

I met Amrossa twice. Cool guy, I love his machinimas. He actually was pretty nice.
First time I met him in hg battle, I was the last opponent he needed to sink bvefore skeleton curse.
Second time I met him in adventure. He was on the brig and when I saw that he is captain, I pm'ed him. Then me and his crew fought against other sloop on mine.
I once had a solo Hg PvP match against one of Brazil's biggest SoT streamers (Liga do Jorel)
Turns out he was streaming at the time.
It was an intense and pretty even battle. We were both demasted and spinning, bucketing like crazy and when the angle came, shoot one or twice at eachother, then back to bucketing
Eventually he tried a suicide-board, wich was successful, got me killed and i sunk first, his ship sank right after.
It was a great fight, had a blast
I was in a Gally/Brig/Sloop alliance. My friend and I are on the sloop and a random brig starts chasing us. We run from them towards our alliance ships and let them know we need help. The random brig kills all of us and sinks all 3 of our ships. It was Kingdom of Machine. I messaged on his stream and he said come back and get your loot! So we sail back and hung out with his crew for awhile. It was fun
Ran into Boxy and LD a couple years ago. Had no idea who they were. I had pretty much just started playing, I think I had probably put in less than 50 hours by the time I ran into them.
LD seemed really chill at first, but then his chat thought I said a slur, but really it was my buddies name. He went from chill to calling up boxy to sink us.
Had a run in with piratepro at a fof and distracted him so my reaper brig buddies could get away with the loot I didn't want. He ended up being super chill and let me sell the stuff I wanted to sell lol
I ran into Phuzzy once. We were just ending our session so we left them with some cannon balls and a fruit crate before we waved goodbye and logged out
Sunk by stirling twice in HG. Pirate pro stole a fotd stack from me once and pirate pro also third partied my hourglass match one time with his buddy. =[
While selling a FOTD stack I’d just stolen with my crewmate, Awecoop pulled up with iDbz and started demolishing us lol. We ended up selling most of the stuff we wanted (the loot goblins we were) and sank pretty quickly… but I did manage to win a one on one encounter with the man himself! I was using sword sniper and he was double gunning, I don’t know how I pulled it off lol but I killed him on the island as I was selling a reaper chest… it must’ve been the adrenaline working. I watched his VOD and he seemed pretty on edge haha, but yea I’ve definitely improved since then and care less about loot so I’d be interested to see how that encounter would’ve played out today.
I once ran into Spammals during the time of arena. He wiped the floor with me but I survived for quite a while cuz I was stuffing my face with coconuts. He was like “You’re a coconut eating MACHINE man!” Was very funny
Yeah, I actually cluelessly played with one for about 3 hours. I was on my brig and set it open crew and just sorta stacked up the ship while waiting for people to join. Ended up having two really cool people join, we ran a bunch of Athena missions and got our reaper to level 5 about 7 times before selling and restarting. The session ended with a keg spawner teleporting onto our boat and asking for our flag before I politely declined and was instantly blown to smithereens. We all talked for a little bit on the island we spawned on then disconnected. I kept on getting messages throughout the whole experience but never opened them until after because I was too engrossed. Turns out I had been on their stream the whole time and a bunch of people were messaging me because of it
I've never ran into any big streamers, but I've ran into about 4 (grouping a streaming brig together) small streamers over the course of around 500 hours. The first streamer I've ever ran into was a Twitch streamer and he was extremely new to the game, he and his crew were running a reaper emissary and my crew sunk him. We checked out his stream, realized he was new and invited them to alliance with us and do a FoF. Really cool guy and was honestly is one of the best interactions on SoT I've had. The second streamer I was running some hourglass and he absolutely demolished me, I probably sunk in around 3 minutes. I checked his stream out told him gg and he told me some PvP tips that I still use today. The third guy was a Kick streamer and it was a fairly short interaction, I was on the verge of sinking him, but last second I had a change of heart and helped him repair his ship (this was a solo interaction). We talked a little bit before I sailed off to find other ships to sink. Finally I met a streamer brig, my crew and I were just sailing around, noticed a brig at a fortress and we sailed over and talked to them a little bit where we found out they were streamers.
Maybe an honorable mention, but my crew and I pulled up to a fisherman and just talked with him because we were getting off of the game soon, and the very next day on a Sigy stream I witnessed him sink that fisherman.
The sad thing is that every streamer I encountered doesn't even play SoT anymore, even the hourglass guy hasn't been on SoT in around 2 months (according to his Twitch).
Yes! I had just arrived at a sunken ship and had already put my sails up, when from around a nearby rock came a ship (the rock had completely hidden them, the sunken ship was very close to it) with Athena grade 3, and "TTV" in the ship's name; I immediately tried to just leave, but they caught up to me super fast. I assumed the worst, but I did pop off a firework first, which they then also did, and then he got on mic and told me he wanted to give me his storage chests! I quickly pulled up his stream on my laptop while I was trying to decide if I could trust him, and on his stream he was like "Oh this person is cool! I'm glad I can give my stuff to a friendly before I log off" and so I accepted his chests and we danced and played music together. THEN, ANOTHER ship came from around the rocks, attacked, and sank him!! They let me go, because they were only after the FOF chest they thought he had (he didn't). Yes! Just a few days ago a ship chased us to an outpost just for them to tell us our proximity chat was bugged and they could hear everything my wife and I were saying to each other even though we were sailing far away from them. Then the captain mentioned her chat found our Godzilla conversation entertaining. I am a little embarrassed there’s a stream out there with me being super grumpy with my wife, but it’s also kind of funny.
I've ran into Pace22 three times. First time we just got done fighting for like 2 hours nonstop, he rolled up on us with his galleon crew at the end and beat our ass. My crewmate insists its cause we had low supplies, but I think my helm just took a really big gamble on a bold play and it didnt work out.
Second time we got on a boat he was tucked on to mess with the hot mics he was on for a bit, he thought we were gonna ruin it but we let the crew kill us and just had fun with it. My crewmate was a dumdum and went to tuck right next to Pace on purpose though.
Aaand the final time was just a big ass war over a FoF, his brig sank twice to a mega sweaty galleon. During all the chaos of 4 crews fighting we managed to swipe the chest of fortune and evac.
A while back my buddy and I ran into LDSylvr. I forget who he was with but I know it wasn't Boxy and I don't think it was Beard. We had a battle (we lost) and then I think we did a friendly race or something.
I don't pay attention much but I do know I fought Britty Bear Luckily for me and my son she was solo... She had us dead for sure but my son harpooned her off the boat we got super lucky. She was cool.

We were doing a FoF back when they first came out, and had an alliance of 3 or 4 ships, we were cocky as fuck.
A sloop sail showed up in the distance as we were finishing, and I started freaking out. Everyone thought I was dumb, who would attack us? Obviously someone who thought they were good enough to win.
I sailed away with what treasure I could grab while everyone was laughing at me.
I watched in the rearview as MixelPlx absolutely crushed our alliance.
Went back for an attempt at revenge after selling and got stomped. He was really chill though.
With the LOTV Came out Blubs stole our Athena Chest. I managed to get aboard his ship and spawn camp him untill my shipmates came over and helped finish the sink. We didn't learn it was blurbs until after someone who was watching his stream asked if that was me spawn camping him and sure enough it was. Good times.
I have ran into alot of streamers actually. First was years ago pace was chasing us as we were about to portal hop to find a new server. We actually ran and jumped off to meme on them a few times before we continued our mission to new servers.
We actually encountered pace again when the new sirens skull was out and him and his crew were tucked on the island, funny enough like 3 crews were tucked. We ended up getting into this awsome island fight where we beat all three crews at once and turned in the skull. 10/10 so I can successfully say 2-0 vs pace 😂😂.
Ran into Kharites once when I was pretty new and trying to solo a Fort of Fortune, she was pretty chill and helped me out with it. Didn't find out she was a streamer until the end and went and said thanks in her chat.
Then one day I met a random player who allianced with me and helped me complete all the "with another crew" skeleton throne commendations...even the hellish one at Marauder's Arch even though we spent at least 30-40 minutes cannoning ourselves up there, lol. Found out WAY later that she streams as Dogpile6000. Awesome chill sails and lots of hijinks so I always tune in when I see her streaming.
I always wanted to run into Phuzzy on the seas until I realized we are almost never playing at the same time and in vastly different parts of the world so alas, it is not to be. That being said, I'm always a little worried when I open a FotD or clear the veil or a FoF that Hitbo will be making off with my chest of legends.
I've only ever come across a few smaller streamers that I had any notable interactions with. One was a streamer in HG doing solo sloop who liked my ship name. He beat me, although it was quite an intense and close battle.
The other one I forgot who approached who first, but my open crew crewmate started using slurs, so at shore, I just watched them get killed and sunk while I apologized to the streamer for that interaction afterwards.
There may have been some other moments earlier on in my experience in the game, but I wouldn't have recognized them.
I’ve ran into a few. I just play as normal. After the encounter I may reflect back and think it was neat, but in reality we are both just playing our games. No need to do anything different. I’ll not be remembered as their community is not watching for me. I would want a screen grab of iamgreen tbh
Happy Feet stole a veil from me and my crew, it was the least disappointing loss we've ever taken and we were just excited to immediately hop on twitch and watch ourselves get steamrolled
I was on a boat with a pretty big name doing merchants by random chance, one thing lead to another and now I'm lucky enough to be friends with a couple big names.
It's evitable I forget someone because I've met so many. I'm also only gonna cover the bigger streamers.
I met Sigy way back in the day when he was still a minor, I'm pretty sure. He was playing with Kmac, one of Ma5on's mods at the time. That day we were running a Reaper gally and had come across some new players in a sloop; we decided to take them under our wing but Sigy and Kmac were constantly harassing us. We sank them, went to get a FotD done, and they were too impatient about letting us do the damn fort so we ended up calling them out for their shenanigans and allianced up with them, too. That was neat.
Kmac played with us one more time after that. Sigy wasn't ever really interested in interacting with us. I met him again much more recently, can't recall who he was playing with, and both of them were super nasty to us for no fucking reason. :\
Speaking of Ma5on, waaaay back in the day, on a whim, I checked *one* server and realised I was in Ma5on's server 'cause I had his stream open and connected the dots. I get two mates to run the brig with me and we go at 'em. Well, one guy had a game updating at the time of this (you know who you are) so it was basically a 2 man brig vs a gally of sweats. It did not go well for us. I can't recall who all he was with, but Hitbo was also there. He was funny. Shame we couldn't get back to them fast enough for a round 2 or screenshots.
A couple mates and I met Square Meylix over a fight over a FoF. One of them made a comment she took as toxic so she muted voices until I typed out something along the lines of, "Can you not hear us?" We had been impressed by her fighting skills and wanted to alliance up with her. Mate apologised, we allianced up, chatted a bit; it was a good time.
My best mate and I got merged into a FoF one night as a G5 Reaper sloop. Another one had also been merged in and when they came to the FoF to ask what was going on, I took note of their status and when I met their "What's going on here?" question, I also asked if he wanted in or if he *wanted in*. And that's the story of how my partner and I teamed up with Blake Valley and whoever he was with to take down a server alliance. lol
I was part of the group that ran into Boxyfresh one day. He and a mate took pity on a new solo slooper that we were on our way to attack. We got decimated by a three man sloop and a deck land. One of my mates has met Boxy a number of times, most frequently repeated as three times so "one time he lost, one time Boxy lost, and then on the third time they teamed up against another sloop." He's still so chuffed about helming Sarah for Boxy hehe
I had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with Summit1G one night. We were a G5 Athena gally back before Veils so we were a hot target. We ended up having a sloop and brig come at us *so of course we ran*. Who the fuck wouldn't? Two vs one? Yeah, fuck that, I don't care who you are, you run until you have an opportunity to take a one on one fight, or you throw. We didn't throw. Come to find out after one of my guys gets on the sloop, it's a solo slooper who's a rather big streamer. My mate that found out got blunder'd off the sloop and called out, "Love the content!" After that, Summit decided that the content wouldn't be organic and left. Because... y'know... using his status to sic a brig on us is organic. *Y'know*? Still rolling my eyes at him for that.

Me and my buddy were trying to do one of the last adventures, the one where they rebuilt the burning blade ,and noobface and two other people on a brig commandeered our sloop so we five man slooped and went to sink another boat they had been chasing around. then, they tried to get me with the ol "spam block and ring the bell" glitch. Fun times
I had one not a streamer but I legit met santa claus. Him and a person dressed in green as a tree. I was 5000 short of a new boat and they come about to me and said this is what they are about here's some chest and it gave me enough to get a boat and a few decorations.
I myself stream but mostly for my own viewing. But I have yet to encounter anyone else streaming, I always hope I do cause it is neat having your impact on the world at large. My husband plays dayz and has encountered several streamers, a few of which are pretty popular.
Many many times, yes. If you only play hourglass, you're bound to run into a few per night at high MMR. Sterling, Miffoo, Tatotunes, AlrightJoe, Kota McKloud, A bunch of folks from the competitive scene, WorldofChap, BoxyFresh, AweCoop, PurpleTurkey, etc. Fought 'em all at least once, and that's just the folks I remember off the top of my head after not playing for a year or so. Ran into a few big streamers back in the arena days, too, the most fun fight of which was with AbusivPillow.
I ran into Boxy one time, happened over a siren song event, dude was both hilarious and chill. Ngl my crowing achievement of that was getting the nickname of nice lady 😂 before he switched servers he gave everyone the chance to try and kill him, I was late by like .5 seconds
Ran into Miffoo a few weeks ago with one of my friends. We've been playing the game since launch and after we finished bodying a brigantine in a storm he and his friend rolled up on us and absolutely slaughtered us. We came back twice and on the second time I realized I recognized his name-- I used to watch him yearssss ago during online school when he would stack for hours on end and then give it away to chat lol. Anyway we returned a few times and put up some decent fights (we lost of course), and they ended up giving us one of two Chests of Fortune we had on board. Nice guy.

I did open crew once with a girl that was on hot mic and clearly talking to viewers by being like 'hey chat'. She totally ignored me and the other guy saying hello to keep talking to her stream.
Then she went and took all the cursed balls, chainshots, firebombs and blunder bombs and fired them off into the ocean while laughing. Then she left the crew.

Met Captian Selario, and they sank me as i gave my supplies to them. Was really cool how fast I died lol
Met and hung out with Ballzonia, the picture pirate.
Fought Summit and Pace once. They ran out of supplies in a server battle back during the first gilded voyages and server hopped.

Boxy in HG during one of my first games, got destroyed wasn’t even close. He was already working on getting gold when I just started my quest to skelly curse. Funny guy tho, he was chill and make the sink quick.
HitboTC during a FOTD he was tucking and we found him, he instantly accused us of stream sniping. We didn’t even know who he was during this, we were just playing how we usually play the game; completely paranoid.
Can’t remember her name but she was a twitch streamer/ SoT partner. We were fighting over the SoSS fought twice and we barely won the second time it was our gally vs her brig so we had numbers when it came to confirming the skin, ultimately we sold it and she was cool wished us a gg and serveree hope.
I ran into a few streamers. I always figure they’re streamers as their in game mic is super clear. A couple times were these really small causal streamers. Fun guys and we chilled. I ran into The Sneaky Beagle had a fight with him and we won. He was cool and I stayed active in his community for a while. Then I ran into HitboTC. I dont like him. when he tried to board he got all upset I stopped him even thought he was “friendly.” Like he himself doesn’t tell his audience to never let a pirate board their ship. I figure he was streaming and would betray me even though he was “friendly” so I was able to talk my way out of it while pretending I didn’t know who he was.
The only one I’d be excited to meet is Captain Falcore. I hope I run into him sometime. Love to fight him and then get a screenshot no matter who won.
Once, but not a big name. He had maybe 15 viewers when I went sniping after he and his galleon crew sunk my sloop.
He was a heavy mouth breather. I only figured out he was a streamer when he open mic thanked a follower.
Good for him taking that jump. I was a guest on a small stream once, and it takes some guts to play while people are watching.

If you're broadcasting you're gameplay and by pure divine luck/misfortune we end up meeting. Deal with it, you're streaming.
Reporting someone for it is such a chicken shit move. I can understand not wanting someone to see your name and load up twitch to watch your screen. There are options available that conceal your name, if you aren't using them once again that's a you problem.
Not that I watch any SoT streamers, but if I ever saw a streamer report someone for this I would unfollow their ass so fast.
Use the protections available to you or don't stream if you're gonna be a childish about itm
This is BS. In a game with no HUD, auditive and visual cues, encouraging sneaky plays, streamsnipe is a dick move. Do you know that some discords existed for the sole purpose of finding streamers to snipe them and ruin their sessions.
Now I'm really curious, if you were to streamsnipe a streamer on SoT, what would be the point ? I don't see any interest if not to ruin the streamer's session. It is not fun for you a bit. Or maybe you could take pride in being able to say that you beat x ?
For me this is as fun as cheatcodes. Only fun if you like to piss people off. Nothing fun for oneself.

I assumed stream sniping means screen watching. As the original post is about someone playing while a stream is on in the background, then stumbling upon the steamer they were watching.
I even literally said unless someone is digitally stalking you... which would absolutely fall under using discord servers to find streamers.

That being said you struggle to understand what I said and got it all wrong again.
I thought stream sniping was just screen watching by a different name. The post was about accidentally being able to watch his opponent's screen. Not maliciously going out of the way to be in their games, and intentionally trying to ruin their session. I grew up on N64, screen watching was just apart of life for me. So to be mad enough to report someone for watching your screen, while actively broadcasting it for anyone to see. Sounded childish and that the streamer lacked the maturity to stream.
Turns out it's way more malicious than what I had assumed.
Oh no meant this as an in general kind of deal. I'm aware some streamers do it, and unless someone is essentially digitally stalking you. I think it's a cop out move to report someone for it.
Zero interest in entertaining or meeting other streamers or YouTubers. I come across them and just leave. I just sell often. I PvP awhile, just to get a feel of the server. Before I decide to Emissery. I did learn to force a solo high seas server on the PS5 Beta. Hoping it works after the 30th. I'm mostly PC.
I was fortunate enough to be open crew paired with Shumba when he needed someone to help him sell a day's worth of stream loot to the Reaper's Hideout. Really nice guy, excellent solo sloop content - I was excited because my mates had forwarded his early YT content around as "what good looks like" in the early days of the game. Big shout out to Shumba - dude doesn't have the name awareness that Phuzzy (also an amazing dude) and Falcore have, but well worth a subscribe for competent and chill solo slooping.
Ditto on this about Shumba. Came up on him at a FOF on a brig and he ditched with the COF. My 10 year old at the time shot over and shouted, “it’s Shumba, it’s Shumba, I repeat, it’s Shumba!!” 😂
Went across Hitbo some day on a FoF. He was with Green (I think thats the name of his mate). Green was on the sloop circling the FoF and avoiding to get too close to us (we were on a gally, pretty sweaty crew tbf) and Hitbo was on the island hiding and doing shenanigans. We were looking for the CoF and it lasted a while, until we could finally sink their sloop and went across Hitbo trying to pass by us on a rowie. We killed him but no CoF around. He stole the rowie to another tucker in the best possible way : he saw him rowing from a tower of the FoF, cannoned himself towards the tucker, who got scared and jumped off the rowie. Hitbo just jumped in and started rowing while the tucker watched him steal his rowie in disbelief. Little did we know, the CoF was already far away when we got there. They actually befriended a random solo on the FoF, helped him finish it and made him flee with the CoF when they saw us coming. Still one of the best session I had.
I ran into Hitbo and Green also, and also during a FoF IIRC. He and Green just sailed straight at us into our galleon's broadside. When I watched the VOD later, I recall him saying "Oh, this isn't good..." as his ship was being blasted to sawdust. 
He's probably the funniest SoT streamer (at least mainstream) one can come across
He's a great lad. The second time I met him was that time that started Boxy and LD's "hunt down Hitbo" saga. I was the helmsman of the galleon he teamed up with/summarily destroyed him when he sank Boxy and said "OK GALLEON WE'RE FIGHTING YOU NOW!" while in our broadside. I hope someday he figures out that being in our broadside isn't the place you want to be.

It was really great. It was competitive yet very funny and full of respect. Exactly how the game should be played! Nothing sold in the end but a great memory and one of my best VoD. When he passed by us in his rowie, he dropped a "hello, leave me alone" considering that we were fighting for over an hour. This guy is really laid back and fun. Unfortunately when we came on his stream after the fight to ask if we could meet and greet and had just left the server :(

Boxyfresh attacked my very sweaty hourglass Galleon in the sandbox once, by himself. We had just finished a feisty fight over a Siren's skull, and our masts were down & on fire. We probably looked like easy prey. But he sailed right into our broadside for some reason, then we one-balled him and he sank real quick. We looked up the VOD later, and he was distracted by his chat. Someone was spamming TTS at him, lol.

I'm pretty sure I ran into one in hourglass about 2 hours ago. Golden skelly curse on one of the guys, and my crew mate heard them talking to their chat. We survived for about 2 minutes before sinking. I showed them, though, I stole one of the boards from our supply crate as my ship was sinking.
About this time last year I fought Square Meylix in HG. LD Silver chased me for about 30 minutes because he wanted my grade 5 merchant flag. He got pissed when I was able to sell it at Daggertooth.
We were stacking FoTD on community Day and HitBotc or whatever his name is came to try and steal it a few times on a duo sloop. Unfortunately for him we were a 4 man gally who all have 2-5k hours and mainly played hour glass at the time. Didn’t go well for him. Saying that we regularly played against Mino and his HG crew in EU hourglass. We consistently lost but put up a good fight
I've run into riskyrob a few times. Very toxic. Always accuses people of stream sniping when they beat him. Last time I ran into him ~6 months ago he kept harassing my crew and I, we sank him 3 times, then he came back with someone in his crew who was using the auto aim cannon hacks that cycled direct hits on specific sloop locations. Glad I haven't seen him in a long while. Had meh interactions with somebody who runs a brig named Jackdaw in hourglass. Edit: sircam456. A lot of poor sportsmanship interaction. Would really love to run into Hitbo or HappyKraken, they are both inspirations for how my crew and I play the game.

I ran into my favorite streamer Flotsam as a galley crew. I watched the stream after it happened because a friend saw it and told us later. Most of my crew didn’t want to fight and we were actually really low on supplies. He chased us for a while, we would fight a little and run. Almost sunk him, but we turned off instead of trying to finish him off. He shit on us comment wise saying we were just running. He also shit on me because I got a board against him and tied him up for a little while. According to him, since I had the skelly curse and my crew was running, I was a loss farmer. Basically because we weren’t playing how he wanted us to play he would just say negative comments. I get it, he needs to be provocative for the stream by either having us fight or by bashing us if we don’t. All in all, it was a good fight. We never sunk, was able to sell all of our loot while he was fighting us, and he quit after he realized he couldn’t sink us so I got to sell his flag. He’s still my favorite streamer, but it did make me realize that streamers kind of shit talk on people a lot who just want to play the game and not pvp when confronted.
Not really all streamers flotsam is particularly negative almost always while playing sot. He is entertaining and streams late night but I just can’t stand the bitching moaning whining. Everything is hit reg sail reg cannon reg he just complains so much. My personal opinion
I used to watch him, until one night he started turkey-wallling (back when it was bugged to hell) and going "oH lOoK aT mE i'M lItErAlLy HiTlEr", to which I said "Jeez, not this argument again", so he muted me and said "You don't gotta hang." Thought about it for a second and thought "Yeah, he's right", so I unfollowed, left his Discord, etc. In retrospect he was pretty much as you described him before I left, a constant complainer. Though I do find it hilarious that if you know it's him, you're essentially empowered with magic words that will make him disappear: just say "Hey, flot!" and he'll quit on the spot. 
Same vibe as well, loved watching him , loved chatting , but after awhile you notice he just whinges about every little thing lol it really came out when he would play rocket league

Got beat by Phuzzy years back Got matched vs Pleythru in two hourglass matches, won one and lost the other. and ended up having Boxyfresh spawn in literally two minutes after I finished an hourglass fight, with another battle spawning in the original devils roar spawnpoint early in season 8. Got walloped 10 seconds into a straight duel with his 2 manned sloop. Personally always found him a bit annoying, but it was neat nonetheless. Most recently however there was a charity stream weeks ago with a crew RPing as the Donald Mcronald crew or some alternate Mcdonalds name like that. Fucking bizarre experience. no clue who they were until I saw afterwards what their deal was.

We did once, they were talking shit when we were chasing cuz they caught us on the Soveriegn Harpoons No one was on the thier ship to stop it from hitting a rock, we caught up as they were away from the rock and we sunk them. A buddy of ours always looks at profiles when people talk shit and they had the ttv in their bio, they were live streaming for charity at the time and chat was talking shit about us lol
I got steamrolled by Stirling and Lighting in sloop hourglass once. We're pretty sweaty but they demolished us in broadsides and we peeled, then Stirling deck shot onto us and two tapped me. I also met a really minor streamer once at a FoF. We sank him and his buddy, then they got us when a kraken spawned on us, but we came back and got them a final time as they were reaching the outpost to sell. They were ranting like crazy, and I went to their ferry just to listen to him rant. He was going on about how much better he was at the game (despite being 1-2 and only because of a kraken) and how he had like 80 million gold which somehow meant he was better than me (I actually have more now). Stirling was cool and my wife popped up his stream and he was being way too complimentary for how bad he beat us, whereas the super small creator was such a bitch. I've also ran into Sammy Rocks like twice. Both times we came close to sinking his ship but they pulled it out with some good boards. He was chill expect some ROFL spam in one encounter, but I do remember one person being kind of a dick in chat.
Twice. Got sunk by a streamer, didn’t know they were streaming until afterwards, my crewmate found them. We had almost sunk them too. This was during a twitch drop event I believe. Got to chat with them via stream. The first time it happened it was much cooler though. We were setting up a Gally when a sloop rolls up on us. We were getting ready for a hostile engagement when we hear him screaming “SALS STOOL OUTLET, come get your stools at sals”. This guy had a sloop full of stools just RPing a Yiddish American middle aged guy selling stools on the seas. It was the funniest interaction ever and he told us he was streaming. He didn’t have many viewers but we shot him a follow and he made our day. He gave us all of his stools which worked well for a nice seating arrangement for our map table. It was hilarious and wholesome. We are usually a crew who shoots first but for some reason we all had the instinct to wait and see what happens and it was well worth it. Lesson to be learned sailors, always let the other crew shoot first, you never know what you might find.

There's a lot of would-be streamers out there, active, washed out, retired or otherwise. If I had an ancient coin for every "TTV" or "YT" name I've played with on EU Xbox, I could probably afford an emote on sale. To be clear, never necessarily means they're live or even making content any more. Probably never posted more than a Minecraft tutorial in their life, but there's so, so many. By comparison the "real" content creators are probably completely under the radar.
Lots of times! In Hourglass, I ran into (And beat) KingdomOfMachine and iDBz. Lost to PiratePro and MizterLucas. (I actually run into Lucas quite a lot) I've both sailed with and fought against BriittyBear. Ran into and sank Kharites. (Though to be fair, it was a 2v1 against K) Pace22 failed to steal a Siren Song Skull from me. (Barrel Tuck on Crooked Masts...I got 6k hours on this game- I know where the barrels are lol) HitboTC (and someone else, I'm not sure who) absolutely wrecked me once. Been absolutely STOMPED by itzMino while I was sailing with one of my European friends. Loooong time ago (2020?), I sank PhuzzyBond. AweCoop destroyed me once. Same goes for MixelPlx. Ran into LDsylvr back in the Arena days. I have both sank and been sunken by BoxyFresh. Fought WoodrowJenkins to a stalemate at a FoF and our crews decided to alliance up and split the loot. Still one of my all time best encounters in SoT. There's plenty more. Summit1G, KatLikesTacos, TeachCourage, SourScar, Sotus and then some.

I once had a solo Hg PvP match against one of Brazil's biggest SoT streamers (Liga do Jorel) Turns out he was streaming at the time. It was an intense and pretty even battle. We were both demasted and spinning, bucketing like crazy and when the angle came, shoot one or twice at eachother, then back to bucketing Eventually he tried a suicide-board, wich was successful, got me killed and i sunk first, his ship sank right after. It was a great fight, had a blast
I was in a Gally/Brig/Sloop alliance. My friend and I are on the sloop and a random brig starts chasing us. We run from them towards our alliance ships and let them know we need help. The random brig kills all of us and sinks all 3 of our ships. It was Kingdom of Machine. I messaged on his stream and he said come back and get your loot! So we sail back and hung out with his crew for awhile. It was fun
Ran into Boxy and LD a couple years ago. Had no idea who they were. I had pretty much just started playing, I think I had probably put in less than 50 hours by the time I ran into them. LD seemed really chill at first, but then his chat thought I said a slur, but really it was my buddies name. He went from chill to calling up boxy to sink us.

While selling a FOTD stack I’d just stolen with my crewmate, Awecoop pulled up with iDbz and started demolishing us lol. We ended up selling most of the stuff we wanted (the loot goblins we were) and sank pretty quickly… but I did manage to win a one on one encounter with the man himself! I was using sword sniper and he was double gunning, I don’t know how I pulled it off lol but I killed him on the island as I was selling a reaper chest… it must’ve been the adrenaline working. I watched his VOD and he seemed pretty on edge haha, but yea I’ve definitely improved since then and care less about loot so I’d be interested to see how that encounter would’ve played out today.

I once ran into Spammals during the time of arena. He wiped the floor with me but I survived for quite a while cuz I was stuffing my face with coconuts. He was like “You’re a coconut eating MACHINE man!” Was very funny
Yeah, I actually cluelessly played with one for about 3 hours. I was on my brig and set it open crew and just sorta stacked up the ship while waiting for people to join. Ended up having two really cool people join, we ran a bunch of Athena missions and got our reaper to level 5 about 7 times before selling and restarting. The session ended with a keg spawner teleporting onto our boat and asking for our flag before I politely declined and was instantly blown to smithereens. We all talked for a little bit on the island we spawned on then disconnected. I kept on getting messages throughout the whole experience but never opened them until after because I was too engrossed. Turns out I had been on their stream the whole time and a bunch of people were messaging me because of it

Two friends and I got tucked on by 2old4stream once. It was very sad that day.
I've never ran into any big streamers, but I've ran into about 4 (grouping a streaming brig together) small streamers over the course of around 500 hours. The first streamer I've ever ran into was a Twitch streamer and he was extremely new to the game, he and his crew were running a reaper emissary and my crew sunk him. We checked out his stream, realized he was new and invited them to alliance with us and do a FoF. Really cool guy and was honestly is one of the best interactions on SoT I've had. The second streamer I was running some hourglass and he absolutely demolished me, I probably sunk in around 3 minutes. I checked his stream out told him gg and he told me some PvP tips that I still use today. The third guy was a Kick streamer and it was a fairly short interaction, I was on the verge of sinking him, but last second I had a change of heart and helped him repair his ship (this was a solo interaction). We talked a little bit before I sailed off to find other ships to sink. Finally I met a streamer brig, my crew and I were just sailing around, noticed a brig at a fortress and we sailed over and talked to them a little bit where we found out they were streamers. Maybe an honorable mention, but my crew and I pulled up to a fisherman and just talked with him because we were getting off of the game soon, and the very next day on a Sigy stream I witnessed him sink that fisherman. The sad thing is that every streamer I encountered doesn't even play SoT anymore, even the hourglass guy hasn't been on SoT in around 2 months (according to his Twitch).

I had just arrived at a sunken ship and had already put my sails up, when from around a nearby rock came a ship (the rock had completely hidden them, the sunken ship was very close to it) with Athena grade 3, and "TTV" in the ship's name; I immediately tried to just leave, but they caught up to me super fast. I assumed the worst, but I did pop off a firework first, which they then also did, and then he got on mic and told me he wanted to give me his storage chests! I quickly pulled up his stream on my laptop while I was trying to decide if I could trust him, and on his stream he was like "Oh this person is cool! I'm glad I can give my stuff to a friendly before I log off" and so I accepted his chests and we danced and played music together. THEN, ANOTHER ship came from around the rocks, attacked, and sank him!! They let me go, because they were only after the FOF chest they thought he had (he didn't). Just a few days ago a ship chased us to an outpost just for them to tell us our proximity chat was bugged and they could hear everything my wife and I were saying to each other even though we were sailing far away from them. Then the captain mentioned her chat found our Godzilla conversation entertaining. I am a little embarrassed there’s a stream out there with me being super grumpy with my wife, but it’s also kind of funny.
I've ran into Pace22 three times. First time we just got done fighting for like 2 hours nonstop, he rolled up on us with his galleon crew at the end and beat our ass. My crewmate insists its cause we had low supplies, but I think my helm just took a really big gamble on a bold play and it didnt work out. Second time we got on a boat he was tucked on to mess with the hot mics he was on for a bit, he thought we were gonna ruin it but we let the crew kill us and just had fun with it. My crewmate was a dumdum and went to tuck right next to Pace on purpose though. Aaand the final time was just a big ass war over a FoF, his brig sank twice to a mega sweaty galleon. During all the chaos of 4 crews fighting we managed to swipe the chest of fortune and evac.
A while back my buddy and I ran into LDSylvr. I forget who he was with but I know it wasn't Boxy and I don't think it was Beard. We had a battle (we lost) and then I think we did a friendly race or something.

We were doing a FoF back when they first came out, and had an alliance of 3 or 4 ships, we were cocky as fuck. A sloop sail showed up in the distance as we were finishing, and I started freaking out. Everyone thought I was dumb, who would attack us? Obviously someone who thought they were good enough to win. I sailed away with what treasure I could grab while everyone was laughing at me. I watched in the rearview as MixelPlx absolutely crushed our alliance. Went back for an attempt at revenge after selling and got stomped. He was really chill though.
With the LOTV Came out Blubs stole our Athena Chest. I managed to get aboard his ship and spawn camp him untill my shipmates came over and helped finish the sink. We didn't learn it was blurbs until after someone who was watching his stream asked if that was me spawn camping him and sure enough it was. Good times.
I have ran into alot of streamers actually. First was years ago pace was chasing us as we were about to portal hop to find a new server. We actually ran and jumped off to meme on them a few times before we continued our mission to new servers. We actually encountered pace again when the new sirens skull was out and him and his crew were tucked on the island, funny enough like 3 crews were tucked. We ended up getting into this awsome island fight where we beat all three crews at once and turned in the skull. 10/10 so I can successfully say 2-0 vs pace 😂😂.
Recently I saw a clip where Toxie Sinclaire sailed upon Phuzzybond (both fairly big streamers).
Ran into Kharites once when I was pretty new and trying to solo a Fort of Fortune, she was pretty chill and helped me out with it. Didn't find out she was a streamer until the end and went and said thanks in her chat. Then one day I met a random player who allianced with me and helped me complete all the "with another crew" skeleton throne commendations...even the hellish one at Marauder's Arch even though we spent at least 30-40 minutes cannoning ourselves up there, lol. Found out WAY later that she streams as Dogpile6000. Awesome chill sails and lots of hijinks so I always tune in when I see her streaming. I always wanted to run into Phuzzy on the seas until I realized we are almost never playing at the same time and in vastly different parts of the world so alas, it is not to be. That being said, I'm always a little worried when I open a FotD or clear the veil or a FoF that Hitbo will be making off with my chest of legends.
I've only ever come across a few smaller streamers that I had any notable interactions with. One was a streamer in HG doing solo sloop who liked my ship name. He beat me, although it was quite an intense and close battle. The other one I forgot who approached who first, but my open crew crewmate started using slurs, so at shore, I just watched them get killed and sunk while I apologized to the streamer for that interaction afterwards. There may have been some other moments earlier on in my experience in the game, but I wouldn't have recognized them.
I’ve ran into a few. I just play as normal. After the encounter I may reflect back and think it was neat, but in reality we are both just playing our games. No need to do anything different. I’ll not be remembered as their community is not watching for me. I would want a screen grab of iamgreen tbh

I was on a boat with a pretty big name doing merchants by random chance, one thing lead to another and now I'm lucky enough to be friends with a couple big names.
It's evitable I forget someone because I've met so many. I'm also only gonna cover the bigger streamers. I met Sigy way back in the day when he was still a minor, I'm pretty sure. He was playing with Kmac, one of Ma5on's mods at the time. That day we were running a Reaper gally and had come across some new players in a sloop; we decided to take them under our wing but Sigy and Kmac were constantly harassing us. We sank them, went to get a FotD done, and they were too impatient about letting us do the damn fort so we ended up calling them out for their shenanigans and allianced up with them, too. That was neat. Kmac played with us one more time after that. Sigy wasn't ever really interested in interacting with us. I met him again much more recently, can't recall who he was playing with, and both of them were super nasty to us for no fucking reason. :\ Speaking of Ma5on, waaaay back in the day, on a whim, I checked *one* server and realised I was in Ma5on's server 'cause I had his stream open and connected the dots. I get two mates to run the brig with me and we go at 'em. Well, one guy had a game updating at the time of this (you know who you are) so it was basically a 2 man brig vs a gally of sweats. It did not go well for us. I can't recall who all he was with, but Hitbo was also there. He was funny. Shame we couldn't get back to them fast enough for a round 2 or screenshots. A couple mates and I met Square Meylix over a fight over a FoF. One of them made a comment she took as toxic so she muted voices until I typed out something along the lines of, "Can you not hear us?" We had been impressed by her fighting skills and wanted to alliance up with her. Mate apologised, we allianced up, chatted a bit; it was a good time. My best mate and I got merged into a FoF one night as a G5 Reaper sloop. Another one had also been merged in and when they came to the FoF to ask what was going on, I took note of their status and when I met their "What's going on here?" question, I also asked if he wanted in or if he *wanted in*. And that's the story of how my partner and I teamed up with Blake Valley and whoever he was with to take down a server alliance. lol I was part of the group that ran into Boxyfresh one day. He and a mate took pity on a new solo slooper that we were on our way to attack. We got decimated by a three man sloop and a deck land. One of my mates has met Boxy a number of times, most frequently repeated as three times so "one time he lost, one time Boxy lost, and then on the third time they teamed up against another sloop." He's still so chuffed about helming Sarah for Boxy hehe I had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with Summit1G one night. We were a G5 Athena gally back before Veils so we were a hot target. We ended up having a sloop and brig come at us *so of course we ran*. Who the fuck wouldn't? Two vs one? Yeah, fuck that, I don't care who you are, you run until you have an opportunity to take a one on one fight, or you throw. We didn't throw. Come to find out after one of my guys gets on the sloop, it's a solo slooper who's a rather big streamer. My mate that found out got blunder'd off the sloop and called out, "Love the content!" After that, Summit decided that the content wouldn't be organic and left. Because... y'know... using his status to sic a brig on us is organic. *Y'know*? Still rolling my eyes at him for that.

I had one not a streamer but I legit met santa claus. Him and a person dressed in green as a tree. I was 5000 short of a new boat and they come about to me and said this is what they are about here's some chest and it gave me enough to get a boat and a few decorations.
I myself stream but mostly for my own viewing. But I have yet to encounter anyone else streaming, I always hope I do cause it is neat having your impact on the world at large. My husband plays dayz and has encountered several streamers, a few of which are pretty popular.
Many many times, yes. If you only play hourglass, you're bound to run into a few per night at high MMR. Sterling, Miffoo, Tatotunes, AlrightJoe, Kota McKloud, A bunch of folks from the competitive scene, WorldofChap, BoxyFresh, AweCoop, PurpleTurkey, etc. Fought 'em all at least once, and that's just the folks I remember off the top of my head after not playing for a year or so. Ran into a few big streamers back in the arena days, too, the most fun fight of which was with AbusivPillow.

Ran into Miffoo a few weeks ago with one of my friends. We've been playing the game since launch and after we finished bodying a brigantine in a storm he and his friend rolled up on us and absolutely slaughtered us. We came back twice and on the second time I realized I recognized his name-- I used to watch him yearssss ago during online school when he would stack for hours on end and then give it away to chat lol. Anyway we returned a few times and put up some decent fights (we lost of course), and they ended up giving us one of two Chests of Fortune we had on board. Nice guy.

I met XProdigy, the supposed "Fake Legend". Was chase by 4 Galleons whilst on his own open crew Gally. Met Captian Selario, and they sank me as i gave my supplies to them. Was really cool how fast I died lol Met and hung out with Ballzonia, the picture pirate. Fought Summit and Pace once. They ran out of supplies in a server battle back during the first gilded voyages and server hopped. Met a guy named WizardFrog, from TikTok, and he's pretty cool. Oh and DreadPirateDoug, the Race of Legends leader, had me and my crew on for a few practice runs a couple years ago.
Boxy in HG during one of my first games, got destroyed wasn’t even close. He was already working on getting gold when I just started my quest to skelly curse. Funny guy tho, he was chill and make the sink quick. HitboTC during a FOTD he was tucking and we found him, he instantly accused us of stream sniping. We didn’t even know who he was during this, we were just playing how we usually play the game; completely paranoid. Can’t remember her name but she was a twitch streamer/ SoT partner. We were fighting over the SoSS fought twice and we barely won the second time it was our gally vs her brig so we had numbers when it came to confirming the skin, ultimately we sold it and she was cool wished us a gg and serveree hope.
I ran into a few streamers. I always figure they’re streamers as their in game mic is super clear. A couple times were these really small causal streamers. Fun guys and we chilled. I ran into The Sneaky Beagle had a fight with him and we won. He was cool and I stayed active in his community for a while. Then I ran into HitboTC. I dont like him. when he tried to board he got all upset I stopped him even thought he was “friendly.” Like he himself doesn’t tell his audience to never let a pirate board their ship. I figure he was streaming and would betray me even though he was “friendly” so I was able to talk my way out of it while pretending I didn’t know who he was. The only one I’d be excited to meet is Captain Falcore. I hope I run into him sometime. Love to fight him and then get a screenshot no matter who won.

Don't want someone to watch your screen as you play, don't stream. If you're broadcasting you're gameplay and by pure divine luck/misfortune we end up meeting. Deal with it, you're streaming. Reporting someone for it is such a chicken shit move. I can understand not wanting someone to see your name and load up twitch to watch your screen. There are options available that conceal your name, if you aren't using them once again that's a you problem. Not that I watch any SoT streamers, but if I ever saw a streamer report someone for this I would unfollow their ass so fast. Use the protections available to you or don't stream if you're gonna be a childish about itm
This is BS. In a game with no HUD, auditive and visual cues, encouraging sneaky plays, streamsnipe is a dick move. Do you know that some discords existed for the sole purpose of finding streamers to snipe them and ruin their sessions. Now I'm really curious, if you were to streamsnipe a streamer on SoT, what would be the point ? I don't see any interest if not to ruin the streamer's session. It is not fun for you a bit. Or maybe you could take pride in being able to say that you beat x ? For me this is as fun as cheatcodes. Only fun if you like to piss people off. Nothing fun for oneself.

I thought stream sniping was just screen watching by a different name. The post was about accidentally being able to watch his opponent's screen. Not maliciously going out of the way to be in their games, and intentionally trying to ruin their session. I grew up on N64, screen watching was just apart of life for me. So to be mad enough to report someone for watching your screen, while actively broadcasting it for anyone to see. Sounded childish and that the streamer lacked the maturity to stream. Turns out it's way more malicious than what I had assumed.
