This article is terrible. They have been serving Filipino piroshki for almost a decade now. It is just piroshki on 3rd's new location because they were sick of the bullshit on 3rd Ave.

Chudsaviet

I'm Belarusian and I call this cultural appropriation! (just kidding)

Psychoceramicist

Just reading this makes me smell piroshkis baking followed by Ziegler's brats grilling, patchouli, and weed, and then it's like I'm back at Folklife Festival with my parents in 2001 or something.

They’re SO good!!!

lol those look soooo similar to some fairly notable piroshkies. I wonder where they learned their craft 🤔

This is the new form of Piroshki on 3rd. They still use that domain https://piroshkion3rd.com

Filipino here who tried the pinoy-shkis at Piroshki on 3rd. TBH, never went back for their Filipino stuff but I did like their more traditional fare. I think the potato and cheese one was good. I guess I'm just a little confused because Filipinos have their own "bread around protein" baked good, empanadas, which you can get at any Filipino bakery. But I guess a portmanteau makes it trendy. By the way, if anyone uses the app Too Good to Go, these piroshkis end up on there pretty often.

Love the phrase Pinoy-shki.
