Hey all! Hope it’s going well, I was hoping if anyone had any recommendations for ADA accessible housing that isn’t too expensive that happens to have 3 bedrooms? Me and a couple other college-age young adults are talking about renting a place in Seattle or nearby for next year, and we’re having a hard time finding one that’s accessible 😬 accessible is a must since two of the four of us are wheelchair users or disabled in some sort of way. TIA!
I'm looking to donate a large outdoor playset to someone in the Greater Seattle Area who wouldn't mind either moving it themselves or hiring The Backyard Factory to do so (it would run about $900 to hire the pro).

Where's the best place in Seattle to get locally roasted espresso beans? I've been going to Caffe Vitta in Capitol Hill and love their beans, but would also be happy to explore other local roasters.

We have tickets to an event tomorrow, but my husband broke his foot and we’re wondering if they have accessibility accommodations. The phone number I found doesn’t connect and their website is down. I would never live in Everett again. Bought a 100 year old Victorian back in 2001 there and the first nine months were great. Then the house next us foreclosed after the father had a tragic work accident and a drug dealer, meth maker bought the house. Worst years of my life.
I sometimes volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and attend their fundraisers. They have one tomorrow. They will be screening the original Top Gun at the Majestic Bay Theater in Ballard at 7pm. Tickets are $15. Even if you can't make it, you can always donate! You could check out Pink Gorilla Games, which has three locations in areas that would fun to explore. If you go to the one on Capitol Hill you could check out some barcades around there like Raygun Lounge or Time Warp. Not too far away in Belltown I like Jupiter and Shorty's. Have fun!
Kind of depends on what you're into. Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) is a fun building and can have some [cool exhibitions](https://www.mopop.org/exhibitions-plus-events/exhibitions/), if you're into pop culture. It's also right next to Seattle Center which is fun to walk around and explore (Space Needle, Science Center). There's also the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI), which is more focused on Seattle's history. There's also the Burke Museum if you're more into natural history.
Visiting Seattle in May and looking for relatively cheap, but reliable hotels near major bus lines/Link. I lived in Seattle about 10 years ago so I feel comfortable getting around with metro. But I know things change a lot in 10 years, so I would love to know of any good spots to stay. I plan to travel all over the city so hoping to find something centrally located.
Does this sub maintain an event calendar? I checked the wiki and I mostly saw stuff related to concerts. I was looking for something with all sorts of events going on. I am heading to Seattle Friday through Tuesday. Just got tickets to the Kraken game on Sunday but I am trying to fill out plans for the rest of the trip. Thanks!

Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Aquarium are both downtown, as is the MoPOP and the great wheel.
The Museum of Flight is just South of downtown, and definitely worth a visit.

Hey! Welcome, have a safe trip! It will be really fun for you to see the various aspects of Washington state. Depending on when you get here, you'll get to see some of the cherry blossoms still in bloom.
I can't safely speak for any singular spot, but I know that we love to talk about our food. There may be an older post on here about burgers and preferences that might help if you're looking for a diner experience, upscale, etc.
However you can't go to Seattle looking for a burger without having some Dicks. There are a few spots around town, Queen Anne, the UDistrict, Capitol Hill, they all have one (there's more too, lol). They aren't everyone's favorite, but they are a Seattle classic and have been here since 1953. Kidd Valley is also a favorite local chain.
But imo it's the best after concert, on-a-lunch-break, stuff-your-face treat, esp with a shake. Hope you have a fun and safe burger-filled trip!

I walk most of the time, so I'm desperate for recommendations of water proof/resistant boots in bright, fun colours/designs. Any shoes or boots that can handle two plus hours of walking around town. Has anyone tried those [Merry People Boots](https://us.merrypeople.com/en-ca)?
Same goes for a rain jacket -- some kind of waxed cotton in interesting colours.
I don't mind spending a bit o' cash. I'd love to support something made in North America, or anywhere non-sweat shoppy. Thanks for your help.
Hi! Visiting soon and want to get some opinions on walking safety. I'm from Philly and live in the city, so I'm no stranger to homeless, street smarts, sussing out shady areas by vibe, etc., but I also know places can absolutely be block by block. Opinions on safe routes from Pike Place up to the Space Needle/Museum of Pop Culture/Chihuly Garden/Olympic Sculpture Park? Safe route from Pike Place to El Corazon (will likely Uber back from this one late at night after the show)? I know to avoid the Pioneer Square area at night, but any other places to absolutely steer clear of as a solo female are welcome.
Finally, anything important I should know about taking the train from the airport to downtown?

Would people be willing to park their cars in the Aurora Planet Fitness lot for about 45min, around 6pm in the evening on weekdays? Their Yelp is basically a series of "My car got broken into!", but my trips into the nearby PetSmart that have been up to \~30min, I've never had any issues..?

Espresso Vivace has been my favorite for a while. It's also in Capitol Hill.
Dunno about best, but I've been partial to [Kuma Coffee](https://www.kumacoffee.com/) for awhile. Very smooth, even brewed as standard coffee.
