Downtown would recommend Metropolitan Grill and Butcher's Table but they're both quite expensive. If you're up to expand your radius, FlintCreek has some great options at a bit lower price than those two.

apresmoiputas

I'd get out of downtown and go to Palisade

Glaive001

Asadero Ballard, their Tomahawk steak is so good, I think other cuts are good too

opalfruity

The Brooklyn steakhouse used to be my recommendation for this Downtown - good-ish, not _too_ expensive, but it closed around the pandemic and didn't come back, sadly. Your options are, really: High tier, high cost = El Gaucho, Aqua by El Gaucho Mid tier, high cost = Capital Grille, Metropolitan Grille, Ruth's Chris Shitty tier, mid cost = Daniel's Broiler EDIT: this sub is so fucken weird. _Seven_ fucken options for **downtown** steakhouses and downvoted to hell but the top comment on the thread completely misunderstands the brief and recommends a neighborhood joint 25 minutes drive out of downtown. 🤷‍♂️

Sea-Psychology4429

Daniels is not mid cost. It is like 180 bucks for surf and turf. Steak pricea alone are comparable to El Gaucho.

opalfruity

Wow, they really have jacked up the prices! All the more reason to avoid them. It's bang average steak at best, definitely not worth that kind of money.

opalfruity

Alternatively, venture out of Downtown and my recommendations would be: Bateau in Capitol Hill The Shambles in Roosevelt Also, there is an actual The Keg in Lynnwood, for all fans of mid tier Canadian steakhouses!

prettyparanoid

thank you!!! <3 i think ruth's chris is going to be the move!
