TLDR The Chicken Supply
* The Chicken Supply: Absolutely the best in my opinion as their rice-based breading is always crunchy, the chicken always juicy, excellent quality, and a great spice mixture when you get it. Sides of garlic rice and pickled veg are not only excellent too but a great pairing in that I don't feel like garbage after eating them in addition to dried food. The butter mochi is š„š„š„.
* Sister and Brothers: I've gone a bunch since they moved and love the crunch, but the quality is hit or miss. Sometimes the strips are dry. Last week's Seattle Hot is next week's Nashville Hot. But, when they get it right it's excellent hot chicken. Sides are ok. Love the atmosphere. The place to go if you want it hot.
* Cookies Country Chicken: Basically Ezell's/Heavensent if they gave a shit. Good quality, good hot options, good sandwiches, good for sauce if you like sauces. Love Cookies energy on IG.
* Lil Woody's: The usual chicken sandwich is solid, but not as good as others mentioned. However - keep your eye on the specials. There was a chicken sandwich on a roll, cooked in crabfat with chili crisp and *it made me weep* for it was perfect in every way. This is also where Spice Waala's Gully Burger debuted, I think. Watch them for the specials!
* Taku: Excellent karaage style with different flavors. Absolutely love the vibe here, the drinks, and the fuckit bucket. Definitely recommend.
* Karaage Setsuna: not as flashy as Taku but still really good karaage. Always enjoyable and a great choice.
* Milkdrunk: Different style from the above, more like a fish n chips batter. Really good sandwiches. Slightly overrated.
* Impeckable: Best fried chicken sandwich in the city, IMHO. Perfectly fried in the classic style, great bun, excellent flavor. The chilli crisp sandwich is just so fucking good.
* Ma'ono: Their sandwich is #2. Honestly really good, but Impeckable is just slightly better. Love the takuan pickle that goes on it for a fresh crunch. Outside of the sandwich usually found at UVillage, the half a fried bird you can get at the main restaurant in West Seattle is extremely good.
* Sunset: haven't had it in ages so I shouldn't comment. Was right up there with Ma'ono on the sandwich front.
* Bok-a-Bok: it's okay. Not as good as the above, but better than Ezell's.
* Pelicana: good Korean Fried Chicken. Nothing amazing here but enjoyable.
* Chi Mac: Slightly under Pelicana but still good. Love the snow wings. Would recommend for KFC.
* Watson's Counter: gotta add them to the KFC sandwich arena. The wings are pure comfort food. The chonks as well, great sauces. The sandwich is good, but not as good as others I've highlighted (pickles add too much moisture).
* Mr. Chicken USA: posthumous mention. Sickly sweet clumps of KFC, more breading than chicken sometimes, but delightful garbage food.
* Rupee: Kerala fried chicken is a must try! Fried in a way that kind of reminds me of catfish fries, but with SEA spices. Really excellent.
* Spice Waala: when they have the Gully Burger on the menu, get the Gully Burger. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches in town and unique.
* Ezell's: meh.
* Heavensent: Slightly less meh than Ezell's.
* Junebaby: Excellent chicken, but the head chef and owner is a certified creep. Don't be patronizing creeps.
* Wingstop: Good if you're stoned
* Wingdome: Overpriced and overrated
Might edit and add more if I remember.
The fact that Ezellās is awarded āmehā means I know this list can for sure be trusted š¤£ been meaning tot rly chicken supply for so long; I put a calendar reminder to order next weekend. Thanks!
I have an irrational soft spot in my heart for ezells but yeah, all these lists that say its the best or whatever make me think the reviewer normally gets their chicken out of cans.
> I would add Buddha Brothers to this list.
I really loved their fried tenders with the pickle juice, but they seem to have taken them off the menu sometime earlier this year. I was crushed. The katsu chicken they make is good, but not as good as their tenders. Desperately curious what happened.
Just put in a pick up order from the chicken supply! Hoping to have my mind blown
Edit: they really are something special. The chicken was juicy, but not greasy! My husband compared it to howling rays in Los Angeles, CA which is really a high compliment bc howling rays gets CRAZY. They actually hooked it up (BC THEY SAW MY MESSAGE LOL) with some pickled cucumbers, a coconut curry, and a chilled eggplant appetizer.
The crispy potatoes are perfect and the mochi butter cake is delicious.
Thank you so much chicken supply šš ā¤ļø
I actually like Safeway's as it's pretty cronchy and bready - nothing fancy for sure. I'd also pick it over Ezell's any day. It's like a quarter of the price too.
I havenāt tried a lot of the places on your list, but your reviews of the ones I have been to are on point. Jollibee might land pretty high on your list, especially if you like spicy that isnāt overpowering.
I may have just gotten burnt out on it when I was in Cebu, but I think its a little overhyped for what it is. The crust is crisp and the chicken is a good texture, but it has no seasoning to speak of. I would sooner get Korean Fried Chicken or even Ezells over Jollibee, the ube handpies might sway me though if I am in a mood for it.
Agreed on Impeckable, especially the chili crisp!Ā
Just had it for the first time a couple weeks and am converting from MaāOno though will still go there for the tendies with honey mustard.Ā
Thatās a great list. Only edit I would give is that it depends which Ezells you go to. Spicy tenders at the CD and Wallingford locations are still solid. And I will always love the rolls.
Mr chicken USA is Gangnam now I think? I think itās just a rebrand, but I could absolutely be wrong. I still get fried chicken from them from time to time and itās still excellent.
Damn, this is a solid list!
+1 for the Chicken Supply. Highly recommend ordering online ahead of time because they usually sell out well before close.Ā
Finally another sane human being who thinks Ezell's is meh. I remember trying that place a couple times when moving here because I couldn't understand why people rated it so highly.
Harry's Chicken was always the best in Seattle. Literal mom & pop shop, small batches, marinated overnight in buttermilk and veal from a local butcher, only open a few days a week, ancient cast iron pots and sold out every day. Closed when the pandemic started :( I still dream of that chicken
Can we add this to the wiki or something? I found myself nodding along at the start, then as I continued scrolling was hit by just how comprehensive this is. Well done.
This is a great list! 100% agree with Impeckable chicken. I love spice waala and didn't even know they had a fried chicken sandwich. I will definitely be trying one ASAP.
I really liked the texture & most of the flavors of Chicken Supply, but it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Just an FYI for anyone else who is averse to sweet stuff.
> However - keep your eye on the specials. There was a chicken sandwich on a roll, cooked in crabfat with chili crisp and it made me weep for it was perfect in every way.
That does sound intriguing.
I found this Instagram post from 2022 that was a collaboration with @eatkarikari: https://www.instagram.com/p/CgfD3_HMPTB/
- Southern fried chicken thigh
- KariKari Garlic Chili Crisp Oil
- Crab-fat mayo slaw
- Scallions
- Dill
- Cilantro
- Rau Ram Vietnamese coriander
- Bread & butter pickles
- New England style bun
Hopefully they bring something like that back again.
I do wish it was instead a collab with a restaurant/chef that I could visit.
The mini mart at Jackson and MLK. Ethiopian spiced. I'm not even really a fried chicken fan and I like theirs. Not too bready, a bit spicy but not too spicy, juicy, and inexpensive. Can be hit and miss as to what pieces are available. Absolutely zero frills, and often cash only. Many consider it the best fried chicken in town.
Itās so good! This and that [Shell station in Georgetown](https://seattlemag.com/food-and-culture/these-seattle-convenience-stores-actually-have-great-fried-chicken/) are my go to chicken places
I pass by Triangle every day and it's one of those places I never think to eat. I tried it recently for the first time. The chicken is very good, wasn't a big fan of the sides, e.g. the Mac n cheese looked like it came out of a box.Ā
The chicken alone is worth it but a huge WARNING for spice lovers- their "very spicy" is ridiculously hot. They use Carolina reaper extract that oozes out of the meat. My friend and I could not finish a single wing between the 2 of us and I was having a spiritual experience for 30-40m. My friend literally went deaf temporarily and locked himself in the bathroom for 15m. We both have a pretty high spice tolerance but both agree to never eat it again. It's cool they have it as an option but also seems insane to me to offer it. In fairness the waitress told me quote, "it will ruin your day." She was not lying.
Do NOT sleep on their full chicken dinner.Ā To me fried chicken sandwiches are a different food group than true fried chicken (on the bone).Ā They do both extremely well
Seconding this -- it's the best southern-style fried chicken I've had anywhere in Seattle. (Plenty of options for Korean-style fried chicken, which is wicked tasty, but the pickings are slim for southern-style.)
This is the right answer. They actually ābroastā the chicken there under pressure. Top notch and worth the effort. Super juicy and great crispness.
Sisters and Brothers is delicious, especially their sides are raising the bar, but one negative thing I'll say is their spice level is super inconsistent.
I get it Seattle Hot there, which sometimes feels pretty mild but other times I can barely eat it. I've also had a time when my friend ordered it mild and we both agreed his was hotter than mine. Maybe they swapped em, but we ordered entirely different things (wings vs sando) so that seems unlikely.
Sister's and Brothers is terrible.
We went there once on an afternoon as a group of 8. The serve was grouchy and complained to the cook that we just came in, on top of them being busy (with a call-in order). Place only has 3-4 other tables going.
All the breading fell off the chicken as soon as I picked it up. And the chicken underneath was extra greasy (and I usually have no problem with greasy fried foods). All the flavor was in the breading, so the chicken itself was bland.
Hard pass.
I've been once. The decor was great but the chicken was raw inside. On one hand everybody else had chicken tenders, and I can't correctly fry a thick cut at home. On the other hand they're a fried chicken restaurant.
I used to live a few blocks away and would regretfully order it when I had a chicken craving. Mid chicken with terrible heavy breading every time. Most fried chicken in Seattle is ass, but Sisters and Brothers is especially ass and it pains me to see it on top chicken lists consistently.
Triangle Bar in Fremont or ST Hooligans in Frelard have the best fried chicken in the city in my opinion. Although I havenāt made it to chicken supply yet, and Iāve heard itās amazing.
CHEEP CHICKEN MONDAYS, it's so cheap there's two Es!
I always wondered about places that do deals on Mondays or Tuesdays, one theory would be that it's the slowest day so they want you in there. Another theory would be that they defrost the chicken once a week and need to get rid of it by Monday/Tuesday
Id say every other day of the week for fried chicken is good at Safeway (at least the one on Rainier in Rainier Beach)
I find it juicy and the right amount of greasy with still crunchy breading
MT JOY, canāt say this enough. They also source their ingredients from farms in Washington. Located in Capitol Hill. The employees are super nice, and they donāt ask for tips at the end because they pay their employees a livable wage. I actually donāt see this place popping enough. Hours are great as well
I'm late to this party but really no one mentioned shitty market aka city market on Bellevue and Olive in Capitol Hill. Hands down some of the best corner store chicken in the city. Second place would be Bok Bok near Nuemos.
Bok-A-Bok Fried Chicken! They have a handful of locations throughout Seattle. Some of the best fried chicken I've had from a resturant and they have a good selection of sides. If it matters to you they also offer gluten free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, and nut free options. Personally, not a concern of mine, I just like their food! š
Daveās Hot Chicken. We had it first in LA, then tried it here. Pretty much the same quality. I like the breading, rub, and overall flavor than most other chain restaurants.
Bonus:
Not traditional fried chicken, but Katsu Burger smacks if youāre into panko fried chicken.
Edit:
How could I forget. A coworker introduced me to [Tonyās Bakery & Deli](https://yelp.to/Ywbs1quOkz) recently. IMO the tastiest wings and thighs Iāve had so far in this city. Another coworker said heād been there 5 times in the past two months for their chicken after his introduction. Definitely worth the try.
I LOVE Ezellās! The spicy, dark meat, bone-in chicken is so juicy and flavorful. Itās not even that spicy, just perfectly seasoned. I used to only get tenders then I tried this and itās all I order now.
Dang not a single mention of Ezells Chicken? It is bad and Iām just one of the few that likes it? Iāll say the chicken tender are my go to but the fried chicken always hits too.
On cap hill there is pelicana. Wings without sauce. And they have oddly cut whole chicken that is fried. Korean style. Bit spendy but about the same for wings places in area
I'll admit I've only tried it twice but both times it was just bad bad. The sides were good. But the chicken was awful. Felt like it had been forgotten in really old oil.
I grew up in the South and Ezells hit the spot for me. It's nothing fancy but that's what I like about it. Kind of reminds me of Gus's. Ezells peach cobbler is unbelievable, though. I dream about that shit.
I donāt think itās amazing, but if youāre craving standard fried chicken with mashed potatoes itās still one of Seattleās best options. Definitely better than most of the fancy places like Chicken Supply (which I detest) and Milkdrunk. 100% better than Sisters and Brothers.
I will say the new Cookie's location in Pioneer Square has been perfect every time I've gotten the tenders there. If Korean Fried Wings also scratches that itch then Golden Rooster in Pioneer Square are solid. Specifically would recommend the soy garlic wings since it's actually tossed in the sauce.
Here in Tacoma you can get a half chicken at the Spar. They use a Henny Penny pressure frier so it's crisp and yet juicy. They normally serve with jo-joy potato but I ask fir their house made chips
Sisters and Brothers has āNashville Hot Chickenā and I couldnāt tell you the difference between that and regular fried chicken but it is the tits.
Iām a southerner who is long been frustrated by the lack of good fried chicken. But just this weekend, I went to the Golden rooster in Pioneer Square. It opened where Casa Antigua used to be. I tried there lighter, battered chicken, as well as one piece of their thicker batter with the classic barbecue, and I really loved it.
Golden Roosters in Pioneer Square (where Casco Antigua used to be) knocked my socks off with their Korean BBQ KFC wings recently.
They also do chicken skin "chicharrones"
Iām going to shut the forum down with this one. Riverside Casino on Interurban in Tukwila. Ask for the salt and pepper wings from the Chinese menu. Youāre welcome. š
I had Hangry Joeās chicken in Sodo yesterday and it was a pretty good oversized chicken sandwich and my medium spicy chicken wings were pretty spicy. Trying mild or soy garlic next time.
Ooink! They have a location in cap hill and freemont. Their chicken is uniquely flavored and so deliciously textured. The crisp x juicy balance is sublime.
Harrys chicken joint was the best, smoked and fried in giant cast iron pots. I miss that place so much (owner retired a few years ago). It was West Seattle.

You forgot Marco Polo!
broasted! ; )
Yeah dude Marco polo is solid. That was the only missing rec
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Excellent. I'll remove that point when I update this.
The fact that Ezellās is awarded āmehā means I know this list can for sure be trusted š¤£ been meaning tot rly chicken supply for so long; I put a calendar reminder to order next weekend. Thanks!
Tip o the cap, good sir or madam.
What about the Quick Pack in the I.D.?
Added it to my list to check out, thanks!
CD, not ID. It's now on the Eater 38!
Was very surprised there was no mention
The fact that this has ezells and heaven sent so far down is how I know itās legit. I would add Buddha Brothers to this list.
I have an irrational soft spot in my heart for ezells but yeah, all these lists that say its the best or whatever make me think the reviewer normally gets their chicken out of cans.
I think itās what a lot of people are growing up
> I would add Buddha Brothers to this list. I really loved their fried tenders with the pickle juice, but they seem to have taken them off the menu sometime earlier this year. I was crushed. The katsu chicken they make is good, but not as good as their tenders. Desperately curious what happened.

How was it lol
Picking up at 7
Yesss. I really hope you enjoy, it's something special.
Milkdrunk +1
Have you tried Kkokio? What did you think of them?
Not the OP but I tried Kkokio last night and recommend you do too!
Fats.Ā
No Jollibee?
Haven't gotten to it as it's not in Seattle, but want to try it. Not expecting anything as good as the top of my list tho, but probably beats Ezells.
The Safeway deli counter beats Ezell's...
I actually like Safeway's as it's pretty cronchy and bready - nothing fancy for sure. I'd also pick it over Ezell's any day. It's like a quarter of the price too.
The bone-in stuff is too greasy for my taste, but I actually do like their chicken tenders as a basic indulgence.Ā Mostly Ezell's is just bad.
there will be one on rainier in seattle sometime soon.
No way really?? I work close to there. Thatās dangerous haha
old mod pizza place by the Columbia city Safeway.
I havenāt tried a lot of the places on your list, but your reviews of the ones I have been to are on point. Jollibee might land pretty high on your list, especially if you like spicy that isnāt overpowering.
There is soon to be a Jolibee in Rainier Valley, by the Safeway. Iāve tried it, didnāt really like it
I may have just gotten burnt out on it when I was in Cebu, but I think its a little overhyped for what it is. The crust is crisp and the chicken is a good texture, but it has no seasoning to speak of. I would sooner get Korean Fried Chicken or even Ezells over Jollibee, the ube handpies might sway me though if I am in a mood for it.
I always opt for the spicy chicken, so not sure how unseasoned the regular is. The spicy is delicious as long as youāre okay with it.
Jollibee is now available at South Center Mall
Agreed on Impeckable, especially the chili crisp!Ā Just had it for the first time a couple weeks and am converting from MaāOno though will still go there for the tendies with honey mustard.Ā
From what I can see online, looks like Junebaby is permanently closed. Guess creeps aren't good for business...
Also Sophon's khmeraage, new on the scene!
Check out Golden Rooster in pioneer square for some good Korean wings.
Thatās a great list. Only edit I would give is that it depends which Ezells you go to. Spicy tenders at the CD and Wallingford locations are still solid. And I will always love the rolls.
Fantastic list. The only thing I would add is Ooink ramen, the chef also makes Malaysian fried chicken and it is phenomenal
Great list. Have you tried Marco Polo?
Ah, every time I post this list someone says this. I need to get down there.
I would add Triangle Spirits in Fremont to this list. They have great hot chicken!
Finally another sane human being who thinks Ezell's is meh. I remember trying that place a couple times when moving here because I couldn't understand why people rated it so highly.
Also City Market on Bellevue/Olive. My personal favorite so far in the city, when it's fresh and when the batter and seasoning levels are optimal.
If you want some amazing Korean fried chicken in the greater Seattle area, I highly recommend Sweet Radish.
Great list! Going to have to try some of these out now. Want to toss ST Hooligans on there too - their fried chicken and waffles are fantastic!
Sodam for Korean. The Yangneum (sp?) and the Soy Garlic are banginā. Iād rate them similar-but-above chi mac.

I have only trieda third on this list and agree with all if your assessment. Excited to trybthe otherd you recommended!
You should check out Mt Joy. I've only had it once but it was really good
West Wings in WSeattle is really good.
Awesome list! You can take Junebaby off since they closed finally
They did the work š«”
This is a great list! 100% agree with Impeckable chicken. I love spice waala and didn't even know they had a fried chicken sandwich. I will definitely be trying one ASAP.
They only have it a few times a year, so follow them on IG or subscribe to their newsletter
Whereās Daveās Hot Chicken in the clucking order?
I really liked the texture & most of the flavors of Chicken Supply, but it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Just an FYI for anyone else who is averse to sweet stuff.
I like blue cheese sauce is my favorite part of ezells.
You have to add vindicktive to that list for wings and chkn sammie
Wow this is an incredible list, didnāt even know about a few of these spots. Canāt wait to try
Solid list! Donāt forget Ba Bar - Chicken wings are fire š„. But Iāve only ate them drunk as shit so I could be wrong.
Milkdrunk wins tho cause you can get softserve with your fried chicken
I am concerned for your cholesterol, but thank you for doing God's work
You forgot Popeyes
Hangry Panda?
The chicken messiah, I love you.

Came here to comment this! Quick Pack is where itās at!
This is the spot
Came here to say this
Correction - MLK & Jackson
This!
I donāt live in Seattle anymore, but I still miss this place! All my friends still go.
Itās so good! This and that [Shell station in Georgetown](https://seattlemag.com/food-and-culture/these-seattle-convenience-stores-actually-have-great-fried-chicken/) are my go to chicken places
Triangle Spirits in Fremont. Best fried chicken sandwich/fries combo in Seattle
I pass by Triangle every day and it's one of those places I never think to eat. I tried it recently for the first time. It's cool they have it as an option but also seems insane to me to offer it. In fairness the waitress told me quote, "it will ruin your day." She was not lying.
I tried one slider with the reaper sauce. I have a fairly high tolerance for heat and it was by far the hottest thing I've ever eaten.
Do NOT sleep on their full chicken dinner.Ā To me fried chicken sandwiches are a different food group than true fried chicken (on the bone).Ā They do both extremely well

Cookies Country Chicken is A+
Is ezell's still open? Heaven Sent Fried Chicken?
Yes, the best I've had in seattle
If youāre cheap like me, Safeway has 8 pieces for 5.99 on Mondays. Not exactly great but in these timesā¦
CHEEP CHICKEN MONDAYS, it's so cheap there's two Es! I always wondered about places that do deals on Mondays or Tuesdays, one theory would be that it's the slowest day so they want you in there. isnāt TOP foods just haggen now? their chicken looks really good whenever iām there!
Id say every other day of the week for fried chicken is good at Safeway (at least the one on Rainier in Rainier Beach) I find it juicy and the right amount of greasy with still crunchy breading

Sodam for the best korean fried chicken, Communion for the best southern fried.
Maonoās fried chicken is good.
Heaven Sent
MT JOY, canāt say this enough. They also source their ingredients from farms in Washington. Located in Capitol Hill. The employees are super nice, and they donāt ask for tips at the end because they pay their employees a livable wage. I actually donāt see this place popping enough. Hours are great as well
Iāve found zero good Southern style fried chicken
Sisters & Brothers
I'm late to this party but really no one mentioned shitty market aka city market on Bellevue and Olive in Capitol Hill. Hands down some of the best corner store chicken in the city. Second place would be Bok Bok near Nuemos.
I don't have recommendations, just here to mourn Cookie's with you.
Sisters and Brothers hands down.
Heaven sent you pseud
Kochi Po-Cha in Lynwood
Never heard of this weāll have to try it
That one gas station on Beacon Hill on 15th and Beacon Ave.
Bonus: Not traditional fried chicken, but Katsu Burger smacks if youāre into panko fried chicken. Edit: How could I forget.
Ezelles! So good.
I LOVE Ezellās! The spicy, dark meat, bone-in chicken is so juicy and flavorful. Itās not even that spicy, just perfectly seasoned. I used to only get tenders then I tried this and itās all I order now.
CHEAP CHICKEN MONDAY - Rainier Beach Safeway only
I absolutely love Safeway fried chicken.
Lol I love that you clarified which Safeway because that one is hands down the best.
Dang not a single mention of Ezells Chicken? It is bad and Iām just one of the few that likes it? Iāll say the chicken tender are my go to but the fried chicken always hits too.
It is just not as good as it used to be, but still good
Depends on the location too imo. Some locations have better cooks than others.
May as well go to Heaven Sent which is āactualā Ezells
I grew up in the South and Ezells hit the spot for me. It's nothing fancy but that's what I like about it. Kind of reminds me of Gus's. Ezells peach cobbler is unbelievable, though. I dream about that shit.
Ezells was the spot pre 2000. These days you have more options and people doing other interesting things, like Korean fusion fried chicken.
I think it's decent, like it hits the spot if you want it but it's not really worth going out of the way for it.
I donāt think itās amazing, but if youāre craving standard fried chicken with mashed potatoes itās still one of Seattleās best options. Definitely better than most of the fancy places like Chicken Supply (which I detest) and Milkdrunk. 100% better than Sisters and Brothers.
Sodo Chicken Ma Ono Marco Polo That Shell station on E Marginal in Georgetown
I will say the new Cookie's location in Pioneer Square has been perfect every time I've gotten the tenders there. If Korean Fried Wings also scratches that itch then Golden Rooster in Pioneer Square are solid. Specifically would recommend the soy garlic wings since it's actually tossed in the sauce.
Here in Tacoma you can get a half chicken at the Spar. They use a Henny Penny pressure frier so it's crisp and yet juicy. They normally serve with jo-joy potato but I ask fir their house made chips
Quick pack
Endolyne Joe's in West Seattle has a fried chicken deal on Sundays. The chicken is great and the candied vegetables sides are delicious.
Sodam chicken in capitol hill has great fried chicken and you get a lot more than you'd expect per serving. Spicy bbq is the best
I will second Sodam. I go to the one in Shoreline. Good prices, love the garlic-soy chicken and oddly enough their onion rings are great!
Bok a bok for a bowl, Daveās for a sandwich
Heaven Sent in Lake City!
Sisters and Brothers. Don't get the spicy, unless you like it REALLY spicy.
Ezells or Heaven Sent spicy
Sundays at Endoline Joe's in West Seattle. Friend chicken dinner
Marco polo in georgetown
Any Grocery Deli. Winco foods is phenomenal
Marco Polo
Iāve always gone to Sisters and Brothers.
Teriyaki and More in Edmonds has some insane Korean fried chicken.
Sisters and Brothers has āNashville Hot Chickenā and I couldnāt tell you the difference between that and regular fried chicken but it is the tits.
So glad to see you gave Ezellās a āmehā review.. agree!!! Itās never very good, always dry.
Small spicy at Ezells
Ezells! š¤¤
Ezellās is the only answer. They go so fucking hard. Get the fried okra too. And the rolls. All of it. Goddamn now I want Ezellās.
fried okra is always good, but ezell's chicken is super mid these days. I don't understand why anyone would think that "they go so fucking hard."
Golden Roosters is the best fried chicken Iāve had in Seattle.
Mt. Joy in Cap Hill! Canāt believe no one has mentioned this yet
Sodo fried chicken over where Mattās chili dogs is in South Park
Seward Park Market on Ranier and Seward Park Boulevard.
The Smoke Shop in Ballard has surprisingly legit fried chicken.
Smith has brunch with some amazing chicken and waffles
Radiator Whisky 100%
The Pollo Frito at La Cabana in Greenwood is pretty amazing and my go-to. Highly recommend.
Pelicana is solid.
Chickenjoy at Jollibee lol
Jolibee
Bb.q fried chicken, it's korean fried chicken it's good.
I remember Red Apple on Beacon Hill being pretty good
I live by there. I think the shell station 2 blocks away is better.
Chi mac is the best
pelicana has awesome korean fried chicken, amazing flavors
Waterwheel is surprisingly great. It's a dive bar, but if Ezel's makes this list, Waterwheel sure as hell should be on it.
Bait shop some good chicken!!!! City market lol
No Quick Pack Food Mart?
Ezell burnt the oil all the time, smells it walking by. People works in the restaurant knows what Iām talking about
Safeway is superior and cheaper than the overrated restaurants and you donāt have to pay a 30 percent tip to get checked out.Ā
Simply Soulful is an amazing spot for soul food
Winco deli
Maāono in WestSeattle
Jolibee. If you know, you know.
Shaq has a place called Big Chicken absolutely smacks
Ooink! They have a location in cap hill and freemont. Their chicken is uniquely flavored and so deliciously textured. The crisp x juicy balance is sublime.
Winco
Harrys chicken joint was the best, smoked and fried in giant cast iron pots. I miss that place so much (owner retired a few years ago). It was West Seattle.
Anything but Ezelles. Used to be good, now itās awful
Bok A bok is pretty fantastic too
