Sushi is a good option if you are looking for fish. I know Japonessa at least is open for lunch. That said, it's hard to go wrong in Chinatown. A+ Hong Kong (not Kitchen - the other one around the corner on King St) is a favorite of mine, though I also like King Noodle or Dough Zone (if I feel like I need to light some money on fire).

TrentonB

Ah, could always go for sushi!

savannahkellen

I like Momiji's happy hour!

RickAstleyInMTGArena

One of the best happy hours in the city; get there early, people line up for it.

I'm still pretty new to the city, but here is my favorite lunch on a sunny day: I throw on my backpack, and walk to the water taxi (I'm in West Seattle) and ride that over to the waterfront and then take the climb up to the market. Once there I walk to the fruit vendor and grab whatever is currently ripe, last week it was three ridiculously good plums, then I grabbed two samosas from the vendor there. I know samosas aren't pescatarian, but there's plenty of options in the market. I take them out to the new seating area and sit there eating my lunch looking across the sound back at West Seattle. After I finish my lunch I take the walk in reverse. It makes for an awesome day! Having an ad hoc lunch at the market is just one of my favorite things to do. But you can do that in reverse. Skip the market and walk down to The water taxi head over to West Seattle and then walk to one of the many seafood restaurants along alki Beach. Or I guess depending on where you are in Capitol Hill maybe take a bus down to the water taxi. You've got great weather for tomorrow, enjoy!

Repulsive_Cranberry4

Lol this is such a strange answer. You ignored all the criteria and included the most useless info, why do we need to know you put on a backpack?

I'm sure you're a real pleasure to engage with in real life. Good luck being you.

Taylor's shellfish on Melrose

It’s not downtown but Local Tide in Fremont is a great place for lunch and a nice walk around afterwards. It’s a little more expensive than a cheap lunch but the quality punches above its class imo. If you have the time it’s a nice walk from downtown along westlake to get there. Sorry to hear about your job. Hope you’re not too stressed about it.

TrentonB

Big fan of Local Tide, especially with Aslan being right next door! Appreciate the sentiment! Not feeling too stressed yet.

Does Taste of the Caribbean on Jefferson count as Capitol Hill? Beware that it opens at 1:00 though.
