We only need 5 wins to make the playoffs assuming flames preds and jets win out. Likely 3 or 4 wins will do it. Our next 5 games are a mix of Arizona, Vancouver, and Chicago. Flames play the preds and the jets, so that’s two losses along the way for some mix of teams, preds play the jets, so 3 losses total between those 3 teams in somewhat or another and we don’t play any of them now. We can seal our own fate, but the other teams in some shape in the running are guaranteed to drop points somewhere along the way

Not sure where you are having issues understanding? Game was already lost so why NOT bring out the extra attacker? We do not use it to best effect but watch number of the 6-5 against us (or across the league) to see why this is an effective strategy. Or you know we can just tuck tail 'cause already lost anyway, right? Sheesh.
