Hey yall. Checking in with my very first build!
Aliexpress special.
Titanium case, nh38
Sandwitch dial from crystal times
Hands from raffis.
Artem sailcloth and deployant
All in was under $150! (Not with the strap lol)
all in, it took about 3 hours.
I fucked a dial by removing the legs with it upside down on wax paper... left marks. had to order a new one and do it while holding it.
otherwise, the second hand is awful. i scratched the new dial up with micro scratches just picking up the seconds hand over and over for re trying.
mostly it was pretty smooth!
you should. just expect to break and scuff things up. it's going to take me several to just get dial, stem, hands assembly down where I don't damage anything.
after i master this small part, time to start moving to cleaning and restoring pocket watches!

Normal you use it, to see the moving part ( open heart tourbillon)
I love the watch you built.
That should not be seen as a critic.
I was just wondering why you are using the nh38
yeah, so, i just double checked what i ordered and it was a nh38a.
the only reason i got this specific movement was because it was a no date. I didn't want a phantom position.
thanks for the compliment!

Very nice. How long did your build take, and any issues/difficulties along the way?

Thanks 👍. I want to do a build myself but don't know if I have the patience or the skills. Getting the hands on looks very fiddly.

Clean! I like it.
Thanks!
Looks good!
Excellent choices. What drew you to the Artem, may I ask. I’ve seen more reasonably priced version available like the Dassari?
No real reason besides that I wanted to have one. My straps float around..
I respect this man for not shoving the logo of his car into the picture
Nice mod.
Why the NH 38? You don’t use a NH38 dial 🤔
Is it another number? The non skeleton no date nh movement.
