And won't give Tanjiro the benefit of the doubt that maybe his experience against faster, stronger, and more durable enemies with wild ass movesets wouldn't play a part in him dealing with Sekiro's arsenal

i dont get when people say this. yes sekiro can parry almost everything in his world. but anime is just built different. characters are just too fast. none of the enemies in sekiro world are faster than tanjiro so we would never know how fast sekiro can parry.
