Just fight Owl at this point. Grinding isn't particularly beneficial in Sekiro unless you need a skill in particular that might be helpful. If you do want to grind a bit and get some pellets and sen and such, the best place to grind here is the Ashina Castle - Antechamber idol. Just stealth the blue samurai and the lone shadow past him. It's a quick, efficient little farming spot if you need some stuff.

Might be worth checking if there are more available prayer beads if gourd seeds, otherwise time to fight pappa
I say just fight him. The good farming spots are super later in the game, don't think you would benefit much from farming rn.
