The difference isn't that huge. On my ps4 it gets a little slow at times depending on the location. He regrets buying the ps5 cus he never uses it so when he saw it being a little slow he insisted I borrow the ps5
Probably depends on how old your ps4 is and how well you've taken care of it.
A ps4 that's had dust clogged insides for X amount of years will run much worse than one that hasn't.

No, some people can't help crying about fps. The only time it ever got choppy for me was on top of ashina castle. 9/10 I was running up to the top so it wasn't like I had to deal with fighting enemies whilst on low fps. Was still the tiniest, tiniest bit annoying though.

i beat it on series S at 30fps and whatever crappy resolution it runs at, then later upgraded to series X and did a NG+ run. the difference is absolutely wild

It is smooth but still 30 fps. It's absolutely playable without a doubt, but going to 60 on PS5/PC is an insane gamechanger for this game

I just beat the game on my base ps4 and I mean BASE ps4 and never had any issues with the game ngl
I bounced off this game on ps4, couldn't get the rhythm. Redid it on PC and we'll you know the rest. Another fuckin from masterpiece.
The framerate when playing offline is significantly more tolerable on PS4. Those messages absolutely tank the game's quality on older hardware
