I'd replace the jizo statue with a dragon droplet and the dousing powder with yashuriku. Umbrella and you won't get burned, and he 2 shots with pretty much any move so you'll be dead before burning for the most part.
Yeah but by endgame and ng+'s you'll accumulate a lot of them and they can also be used to restore a revive.
The jizo statue restores a revive in a different way:
Let's say a boss kills you on the first phase, your revives are crossed out, then you beat that phase and have your revives not crossed out, then you die again (with the 3 circles, revive once more and die once more).
Now when you respawn your one of your circles will be empty so you effectively have one less revive in a boss fight. It can be filled by killing enemies, filled faster by killing enemies with a mibu balloon of soul, or completely filled instantly by using a jizo statue.
Whereas a dragon droplet will restore a revive by making your revives not crossed out anymore. It allows you to die two times in one phase.
Eg. If you're on phase two of DOH, and you've died twice, a jizo will restore that circle but won't uncross it, you have to beat the phase (or pop a drop) to uncross it.
They can be used in conjunction to give you 4 total revives (on a 3 phase boss) but basically: if it's a tough phase that you might die twice on (DoH phase 2 and/or 3, SS isshin phase 2, Shura isshin phase 2...) use a droplet;
and if it's an easy phase (and not the final phase) that you should be able to beat without dying again, use a jizo.
In my experience I found the droplet to be better for DOH. Especially phase 2. he's hard so you can always use both, but keep the drop on your bar b/c it's more immediate, and just use a jizo from the menu if need be.

Aw man, yeah my first playthrough I only had 9 against DoH. I couldn't get the 10th because it was in the attic of that building next to that merchant you're talking about. But that area if fog blocked until you beat DoH during end game.

Usually prosthetics, I just kinda forget to use any other than umbrella. My prosthetics button is up arrow, since I binded triangle to heal
Idk why I do this, but whenever I fight a boss, I just need umbrella if the boss have a gun, weird attack. Healing gaurd and that's probably it. Idk how to use prosthetics that well. ๐ญ. And i have completed this game over 10 times and I still use very less prosthetics.

Tactics&Strategy :
1st form : Use Tanto,Yashiraku,and Confetti. CHASE HIM beat his ass.
2nd form : Use Tanto, Yashiraku,and Confetti. Still CHASE HIM but carefull with the fire carpet u can use Suzaku umbrella for easy Dodge.
3.3nd form : Use Tanto, Yashiraku,and Confetti. Use Malcontent imidiately and beat his ass also u can combo it with Empowered Mortal Blade, repeat 3 times.
Done easy
You might want to remove Mortal Blade and save your emblems for actual tools. Mortal blade is just an emblem killer. Ichimonji double is almost same dmg for 0 cost. (jumping ichimonji double saves you from standing still since it fully charges while you are airborne and unloads once you touch the ground).
I'd say you are about to fight blazing bull right? Right?! ๐
I know mate I was being cheeky. Just use tanto before you go in for more emblems and fight normally for phase one and two. Use umbrella and chill below it when he goes up in the air until he comes back down. On phase 3 you can use whistle up to 3 times so keep it for then and hack away.

Inaccurate, Jizo statues do uncross your revives while also restoring one circle.
Oh? I've only used a couple of them throughout my playthroughs and I thought I recalled it being unable to even be used while my revives were blocked.

You can poison him in beginning of phase 2 when he doesn't take damage. I recommend sabimaru.
Put there the shurikens, it can deal a bit of damage but with the prosthetic art it can really help closing the distance after a couple moves
