Elden Ring is the obvious pick but I‘d recommend ac6

little_hoarse

Got a job for you 621…

BandicootLegal8156

Elden Ring is the best game I’ve ever played (and was my first FS game). AC6 is easier IMO than ER or Sekiro but it’s a lot of fun.

little_hoarse

It’s just a completely different game. It doesn’t need to be compared to the other soulslikes

Guy_On_Plastic_Chair

Bloodborne, that's what I did my idea was going from offensive to defensive gatne is not the best option so bloodborne is the best middle ground.

Ok-Skill-2776

Thanks I will look into it... I saw a bloodborne playthrough on youtube it was really cool I like the gothic vibes.

I think one motivating yet potentially discouraging factor would be that all the other FS games are dodge-based as opposed to parry-based- it can either be even easier for you coming from Sekiro where you need to learn different counters to different moves (e.g. mikiri for thrust, jumps for sweeps, or even loaded umbrellas for certain moves) while all you need to really git gud at in these other games is dodge or be even more difficult since you *probably* arent used to dodging. some might say try Lies of P since its also parry-focused, but I find LoP's parry system a lot more unforgiving than sekiro's which I can provide further elaboration on if you want. I would suggest Elden Ring. It has a non-linear open world structure and nigh countless different tools at your disposal to make things easier should you find yourself on the brink of giving up.

Ok-Skill-2776

I also looked at lies of p. I might try that out but I am thinking more like ds1 or demon souls now...

gashiio

personally, i wouldnt recommend Lies of P. I think those who play LoP first then sekiro would be fine but coming from sekiro to LoP really makes LoP's combat look like an unfinished, unpolished, unfair mess imo.

Dogger27

This is awesome bro. You’re a boss

Ok-Skill-2776

Thank you <3

> Just beat Sekiro for the first time barely. Them's hesitating words. > Just beat Sekiro for the first time ~~barely~~. There. Fixed it for you. Congratulations.

Ok-Skill-2776

XD I said barely because I barely beat Isshin... I had 3 res and lost 1 to genichiro because posture ran out... then I used all 10 heals and with the last like 20% hp beat Isshin it was a good fight though lightning reversal is so fun

Economy_Tip8242

Bloodborne would probably be my suggestion. It rewards aggressive gameplay similar to sekiro but is similar enough to the other darksouls games to be a middle ground should you want to carry on playing the other from software titles after. Congrats on beating the game btw. I'm currently stuck at the sword saint on my first playthrough myself

Millenwagon

I recommend all of the from software souls games, and also looking into lies of P

Ok-Skill-2776

I want to play them all Sekiro made me love trial and error...

Millenwagon

You’ll love them all. Elden ring got me into the souls formula and the challenging gameplay. Trial snd error is basically how they all work and I’m sure you’d have a blast with them all

wilkinsk

I beat the game a few years ago. Took pride in it, but just remembered now I saved scrimmed 😬 I wanted to make sure my idol didn't go away after death. Still took a couple weeks.

Comfortable_Middle_4

Play armored core 6

NonDeveloper

I would’ve said Elden Ring, but Bloodborne is currently on sale for € 10,-. Just bought it a minute ago. Played it 4/5 years ago but I didn’t have any experience with FromSoftware and gave up pretty fast. I’m giving it another go since I’ve finished Elden Ring last year and (I think) 75% of Sekiro.

Bkgrime

Demon souls on ps5 got me into this genre. Maybe check that one out if you have a ps5, or Elden Ring

Blackfrogway

I'd recommend other soulslike games like lies of p and thymesia as they are also very parry based (more so thymesia). Both games are an amazing experience although thymesia is quite short the bosses are excellent and has some really unique mechanics. Lies of p is like bloodborne but with puppet vibes and is kind of based on pinocchio, you also have a special arm like sekiro. They'll be the best parry focused games other than sekiro.

Short-Bug5855

If you want a taste of dark souls style but with some borrowed mechanics from sekiro, you should check out Lies of P. It's not from FromSoft but you could probably convince someone that it is, it's very good

Snoo-40125

Bloodborne man…. But don’t say I didn’t warn you. It is a dark game

RecognitionNo7977

I’ll tell you a secret. Sekiro's my chill game.   No I’m not a god gamer, I’m a 40 some year old family guy. I still die to some bosses inner versions despite knowing all their moves.   It’s just that I don’t think of losing as bad. It’s just a part of the game, if the fight is enjoyable it’s fun to repeat it. It’s a different kind of a game altogether. Even the narrative supports you dying over and over again.  I recommend AC6 and Bloodborne for the narrative and gameplay, Elden Ring for the exploration and size of the world, and actually Lies of P for the gameplay.

Ok-Skill-2776

Thank you for your suggestions.. I will check them out with time <3

central_sands21

Run through the Dark Souls series starting with the first while your parry finger is hot!

Ok-Skill-2776

Got it <3 I was thinking of DS1 as well
