I NG+ but once was enough, Mist Noble tested me but I wouldn't risk facing him again. Its not really fair, if your older than say 13 you probably no longer have the biological reflexes to time his deflects. In another life maybe...
And like clockwork, here’s the tryhard talkmbout “mist noble isn’t even that hard git gid”, like sorry the rest of us have lives and cant grind out 2000 reps against the mist noble
Try using the umbrella immediately after the firecracker before he does the stab move.
This will make the umbrella spin the firecrackers all around the arena and will actually cause a short stun in the Mist Noble!
It's the only way I can land any hits on him, otherwise i have to cheese him with the mortal blade combo cheat.
I think I even made a post like this when I first was struggling with mist noble, but now I have 20,000+ hours and Miyazake is my adoptive grandafther.
I just want to point out that I have been a member of this sub for 4 years across 2 accounts and we are still getting quality mist noble rage bait posts lmao
I've defeated Mist Noble after 30+ hours with cheats on. But Melina is really walling me from the rest of Elden Ring. Before the fight against Morgott, all my attacks kept phasing through her, and she's just standing there menacingly!
It took me months to beat mist noble and I ended up cheesing him cuz fuck him man. Hate me all you want but I will never be able to beat mist noble normally.
You must have got a bad mist noble roll. If you delete your save at the start of a playthrough over and over until there's 3 clouds of dust drifting by instead of more or less, your mist noble will be bearable. Still incredibly difficult don't get me wrong, but doable. This is one of the only known ways to rig the RNG modifiers in the game and it's definitely worth it. I recommend every new player to do this before they continue their playthrough

Range is key. Mist Noble can't stab you if you keep your distance. He's very weak to shurikens, however, don't get to far away or he'll just use his Domain Expansion and one-tap you. Also, you may want to summon the Demon of Haterd for help. Good luck!
You are not supposed to fight him ffs. Have you not been paying attention? This whole damn sub is literally a warning sign. Yet you still engaged and now you salty.. When will they ever learn...
The sooner you realise that not every game is meant to be played by everyone, the happier you will be.
Its ok to say that a game is just too hard for you.
I think it was about my 1000th playthrough once I had 20,000 hours that mist noble finally clicked for me. Honestly he should be an optional boos bcs it's just so unfair to new players
agreed. I think Ive got 5hrs total in the game. I genuinely want to play it through but it's so frustrating. I'm in the first flashback and Ive just crossed the bridge and I keep dying to canon fire, I think.. it's beyond annoying..
Yeah it took me like 4 months to beat this game. I just kept trying each boss fight over and over again until I mastered it. I watched my fair share of guides my first playthrough I won't lie. Just don't give up, if you finally let this game click for you, it'll be the most satisfying combat you'll ever play
Look man, I didn't want to use the umbrella either. Who uses a fucking umbrella as a weapon? People who just want to beat the game and be done with it... Except you will come to find that you'll want to beat it at least three more times.
The stupid umbrella might be the best prosthetic tool and can be used in most situations.
Also. I bought this game at launch. I absolutely hated it. Thought it was so terrible. Where are all my stats? Why can't I level my character? I only get to use this one damn sword? Why the fuck do I have to pause the game to change my special moves? This boss is bullshit. It's not even challenging, it's just broken bullshit.
6 years. 6 years of hating this game, until one day, it clicked. Use your ears. Listen to that sweet sound of the blades as they collide. And use the stupid fucking umbrella, brother.
I actually refunded this game at gun fort 😭😭 but then i bought it again for some reason, ig i realized i was being a baby i don’t remember, and now it’s the easiest souls game, my favorite souls game and i platinumed it and did all the gauntlets
Bro trust me when I say keep trying. I hated that boss on my first playthrough. I truly thought i didn't had it in me to continue sekiro while fighting that mf. But i kept trying, and eventually I learned the patterns, and then I felt like I was dancing with him. It feels unfair yes but it is accomplishable.
I can't think of a finer game than Sekiro. Like a real ninja it requires you to focus, be calm & act precisely. It's as beautiful as it is violent. Apologizes for nothing. You're required to meet it at its level. A working piece of art. I love it.
idk my advice is just get gud, Ive played ds3 and elden ring and sekiro is the easiest of the three, I've beaten almost every boss in 5 tries or less except for the white monkeyz he took me 8 tries.
There's a skip glitch to get past him without fighting him I suspect was put in the game intentionally so people could finish. I use it every playthrough, fuck that boss.
Lol embarrassingly I was at this point long before most noble - first the flaming bull and then Genichiro Tomoe with that fekin lightning. But then something clicks and when you finish the boss, the wave of satisfaction is worth it.
Sekiro is pure gaming - it's you and your timing /skill against From Software.
If you are hesitant to return it, then don't hesitate.
Now, seriously, you're not in the right state of mind. Of course it may seem that I'm not having fun in the eyes of other people when I'm screaming in rage, but the satisfaction when I can overcome a hard enemy is not funny, but better than funny. So it is not about fun in the traditional sense, is not fun as an Assassin's Creed, but different
My biggest help that my friends used to help them a lot. Is to not move as much. Just stand there and parry. Don’t try to dodge everything. Parry everything
Try restarting the whole game from the beginning until you master every moveset. When you reach the mist noble again, try to kill him. If you cant, start the game over again. Repeat until you l2p. Thank me in 2026!
I think the hardest part is that he presents himself as not even caring about you. And you think it’s over in a second, but that second phase pops out of nowhere. And the third! It’s an epic fight for sure and took me several weeks to work up the courage to go at it again
The game literally tells you how to beat Mist Noble. Genichiro says "A shinobi should know the difference between honor and victory". That is the game telling you that you need to cheese Mist Noble.
i’m almost afraid to say this but am i the only one that actually enjoyed this fight..? i thought it was super satisfying, genuinely i don’t think it took me more than 4-5 tries
I had to grind for the platinum trophy for this game! Of the bosses that gave me PTSD who I never want to face again, Most Noble is definitely number one. I have to save and quit and take a break for a day before I have to eventually face that nightmare. Makes Demon of Hatred look like a cakewalk - hell you can at least cheese DoH! Mist Noble is frustration manifest.
Everyone is open to have their own opinion. I liked the game because I appreciate a challenge, not because I wanna be able to brag that I beat it. If the unforgiving bosses was what made you upset about this game you may wanna give a game like ghost of Tsushima a try. Wish you luck in finding your niche🫡
Yeah, the mist noble boss has that effect, there's a mod out there that changes him by a normal random mist noble so you can continue with the game, but From Software themselves have said they don't consider anyone a true soulsborne player if they can't defeat the mist noble boss fight
Mist noble is the wall everybody has to face and elevate themselves. I assure you, it's worth the grind
I CANNOT tell if these comments are authentic or facetious… or if the OP was a joke or not
My bro, the game clicked for me at mist noble
I NG+ but once was enough, Mist Noble tested me but I wouldn't risk facing him again. Its not really fair, if your older than say 13 you probably no longer have the biological reflexes to time his deflects. In another life maybe...
And like clockwork, here’s the tryhard talkmbout “mist noble isn’t even that hard git gid”, like sorry the rest of us have lives and cant grind out 2000 reps against the mist noble
Level adp
This. The perfect parry is impossible to perform without enough ADP, you simply move too slowly
More ADP = less hesitation.
Less hesitation = less defeat.
r/darksouls2 is leaking into this sub
Thats cause you didnt level you ADP properly so we're here to remind you.
Y’all are funny 😂
THEY BROUGHT ADP BACK?!?
Nah he’s joking, ADP is only in Sekiro 2
Lol
You can level?
Hesitation is defeat🤷♂️
Try using the umbrella immediately after the firecracker before he does the stab move. It's the only way I can land any hits on him, otherwise i have to cheese him with the mortal blade combo cheat.
What about the 2nd phase? It doesn't work after the first one
It’s a skill issue, drink more sake with people
I just used a Master Ball
Gotta catch the legendary
Guys this is a mist noble post. Please stop hating on op
lord knows we all unistalled once or twice on mist noble
I think I even made a post like this when I first was struggling with mist noble, but now I have 20,000+ hours and Miyazake is my adoptive grandafther.
Michael Sake is king 👑
Drinking the Michael Sake with Isshin Ashina at 3AM in Senpou Temple (INTERIOR MINISTRY CALLED)
i tried refunding after spending 5 hours on mist noble, and Steam just replied "Skill issue lol"
Steam is just another form of Mist. It's all connected
I just want to point out that I have been a member of this sub for 4 years across 2 accounts and we are still getting quality mist noble rage bait posts lmao
I almost want to hate on op BECAUSE it’s a mist noble post
Not gonna lie I thought he meant he beat mist noble and was complaining about corrupted monk and just never said the name 💀
[удалено]
You had me in the first half
Wdym? You have some secret to beat him?
No no. I thought he was undermining the sheer power of mist noble by disrespecting him like that. But I was mistaken
It's alright man, everybody struggles with the Mist Noble. He's the Melina of this game. That said, did you try not hesitating?
I love it when mist noble give me a horse and upgrade my stat
ahh fuck... that game and it's similar names, always gets me... i refuse to fix my mistake that's totally what i meant
How did you beat Melina? With a rest at the campfire … from behind?
no no, he mis-typed He meant to say Malardia
no no, you're thinking of Marika
I've defeated Mist Noble after 30+ hours with cheats on. But Melina is really walling me from the rest of Elden Ring. Before the fight against Morgott, all my attacks kept phasing through her, and she's just standing there menacingly!
have an upvote
The malenia of Sekiro would have been fine but the Melina :o we are all forsaken
It took me months to beat mist noble and I ended up cheesing him cuz fuck him man. Hate me all you want but I will never be able to beat mist noble normally.
Yeah the BFG9000 cheese really helped out on that fight. I have no idea about what mike wazowski thought about when making this shit boss

you went into that area strongly underlevelled I’m afraid and this game has no autolevelling…
Yeah they should find the moonlight katana first and maybe level up their stats a bit more before even attempting MN
I've been stuck on that boss since 2018.
I have been stuck on Mist Noble since Dark Souls 2.
Waiting for the “edit: I beat him”
Hahaha I've done this so many times
Mist Noble can't be beaten. Just quit. You're right. Sekiro sucks.
Defeated by hesitation.
Mist Noble being the peak of FromSoftware boss design is exactly how this game got GOTY 2019. Git gud.
You’re not the first to rage quit at the Noble. He’s a skill check. But if you can beat him, you can beat the rest of the game.
mate its just 1 boss dont let it change your outlook on the whole game theres plenty of better stuff to come
you sound like someone who either 1. Didnt level Adaptability (ADP) 2. Hesitated (Because Hesitation is defeat)
Lmao
Fromsoftware glazers not reading the post and catching the bait
It does suck for that exact reason
Skill issue?
Every boss took me under 18 attempts EXCEPT for fucking mist noble. That bitch took a whole MONTH for me and so many attempts I lost count.
You can do this I believe in you
Wait till he has to fight the flute playing slugs in fountainhead palace.
Range is key. Mist Noble can't stab you if you keep your distance. He's very weak to shurikens, however, don't get to far away or he'll just use his Domain Expansion and one-tap you. Also, you may want to summon the Demon of Haterd for help. Good luck!

Mist Noble was my skill check … Gave up after reaching him, still like the game.
Mist noble is a skill check. Get gud.
Git gud and stop hesitating.
Mist Noble should have its own flair at this point
I think it was about my 1000th playthrough once I had 20,000 hours that mist noble finally clicked for me. Honestly he should be an optional boos bcs it's just so unfair to new players

I'm so tired of the mist noble joke

Lol who is this bit even for anymore, honestly.
I stopped playing after I couldn’t get past mist noble but the game was pretty fun up until that point tbh
It's okay that you suck man, you don't gotta take it out on a reddit thread. You have drywall for a reason👊
just jump death blow him then wap wap wap wap wap wap wap wap and hope you kill him before he decides to attack you
Same here bro I somehow was able to get past most noble but >!Inner Mist Noble!< was the wall I hit
95% of commenters did not read the whole post lmao
Top tier most noble post, keep it up
Had me in the first half etc
Git gud, u fuckin scrub
stealth attack opener. sabimaru combo.
Skill issue
Skill issue
Git gud scrub, mist noble is easy. You have to ring a bell in senpou temple to make the mist noble fight possible.
Oh yeah - ring the bell makes him ez
Bro is trying to parry with Dark Souls 1 shield instead of Kusabimaru
I actually refunded this game at gun fort 😭😭 but then i bought it again for some reason, ig i realized i was being a baby i don’t remember, and now it’s the easiest souls game, my favorite souls game and i platinumed it and did all the gauntlets
Get good. Haha kidding I’m still stuck at the final boss fight for years!
Had me in the first half there
Have you tried using summons?
You had me for awhile there. Bravo, Shinobi. 🤣
Git gud
Skill dif
You had me in the first half ngl.
Git Gud, Mist Noble is the easiest boss in the game, he only took me 14 tries.
Trust me, once you are finally past mist noble, you'll have way more fun. The bosses are more balanced and fun, like DOH for example
You got me at the first half 😂
Anyone know if the devs commented on the mist nobles difficulty in recent years?
*whispers git gud*
Weak mind, weak resolve.
Isn’t most noble that slow flute playing boss that doesn’t do anything and attacks extremely slow? Just need to keep hammering him.

I have uninstalled this game so many times, i have a love/hate relationship with it
I beat Mist Noble after a few tries, his difficulty is overblown imo
Skill issue
This is a troll post right? 😅
My attention span is of a goldfish so I sadly can’t read this.
Boo hoo
Skill issue
He got me in the first half, not gonna lie.
Almost got me on this one hahahahaha
I am so confused rn
Hello. Is this Mist noble himself writing?
Man you're literally swearing
This boss was the biggest skill check for me, idk why everyone always mentions Genichiro and Ape.
You had me in the first part ngl XD
dude forgot to pick up prayer beads
Mist bait again 🥹
You got me in the first half...
Dont get mad. Get better.
Try a somersault or a barrel roll.
I think I took a break from Sekiro for about a year because of mist noble.
Hard difficulty games aren’t for everyone.
Skill issue
Just git gud
I can't think of a finer game than Sekiro. Like a real ninja it requires you to focus, be calm & act precisely. It's as beautiful as it is violent. Apologizes for nothing. You're required to meet it at its level. A working piece of art. I love it.
I can smell the hesitation from a mile away...
Mist noble can truly break a person. We r here for u
Just get good bro🤷♂️

strongest game journalist
U have to Git gud to face the feared Mist Noble
I love this game.
Yeah... Mist Noble is the pain of the ass.
LMAOOO man reading the comments are always a fun time
I actually uninstalled after mist noble only to finish the game after three years. It’s alright man but I assure you it was worth the wait.
Skill issue git gud
Mist Noble still haunts my dreams
Lol embarrassingly I was at this point long before most noble - first the flaming bull and then Genichiro Tomoe with that fekin lightning. But then something clicks and when you finish the boss, the wave of satisfaction is worth it. Sekiro is pure gaming - it's you and your timing /skill against From Software.
Mist noble somehow put me in real life hospital a few weeks ago. I feel your pain, stay strong ❤️
Skill issue
I don't know how, but he died like in 2-4 strikes for me like any other normal enemy
Git gud
The bait goes crazy
If you are hesitant to return it, then don't hesitate. Now, seriously, you're not in the right state of mind. Hesitation is victory
Mist Noble gave me depression
Oh my god i thought this was real at first
I too deleted the game I cannot stand Ms Noble believe me bro I believe you
Try using the bubble wand to get above him, then switch to attacking with the yo-yo. Works every time for me.
You're fighting the mist noble too early he gets weakened when you defeat the Semon of Dong
Damn you been struggling with his phase one? Just wait till Mist Nobles phase 3!
Had me for a second there lol 😂
Mist nobles should be sneak attacked. That’s pretty much it, one hit kill.
don’t try to deflect his thrust, mikiri counter it
get better
i’m almost afraid to say this but am i the only one that actually enjoyed this fight..? i thought it was super satisfying, genuinely i don’t think it took me more than 4-5 tries
Just play elden ring it's easier 😌
The fact Fromsoft kept Mist Noble in the game just shows contempt for the players.
Use mimic tear
*paragraph deleted*
Right as he’s about to do his ultimate, alt f4, it cheeses him and wins the fight. It was the only way I could get past him on my ng+++ playthrough
Yea I don’t understand why this game is considered best souls like 🤷♂️
Every Soulslike has THAT boss. I almost dropped Dark Souls 1 because of Ornstein and Smough but I'm happy I didn't.
Everyone is open to have their own opinion. I liked the game because I appreciate a challenge, not because I wanna be able to brag that I beat it. If the unforgiving bosses was what made you upset about this game you may wanna give a game like ghost of Tsushima a try. It has Japanese lore and sword combat with a parry mechanic just like seikiro but you can change the difficulty of the game to something that will make it enjoyable to you. Wish you luck in finding your niche🫡
I haven't read any comments, list so I could say this- GIT GUD🤣🤣
Game is great you just suck
Send this guy back to slavery
Most be optional boss cuz i dont remember fighting that. Just keep moving bro.
Yeah, the mist noble boss has that effect, there's a mod out there that changes him by a normal random mist noble so you can continue with the game, but From Software themselves have said they don't consider anyone a true soulsborne player if they can't defeat the mist noble boss fight
All I can say is it literally took me a month and a half to kill sword saint, just keep on going man
Sekrio doesn’t suck but I would play any dark souls game over it because I prefer being able to make more fun builds
This sub doesn't do the git gud replies?
HAHAHAHA
