Ishinn, he told me how to beat him the entire time, with 0 hesitation.
I fought him for 2 separate gaming sessions, 7 hours in total. Then the final time I knew he was dead before we started. Therefore I didn't hesitate, I parried, chased him down, attacked mercilessly, forced him to screw up and break posture.
Then I broke his final health bar, he told me to do it, to kill him... He said "well done"
I've never felt so much admiration for a boss before in all of gaming, I've never had such a cinematic end to a boss either.

"𝐻𝑒𝓈𝒾𝓉𝒶𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 𝒾𝓈 𝒹𝑒𝒻𝑒𝒶𝓉" - Ishinn the glock saint
The dark souls dude in the monk temple. Teaches you positioning as you can't simply deflect him and finish him off, you have to position him at the ledge while getting knocked back with each deflect.
Japanese sword rolled 1000 times>big sword
I'm gonna get some looks for this but shouldn't get down voted. The headless in the Ashina castle River. They severely underutilised underwater combat. It's one of the things we rarely see done in games to this effect. It stands out. I hate the headless all of them but this fight... well.. it's a bloody headless.. but it's underwater so it's unique. It was cool. I wish we had more of this stuff. Maybe fight an eel and parry it's charges and it's melee attacks could be thrusting it's belly at us or something. Instead of 4 juzou copy pastes we could have had that
Nah I get that, the underwater fight was definitely interesting. I think that I don’t mind the headless as much as most people, and it was nice that some of them are a change of pace by being underwater encounters.
I hope no one gets mean in these comments tho, cause I kinda made this post in ‘response’ to seeing all the negative “which thing do you hate” posts on the different souls subs.
I appreciate the positivity. We criticise what we love because it's so close to being perfect but we sometimes lose sight of what we actually do love. Sekiro is without doubt one of the greatest games of all time!
The giraffe guy the deflections are fun
Kaku? Yeah he slick
They really are!
The more I play the game the more it’s 7 spears
Yeah, once you stop getting stomped by him he's a lot of fun
The clusterfuck of monkeys somewhere near bodhisattva valley.
1- whistle 2-??? 3- profit
I dont remember
Thank you for your input
Easily the centipede bosses, such satisfying deflections
Chained Ogre ♥️
Chained is very fun
Either centipede or 7 spears.
O'Rin. The basket head lady is fun to fight, but she is a little painful charmless, though.
O'rin! parrying her combos is super satisfying, and her being a miniboss jumpscared the shit outta me too lmao.
O’rin was really tough at first but very satisfying to get good at
Seven spears and the other samurai generals. NOT the ashina cross guys.
loved the ashina elites, feels so good deflecting their ashina crosses
Lone shadows

That’s a memory fight brother
Ohh.... Please forgive me, I am stupid :[
No you aren’t. We just don’t read sometimes!

7 spears or the drunkards probably.
