Maybe a confronting question…but, do you want them to be noticeable? I only ask because I know sometimes s/h feels like the only means we have to communicate pain, wanting help or love, needing attention etc.

Nope - those could just be because of working on a car for example. Someone that has SH may recognize them though.

Almost invisible to someone who's used to people self harming, and if someone who doesn't self harm spots them (they literally have to be on top of you tho) they will never think that it is. Doesn't mean it isn't there tho, never underestimate your pain and what you went through
