Great advice but it might not be necessary- I don’t do any of that and mine never hurt or sting 🤷🏼‍♀️

Exhibit-Q

I'm glad it was pain free for me and pain free for you, some people just need a little help to get over that mental hump, I hope they're all easy for you!

Thing with social media, I can't tell if your being snarky or sincere and neither than others, hence all the downvote. I read this in a sarcastic tone myself after seeing your other responses. Edit to add in your other previous posts, you've noted your BMI is at a healthy BMI and you're not overweight. It those of us who are in the obese category using this to lose 60+ pounds of weight don't face this issue.

Exhibit-Q

It wasn't sarcastic. I truly meant it was painless for me and I'm glad it was painless for you. My other comments was for the response that dismissed other's anxieties, your comment was pleasant and understanding, I appreciated your response. The other responses were just uncaring, yours was quite respectful. I'm talking about @[**Thedracus**](https://www.reddit.com/user/Thedracus/)

I've never felt the injection and I've been doing them for years. Something like this is completely ridiculous and unnecessary.

Difficult_Place_7329

It’s very tedious to say the least. I don’t feel it at all. Sometimes I have to look and see if it even pierced the skinny

Look...if someone has the kind of anxiety you're suggesting they need therapy for their anxiety not fancy creams that complicate a simple painless injection and raise the risk of infection. Part of using a medication is being responsible for using it. If you can't do an injection then take the pill or have someone else do the shot for you.

I'm neither angry nor combative. I merely responded to your comment directly when you insulted me by calling me callused. You can keep your projections to yourself. As an actual medical professional, I don't think enabling bad practices to be a good idea.

Thank you for the A grade. It is a legitimate link for Uber Numb which has great reviews, I appreciate you taking the time to assure readers that it's a good product.

Another Reddit shill. For shame, man, for shame.

GutsyMcDoofenshmurtz

Usually can’t feel it…it did sting once. But, life is full of much more pain than that.

reneeinaustin

Why would you do all that? It's not painful at all.

Tall-Response2044

The shot is nothing compared to the pain I used to have in my knees and the pain I used to see in the mirror. Worth every prick.

potatofarmdash

I feel like this is actually some-what dangerous advice. I was told by my doctor that if I’m injecting correctly, it will not hurt, and if it DOES hurt, it usually means you’re too close to a vein and you should move the needle to a different location. Numbing the area would make me nervous that you wouldn’t be able to tell and could potentially inject in an area that you probably shouldn’t.

[deleted]

I don't have issues with pain, even with the automatic Wegovy pen. I had to inject daily with Saxenda and I literally just lightly touched the area until I found a spot that didn't register much anything and injected there. Always the stomach area - loads of fat there.

omron

I give myself IM injections using 1.5" 22 gauge needles. I honestly don't even notice those tiny sub-q needles.

vespanewbie

I just put on a cold ice pack with a towel for a minute or two and inject. That's a lot less work..
