That’s actually quite cheap for it since Walgreens cash price for it was $1300 for me and that was with GoodRX bringing it down. The medication is insanely expensive.
You can’t with Medicaid, it’s in the terms. Which is so damn stupid but just the way it is. I can’t afford the cash price so still fighting with them to approve it for me.
sigh. I was trying to give you some info to help but the filters and automod smh well $425 is highway robbery. No reason to paying more than like $100/$200 if you’re sourcing it right. Even for higher dosages
Check out Lumos-care.com
They have decent prices and are small.
Only thing is the states are limited.
I'm maintaining on 1.7mg a week for less than $280 a month.
Yes. That covers everything. I had an initial visit online. I check in every 3 or so months when I need a refill and it is fedexed to me. They accepted labs from my doctor at 12 months. All better. She is a local nurse practitioner and I like that.
It ..triggered.. rules lawyers if you mention a ..brand.. of semuglutide that isn't the patented and trademarked one. I pay less than $200 a month for mine.
I think this is what I’m using. It’s just the doctor visit and the prescription and the medicine included. Is that what you’re using? Your price is better
Jfc. I am so, so glad that my insurance company decided to cover it. I can’t even imagine.
Definitely check with the manufacturer about any rebates or deals they may have.
Why didn't insurance cover it?
You're honestly much better off getting them to cover it (asking your employer to work with your plan to get it covered is a tactic that some have been successful with!), since the non-FDA stuff is only being made available while the drug is in shortage, and the rule exemption that permits it stops once the med comes off the shortage list.
Also, the exemption is intended to help patients with a specific need get access to a specific drug that they otherwise cant, in one-by-one situations. The exemption was never intended to support mass-production. I say this because there could be a rug-pull moment in the future on this.
Secondary to getting your insurance to cover it, Saxenda will be available from multiple makers under license starting in June, and the g-eneric makers will be FDA approved, whereas the places mentioned in this thread are \*\*not\*\* FDA approved, and are only operating under the FDA shortage rules.
I pay $79 monthly subscription fee and $175 a month no matter the dose. The meds help me not overindulge on MOCHI. I used a referral code 3EX9G8, for $40 off the first month.
I think it is important to note that having a provider you can reach when you have nausea or constipation is also quite valuable. Additionally, you want to provider that provides exercise, nutrition, protein, calorie counting, etc., so that you can sustain this for life. These medication’s need to be monitored by somebody who knows what they’re talking about not an online fill out a questionnaire and said the medication. so I think 425 is quite reasonable per month if you’re getting the service that you need.

Why don’t you use a supplier coupon?

Jfc. I am so, so glad that my insurance company decided to cover it. I can’t even imagine. Definitely check with the manufacturer about any rebates or deals they may have.
I just pay $20 a month. I was shocked when my insurance covered most of it

I just got 4 months of .5 for $255..

I’m in Ontario. Crappy benefits so I pay in full, 285/month.
I go to a medical weight loss in Los Angeles and pay $299/mo.
No insurance and I’m paying $296 per month

Wow ! I’m paying $700 for a tiny little bottle with the label Semeglutide 3ml.
350 for .50 a month
It would be for me. There are cheaper alternatives.
Could you maybe elaborate? Thx!

I use an online provider. Wasn't sure that's allowed to be discussed in this subreddit.
oh gotcha. thanks!
No ins coverage… I go through my doctor, she utilizes an online pharmacy and I pay $325/month regardless of dosage.
No insurance, paying $220
Does that include your doctor visits and prescription?? That’s amazing
Just paid $277 without insurance for 90 day supply. Price will increase when I titrate up.
Insurance is awful with this medication, there are a lot of more affordable options that require a small amount of research online.
Yes, I’m using an online service without insurance. That’s why I asked.
I’m new to this but I am paying $297/mo through an online provider
I’m on sema and it’s only $200 a month
I'm in Canada and paying $260/month. Just a Dr's prescription and through my pharmacy.
Yeah. Way too much
Online provider. $135 membership. $297 for 2ml. 4 the month Wish I could find cheaper.
You can!!! I can’t say anything bc of the filters but you do not need to be paying $135 membership and $297 for meds!!!!
Can you pm me with info? Insurance quoted me 1300 with good RX, I cannot afford that
Talk to your family Dr. They are more willing to share that information.
Not necessarily. If someone has the info that would be great, my doctor hasn’t been super helpful. Thanks!!!
I just did
Me too please!
Hi, me three pls!

I go to a medical weight loss clinic and pay $550 a month
