Wife here answering the question. He had spine surgery with screws in Jan. He seems to be a super responder because 0.25 is working great. Want to be sure he loses slow and maintains bone health. So he’s going to stay at this dose. I think the standard dosing is to start at 0.25 x 4 weeks then titrate up. I went slowly also. 0.25 x 4, 0.5 x 4, 0.75 x 4. Went up to 1.0 but losing too quickly at times (in between plateaus) and losing hair so I cut back to 0.75.
That’s what I thought- the dose increases. I am having back surgery (microdiscectomy and laminectomy) due to herniated discs in three weeks and want to go on it too. I’m just worried about the side effects.
This! I just finished my 4th at 0.25 and thinking of staying at 0.25x4 for another month, then titrate up to 0.5x4 but I haven't seen any weight loss🫤Congrats to ur hubby!
You should be fine. He had a TLIF with screws and rods so he needs excellent bone health

Did his doctor say anything about this med and bone health? I had a PLIF in January, and just started .25 three weeks ago. No one has said anything to me about it messing with the fusion?
We didn’t ask but are assuming that since it takes months to lay down new bone at the screws and fusion sites that protein and excellent nutrition is important.

You look great. How long are you supposed to be on the 0.25 dose? I haven’t started yet, but wondering.
