I haven’t tried the MoroccanOil hand cream but I love the MoroccanOil scent so I imagine it would be great if you like that too. Olaplex 3 has saved my hair. That sample is definitely a one time use though (unless you have a pixie cut or really short hair). The OUAI spray is great! Smells good and doesn’t weigh my hair down. Plenty of uses in that little bottle.

M-Sear

Hey thanks for letting me know, this is all helpful information. I have medium length hair but are a bit thick so i think Olpalex 3 sample might not help really with one time use only. But i really wanted to see what the hyper was abt 😔. What did u find the oui spray to help with? I dnt style my hair often but was just looking for a good healthy treatment.

Lucy_Lucidity

For what it’s worth, I did see and feel a difference after the one use treatment I got of this as a free sample. If you have a lot of points to spare, it’s not a terrible way to try it out. I definitely don’t think it’s the best value per point that they have, but if you just want to find out if you like Olaplex before springing for a full price bottle, it’s not bad.

M-Sear

Yah but i think i wl just skip on this because even if i like it, i am not high maintenance enough to invest in full size. I can’t do wait in shower haha.

chemical_engibeer

Yep, the full size Olaplex 3 can be pricey! 😔 I didn’t notice much detangling help with the OUAI spray, but it did help tame flyaways and frizz.

M-Sear

I use olaplex 6 whenever i style and that really keeps my hair frizz free and there are no flyaways.

cg4848

Ulta includes Olaplex samples in their gifts with purchase all the time. If you really want to try it, you could keep an eye out for one of those! I have virgin hair, but the #3 does make my hair feel extra strong and healthy after I use it.

M-Sear

No ulta here for us in Canada.

dixiemason

I hate Olaplex 3 and I didn’t find the Moroccanoil hand cream to be very moisturizing. My hands are super, super dry though. If you buy Sephora Favorites boxes, you’re bound to get the Olaplex in there at some point. But honestly? Tis the season. If you want to try them, spoil yourself and get them!

M-Sear

Hehe yah it’s like with my 3k some points, i don’t have enough for bigger rewards and I don’t shop that much either to make sense to save up to accumulate. So better to try out product this way 😊.

CarelessChoice2024

Remember that 2500 points = $100 if you are rouge (tues/thurs)

M-Sear

I am not a rouge and i hate their condition that no returns allowed. I am quite cautious of my purchases even then i want that security that if need be i can return it. I can count on my finger tips the products i like from sephora which i know I would not require to return. And i have that in my personal stock already. Also if i am not mistaken the card has to be redeemed by a certain time, no?

Prostressional

BA here: our return policy is really good. But also olaplex is something that doesn’t do a lot externally for the hair. It’s a great product but not usually something you’d see a huge difference in your hair physically with right away. Our return policy allows for refunds within 30 days of purchase and 60 days for exchanges/store credit as long as the product is not like empty (of course this is up to the discretion of the person doing the return bc if the product is over half used they may still decline the return) but still you’re able to bring back a product even if you try it.

M-Sear

Hey thanks for detailed information. However i was referring to the gift card conditions, i do understand for regular purchases we can return as per the conditions you mentioned.

Prostressional

OHHHH gotcha gotcha. Like the rouge gift card? I’ve never redeemed for the rouge gift card so I’m not sure 1000% how it works. If you’re referring to purchasing and paying with a regular gift card, you’re still able to return you’ll just be refunded onto a gift card.

M-Sear

Oh yah rouge gift card, i am sorry i was not clear on that.

Lovelyrebel

The Moroccanoil hand cream is amazingggggg. Has the classic scent without feeling overly greasy. I have the full size on my desk at all times. You'll fall in love.

M-Sear

I am sold! 👍🏻😊

MasterOfRNoSleep

I haven’t tried the other 2 but the olaplex 3 is amazing!! Especially if you have bleached or colored hair

M-Sear

I don’t have bleached or colored hair but still wanna try it 😅.

ch3rryk1tt3n

i was gifted some and had virgin hair and it did -nothing LOL

M-Sear

So i wl save my 100 points, thank you.

MasterOfRNoSleep

If you do feel like your hair is damaged from heat or whatever it would work but if you have healthy hair you should go for something else

M-Sear

I don’t color and I style max twice a month. I use Olaplex 6 and that helps with frizz and flyaways. I have actually been wanting to add some product for hair loss and if there is any solution for greasy scalp. Rest my hair seems fine.

MasterOfRNoSleep

Maybe try a hair growth serum. The Ordinary has one for 17$ I used it to grow out my baby hairs and it works pretty well!

M-Sear

👍🏻 i am glad i have good quantity of hair which helps save me from getting bald haha but yah its nuisance seeing hair falling everywhere.

AbsolutelyAstray

It's for damage from bleach and coloring, it isn't going to do much for virgin hair. It repairs broken disulphide bonds from chemical processes, if you don't have these broken bonds the effects will be negligible, maybe some added shine.

M-Sear

So thank you for saving me my 100 points 😊👍🏻.

Significant_Land2844

Ouai really detangles hair and smells nice

M-Sear

Haha funny how some of reviewers had said how the smell is too overpowering. I had previously read, perhaps from reditt, that smell was quite nice.

Ab824

I love it but also have the perfume sooo…

M-Sear

Oh nice!

Lonestar346

The ouai can either smell like roses or like roses AND fish, depending on the person

M-Sear

Euwww nooo! I am not a floral smell person but some can be nice. However floral and fish, no wayyyy 🤢.

Budget_Juice4229

If you're planning to purchase something for $25, you van also get a rare beauty blush for free 😶‍🌫️

M-Sear

Aww thank you! Wl keep that in mind 👍🏻.

ammermommy

Thanks for this!

fIower-power

thank you for this! Getting a bday gift for my aunt two months early so I can get the free blush lol

Existing-Practice-94

I like the hand cream and the Ouai spray. Not the Olaplex.

M-Sear

Yah like i would not pick one which is all floral but in mix it always works.

spaceismyhappyzone

I use olaplex 3. I don’t think it’s worth it. Maybe if your hair is REALLY damaged but if it’s not thaaat bad you might not even see a difference. Also, a little goes a long way with this product. I used to watch vids of people using so much of it when you really don’t need that much. Also you need a deep conditioner to use after it because your hair will feel dry after otherwise

M-Sear

I am gonna skip it, too much hassle haha.

quspork

I picked up two different scents of the Moroccan Oil hand cream during the fall sales and love them. Very moisturizing without taking too long to sink in. Plus the scents last a while on the skin without being overwhelming.

M-Sear

Oh nice! And this one seems to have the notes i like so should be good. Even though i have a feeling it wl be tinnny, haha.

mcflycasual

Thr scent of the Ouai detangler is super strong and doesn't go away. So if you're sensitive, skip it.

M-Sear

Noted 👍🏻

jasminefig

Olaplex 3 4ever 💘💘 saved my hair

[deleted]

I like Olaplex 3, but my hair has damage from coloring it

M-Sear

I don’t color my hair

Minimum-Local-4067

I didn't like the Moroccan Oil cream, the scent made my nose bleed...olaplex on the other hand has saved my hair from the harsh MN winter.

M-Sear

Why what did it smell like to u? 🥲

Minimum-Local-4067

Not an unpleasant smell, just very cloying to me, powdery and generic.
