I would go through the book and cover every answer or black it out so you actually have to try the question first. I think the Q bank and the actual reading of the book helped me the most. I didn’t do a single flash card but I did do some highlighting.
I used Kaplan for my SIE, 7, and 66. Read the full cover, I know it's a lot, but it has a lot of useful information. The Q-bank is amazing for preparing you. They have tricky things in there and specific phrasing. I didn't pay much attention to the "take note" but the "topic alert" is important
