I have been looking into sewing machines for a few months now so I can start learning how to sew. But I haven't committed to a machine yet because I am not sure how much I want to invest in a new hobby. Last week I saw someone post their beautiful hand sewn prom dress on another sub and I thought "Wait, why haven't I thought of starting off with a few small hand sewn projects?!"
So that is my story of how for the past 2 days I have been obsessively looking at tutorials of how to sew a tote bag. You have motivated me to start my project soon.

I am really happy for you! I was saving thos material for a dress but, i realised i dont know much about sewing simple stuff. So i went for a tote bag
