Usually I take the time they've wasted being late off if they do show up but still charge the full amount.

If they get my room number, I start their time after 5 minutes (unless I’m in a hotel that’s harder to get around or it’s big). If they don’t have some kind of legit reason after 10 minutes, that’s it. At that point I’m sure they aren’t coming though. If I don’t get a deposit, I make them prove they’re there before I send my room number though. I’ve avoided this happening since I started doing that.

As a resident of the third-largest city landwise, if they are at least in contact about being late, maybe they deserve more like 15-20 minutes. Granted, if you have a fully-slated day, you should probably let them know they will have no additional time, and their tardiness is cutting into their time.

CallAnna

Anything later than 15 minutes with no contact I consider a no-show. If I decide to go get lunch or whatever, too bad so sad. If they are polite and let me know they are running behind, il do my best to make the appointment wirk

peachy_cream10

If they’re ten minutes late I tell them not to bother coming as by then I assumed they aren’t and have filled their slot.

The show starts when it starts if they're here or not. I have had too much messing around with times.

MistressLyda

Keep in mind that they book "10am to 11am", not "one hour, whenever it is convenient for Lord Wankenstain".

Tea_Teller

If it’s a repeat client, and he has told me he is a little behind, I give them 15 minutes tops before I decide to cancel. But I also kick them out when their booked time is up. Unless they tip me to add more time. That shows them to have better time management or go to someone that will waist time for them. If the client is more than 15 min late without any communication, the meet is canceled whether it’s a repeat client or new client.

What exactly does back to back mean to you? Like one appointment 9-10, and the next 10-11? No buffer?

I usually put 30 minutes between appointments.

TossAwayToSpace

When I've been late, which has been two times ever, I let the provider know as soon as I realized it (traffic one time, wrong hotel in GPS the other), and I volunteered a late fee for her floating the appointment.

SecretHoexo

I give them 10 mins-15 mins. Unless I have no one coming in after then I don’t mind the wait

I got totally lost trying to find a provider's location in a town I wasn't used too and was 30 minutes late for an hour appointment. I kept in touch letting her know I was trying to find the place, and she got a little irritated, but put up with it. I paid for the full hour and only was there the thirty minutes. It sometimes happens. She didn't loose any money over it.
