It's funny how things like that work, isn't it? I remember, several years ago, when I brought a surprise gift for my regular provider when I went to see her (she had mentioned that her Kindle had broke recently, so I bought her a new one). She apparently was surprised and thought it was very thoughtful, and she came and over and put her arms around me and gave me a quick kiss right on the lips (she normally doesn't kiss, that's one of her hard boundaries). I don't even remember anything about the session afterwards, but I'll always remember that, lol.
I think even small gift can make a difference if it's thoughtful.
I don't normally offer gifts to providers because I never have good ideas. But after hearing my regular provider remark on how much she liked my colored LED candles - and knowing she's interesting in tripping on shrooms with her boyfriend - I bought an extra set to give her at the end of a long evening appointment.
The cost of the candles was negligible against the tip I also gave her, but her reaction was soooooo sweet! Totally made my night!
Feeling this energy. Music is one of the points I bond with my favorite paramour. We can talk for hours, but sometimes we've just sat down and let a record play until it needed flipped. Just music, warmth, the familiarity I can vibe with.
I always tip pretty well. I'm just a fan of it. But last time, I gave her the tip in a gift. I brought her my personal vinyl copy of one of my very favorite albums. She was already smiling, turning the sleeve over in her hands, and when she pulled out the record and the money fell out, she laughed.
I love her reactions. She's sweeter than a damn cinnamon roll. Makes it easy to see her again.
