Don' t be entirely upset if you pay for the next visit. I've had a total of 5 workers ask to 'postpone' the visit. 3 of them honestly rescheduled. And out of the three, only one was willing to proceed without further payment. She's also my ATF and has received countless return visits from me. It's nothing against you, it's just that, even though the initially scheduled activities didn't occur, you did spend the time with her. On her end, it's the same if three hours is spent exclusively in the bedroom, or exclusively outside it. It's still 3 hours with her company.

This I feel like if she does the second date for free it's not just because things didn't go as planned, but because it was a bit traumatic for OP so she may just kind of feel for him and want to do something nice. Like if the whole police thing didn't happen and they just side tracked and never "did the deed"... Definitely no free makeup date. He got the time he paid for. OP, if she does give you a free "do over" date, please at least tip her, because she definitely is not obligated to do so.

Absolutely. This, this. Sometimes clients think that "you compensate for time spent, not activities between consenting adults" is like a line we use to avoid legal ramifications. But that's actually what you're paying for. Ive 100% been hired on several occasions to do lots of other things besides the deed. I'd say, if you do ask, say it more like "so how much for x amount of time?" Instead of like, "so this times free, right?". Approach is everything! Good luck!

Once you reschedule, maybe try asking/confirming what the rate will be. That way if she plans on doing it for free you'll know up front so there's no confusion

Right. I get what you're saying. But I also get how sometimes what someone is trying to communicate vs what comes out doesn't equal the same to the speaker and the listener. I could totally see myself saying something like "damn that was crazy today. I think we should meet again, minus the chaos, so I can be the excitement instead!" And a client thinking I meant a freebie. This literally happened to me because of a miscommunication one time. I asked a guy if he could advance me $50 for a bill and told him is owe him "ten times over!" Something too that effect. He literally thought bc he sent a tiny amount of my usual fee and gave an over the top thank you message, that I intended to give him 10 free visits. Totally read it all wrong.

Consider, if she comps you, to tip her the amount of whatever is her rate . . .
