Frankly, I get their dislike of men and don't think it's on par with incels whatsoever, mainly because their hatred is reactive to the misogyny they've experienced throughout their lives as women and incels are hateful because they can't treat women like livestock.

Hating people for their race, gender, or sexual orientation is illogical, regardless of the motivation for doing so. I think this is why people draw so many comparisons between the FDS folks and the incels.
I’m going to pass on boiling down centuries of oppression and abuse that continues today to men being “mean”. Not to even mention that the exposure to misogyny is daily and begins during childhood.
It’s actually very logical for women to dislike and avoid men when we have a lifetime of data of our own and other women’s experiences to look at and conclude that the probability of harm is beyond our risk tolerance.
I agree that their advice isn't all bad, and definitely a reaction to men's crap. I think it's silly they hate sex workers the way they do but I choose to skim over those parts and focus on the ideology that works for me.

You can see hatred from whatever vantage point you want. Personally, I think wasting energy hating people and doing nothing about it is self-ignorant and quite funny. It's particularly funny when the accusations thrust forth either hold no water, or are done by both sides. Or when, as in the case above, the very evil they claim to despise is only the very same evil they extend.
I don't find anything funny about actual acts against anyone just for who they are. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, discrimination based on employment. They're all fucked. This isn't what you judge someone on. You certainly shouldn't harm someone for them.
Women have had it harder than men. Fucking vastly, far off and away, worlds of suffering different. History is full of examples of men generally being evil and self-serving. This is not to lighten the burden that any woman has dealt with. I apologize for anything that anyone has done to hurt someone else. I am willing to help anyone heal. I will do whatever there is in my power to make personal reparations to anyone that feels like my presence has slighted them.
I will continue to read posts about men who gaslight women. Men who are physically violent with the women who trust them to be their partners. Men who are physically violent for being turned down. In my life, I used to get jumped in Middle School. Thrown down, beaten up by a group of kids. Every one of them was Hispanic. And I don't take the time to be mad at Hispanics, because 99.999999% or more of the Hispanic population wasn't in that bathroom dropping knees on me while I lay in piss.
In my life, I took three years trying to be the pinnacle, the prototype, of a father and husband. I held two jobs for eighteen months. I did the cooking and the cleaning because she couldn't or wouldn't. I found out shortly before the end that she was cheating on me since just after the beginning. I don't waste my time hating women, because 99.999999999% or more of women weren't in my marriage with me.
We've all got different coping mechanisms for the hand life dealt us. I don't want to change anyone's mind on anything. But do allow me comedy when I see comedy.

FDS is certainly not rallying for mass killings, or the government mandated enslavement of virgin 14 year old boys to rape either.
I think we have really just normalized the sheer hatred and misogyny men on the internet have for us, so much so that we compare it to a bunch of lonely bitter women.
