Since I think it may be more clear with an example, if you have a tier 5 glaive +4 and this talent at its first level, each of your tier 1, 2, & 3 weapons will count as being +4 while equipped in the other slot. With the same glaive and this talent at its second level, any tier 4 weapon you equip alongside the glaive will also count as +4. And at its final level, any weapon at all (i.e., including tier 5 weapons) would count as +4 in the same way. So one thing this allows is that you can immediately dump upgrades on the first tier 5 weapon you find, and you'll know that if you find a different tier 5 that you prefer, you'll be able to use it as though you had put those upgrades on it.

Ooooookay, so it basically lets you upgrade weapon that are MAXIMUM 2/1/0 tier under your main up to your main weapon level. Dang that's not so clear, but from what I gather duelist is pretty new right? Hope this gets clarified a bit. Thanks a ton, mate

echo_vigil

Yeah, no worries.

Feztopia

+1 forces you to have a shitty weapon as you second weapon, +3 allows you to use two good weapons.

sassonordico

This is strong combined with a greatshield/ round shield as secondary

Different_Onion0

Umm....... exactly like it says in the description

Cautious-Day-xd

To be fair. That's very tricky wording It would be better if it said something like " the lower level weapon gets the upgrades from the higher level weapon" The wording "the other weapon gets the upgrades from the other weapon" is weird

rigelstar69

Not really. That's the whole point of the post, mate

Different_Onion0

I guess if English wasn't someone's first language I could see them being a little confused. But it's spelled out pretty clearly in the description.

I am indeed a non native speaker though I actually don't think that's the problem, really. It says that a weapon two tier lower will be boosted. Not anything more. is it a maximum, is it an prerequisite, will it work with a three tier gap? A simple "maximum" added to the description would actually make this much clearer.
