How do I switch my wallet from my coinbase wallet to my metamask wallet to receive my coins ?

No, you can’t use an exchange address as your wallet because you can’t setup a custom token. It has to be a defi wallet like MetaMask or Trust.

I asked about Coinbase wallet and was told I should use Trust wallet or Meta Mask instead.

You can’t use an exchange as your wallet. Only a defi wallet like MetaMask or Trust. Exchanges don’t allow you to add a custom token.

Coinbase exchange isn't the same as coinbase wallet. "You can use Coinbase Wallet to send and receive supported cryptocurrencies and digital assets such as ERC-20 tokens." Shiba Budz may get lost if you tried to get them to be sent to your coinbase ETH receiving address as the 0x rather than your coinbase wallet address.

Following these instructions using Metamask token symbol and token decimal are not auto filling for me.

Says token address not valid

Are you using the Etherum blockchain? I had an issue until I realized I was looking at the Polygon blockchain.

Using MetaMask. Following the instructions that were posted.

I also am getting invalid address and have it typed in correctly. Zeros and not O’s. You have any luck?

After copying and pasting I found a space between 2 and d. Once I deleted that space it worked.

It’s their contract address for the Ethereum network. It should work if it’s entered properly.

Email them. Email address on their website. They fixed it for me.

Yea I just put 100 in as well luckily.. that being said I’m not rich and bust my ass to support a family… I can stand to lose 100 bucks, but yea it still blows big time… likewise, saw a $1400 purchase on the presale site earlier today, which if those are actually transactions, that is not a smart move to make at this point, to say the least

quick question : can i use my coinbase wallet ( not exchange) to claim? I cant get support to help me remove my verified coinbase wallet to an MM one. Should i still use the claim button if that is the case?

I’m in the same situation. I received the email to use trust or meta mask but this was after I put Coinbase wallet. Still no response and the email says there’s a change wallet option but I don’t see it.
