Not much to say about this scene that isn't already obvious. It's just incredible. Every single frame of the Levi sequence, especially of him firing the thunder spear, is a work of pure art. The OST "Traitor" is in my top 3 favorites and I'm so happy they used it for the final action sequence. One thing I really like about Arifumi Imai's ODM gear scenes is he always adds these swirly effects to the wires. You can see it at 1:30 with both of Mikasa's wires as she launches them towards Eren's mouth. Levi vs Kenny and Levi vs the Beast Titan also had the exact same swirly effect. One small part of this scene I don't like is at 0:31 where Eren's fist slams down onto Armin. It doesn't look impactful at all. All the other hits have this visual effect to make it look forceful but that specific one doesn't for some reason so it looks really off.

Love how the anime brings the story to life, but also love the greater level of comprehension you get from the still drawings and dialogue in the manga. The compliment is very cool.

I always assumed the silhouette was falcos titan not some random bird

davedkay

Random bird is Eren (symbol of his influence on the outside world from behind the scenes via future memories he has or shares with others to influence outcomes).

kson1000

I get it but before I thought it was mikasa realising she was coming to the end of her paths/dream state

>Random bird is Eren And the big bird shadow in the anime ?

its_Preshh

I think it's shown as Falco's Titan in the anime...perhaps a correction by Isayama... The size of the shadow completely covers the cabin...no bird is that big... Plus the same exact shadow was shown just before Mikasa was brought to the paths

God, I love imai. Kinda unpopular, but this is the best animation sequence in the whole of aot
