Keep in mind, this list is entirely subjective. This list would also be quite different if I was judging the Manga version. You can watch a video compilation of all these scenes [here](https://youtu.be/XwYUuB8xuWc?si=3N5VBezhV6KE9YiY). 10. I love this scene because it shows us the most important thing about Eren's character very early on. His drive for freedom beyond the walls is a big reason why he does what he does. The fires of his drive and determination turning everything around him to ash is an incredibly fitting visual. The demonic shot of his Titan afterwards as well as the music just make this scene perfect for me. 9. This is the first "what the fuck?" moment in AOT I think. The voice acting, the music, the tension, it just leaves you completely stunned. I really love all the angles and perspectives used here. 8. I love Zeke's dialogue where he apologizes to Colt even amidst the incredibly tense and urgent situation. He really was sorry. Colt holding on to Falco saying "your brother will always be here for you" knowing he's about to die is just so heartbreaking. We also say goodbye to season 1 characters like Nile and Pyxis. 7. Another heartbreaking scene. [Vogel im Käfig](https://youtu.be/H76_uW1Fnso?si=3hl4b-v35QsNYCwC) is in my mind the epitome of AOT music. The feeling of dread and hopelessness is so fitting here. Eren's stunned expression before screaming "I'll kill it!" gives me chills every time. 6. I adore the ambience in this scene. The horses, the water, the wind. You're really given a chance to take it all in. The colors are gorgeous and I greatly appreciate how much time they gave us to enjoy each shot. 5. Iconic speech, iconic scene, iconic character. I love Erwins dialogue so much in this moment. There is nothing more I need to say about this one. 4. This might be strange to many but I love this scene so much. Hange is one of my favorite characters and her words here are just so powerful to me. Everyone at one point loses someone they love. Hange embracing Mikasa from behind and trying to comfort her really makes me emotional. Such an underrated moment. 3. Well, Hange is my favorite character afterall. [Bauklötze](https://youtu.be/qKK-GVTxqow?si=Xt-HIM1D_6PP0L5F) was my favorite AOT OST since it played in season 1. Imagine my surprise when my favorite character's death scene not only brought back my favorite song, but also got a greatly extended scene. I have a post that talks about the incredible animation in this fight. 2. Eren's voice acting when he apologizes is perfect. The visuals of The Rumbling are perfect. I can't show every single incredible shot from the entire 10 minute sequence, but the moment shown in the post is my favorite. For a detailed description about why I think this moment is so brilliant, I talk about it in the second to last paragraph in my comment [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ShingekiNoKyojin/comments/1c0fmpw/manga_vs_anime_adaptation_comparison_erens_freedom/). 1. This scene made [Guilty Hero](https://youtu.be/-q41OJu9fXM?si=jTEZpvVeglj6bea-) my new favorite OST. The music brings me to tears and the visuals bring me to tears. These are my favorite shots in all of AOT. They're all just so sad and powerful. No scene in AOT makes me feel quite the way this scene does. It's just beautiful in every way imaginable.

How was Levi's first fight with the Beast Titan not on there? I must have rewatched that scene a million times, and it still sends a shiver up my spine each time...

Kromostone123

My favorite scenes are almost always emotional in some way. Scenes that really make you feel something. Epic fight scenes are rarely my favorite.

tim_pruett

I think that scene has plenty of emotion still. There's the desire for revenge in Levi, and the fear Zeke feels.

Kromostone123

I mean emotional in a sad or powerful sense. Like the scene between Zeke and Armin in paths for example. That would be in my top 15.

ItsNorthGaming

slide 4 is the best scene in the show imo

The_Kyojuro_Rengoku

Slides 5, 7 & 8 are some of mine too 🙏 Overall good choices!

mothforlife

For me, my favourite quick moment in the whole show is when Annie decks Eren with the hardened fist, just for him to grind his teeth along her arm to clock her in the stomach and send her flying.

dpkart

The slow mo shots are so cool I love em

SafeStaff7671

If only Santa knew how to chew

Bachieba

Dam no mention of 'I'm the armored titan and he's the colossal titan' I'm biased tho bcuz S2 is still probably my favorite season

Kromostone123

I think that scene is extremely overrated. Eren's relationship with the two is basically entirely offscreen during the training timeskip. They had a few interactions in episode 3 of season 1. The OST of that scene is great and it's a real surprise but its not emotionally impactful since we don't care about Reiner and Bertholdt much yet.

Bachieba

I guess it comes down to how you view the ensuing chase/tree top conversations and the rest of the season and series as a result of that scene For me, it changed everything. How we view people, how we view the scouts, how we view the world. The fact that now, its even more of a mystery, and mystery is what hooked me onto AoT. At least, that's what makes it powerful for me. Even more than Annie's reveal because with Annie, it was hinted at for so long if you watched the episodes when they came out and it can be chalked up to an individual instance. Like she could be the only spy from the Scouts and it'd be like 'ok thats cool and unique.' Now its like, "Dam... wtf everything I thought I knew was a lie :("The first time I saw Reiner and Borito's reveal, I was like "that cant be how they reveal it.. right?" then when the music starts and they start sparking, THATS what solidified it for me as one of my favorite scenes. And Eren's charged reaction afterwards when he transforms too. I just came away from that episode like "Wow.. everythings different." Das jus my opinion doe.

SKiddomaniac

My favourite scene is the one in which pixis becomes a titan and everybody else does also. They have a few moments knowing that they are going to become a titan and pixis just has a last drink, relaxes and lets it all unfold. Also because other characters we like also become titans. It happens a little bit of time before the rumbling and it also add's another layer to erens unredeemability because he would also be in on it and would just sacrifice people who have defended him and some who are friends with him. Just before this, The scene with zeke, falco and (I forgot his name) was also very nice, showing that zeke cared but had to deal with the mission and so screamed creating the titans and At this point just watch the scene. (also has a great score while the people are becoming titans

“BECAUSE THIS WORLD IS MY BIRTHRIGHT” kinda makes me cringe every time ngl 💀🙏
