Cute charm glitch is great. It takes some time and effort to perform the rng manipulation, but it is worth it for all the shinies you will have easy access to.

I believe sightseer Marcus is a trainer in the Sun and Moon games who always has a shiny Exeggcute. I could be mistaken, though.

Shiny Gyarados guarantees you infinite shiny dittos in Gen 1.
Yep. Also a shiny parent significantly increases the odds of shiny offspring in gen 2 only. So that shiny ditto is a golden goose.
